  • Majestic ties up with ScoreData to streamline analytics

    MUMBAI: BSE-SME-listed Majestic Research Services and Solutions Ltd (MRSS) has formed an alliance with California-based global data analytics firm – ScoreData to streamline sophisticated analytics in customer engagement.

    As part of the alliance, MRSS clients will mine new data sources, modelling on the ScoreFast™ run-time platform to uncover insights quickly for data analysts and business managers alike.

    MRSS India chairman Raj Sharma said, “With the Indian economy on the cusp of a major tax reform that is set to galvanize the economy, the alliance would leap-frog MRSS India into the next level and gear itself for several new opportunities that are set to open up in this emerging market.”

    Scoredata’s analytic tool will help consumer goods companies including banking and financial services, insurance firms, telecom service and retail companies to unlock their full data potential.

  • Shivanand Shenoy joins MRSS India

    MUMBAI: MRSS India, the Indian arm of market research agency Majestic MRSS, has brought on board Shivanand Shenoy as a senior director for client servicing.

    Shenoy will be supervising the IT, online and FMCG verticals for MRSS. He will also be heading the new vertical of ‘Digital Research’.

    The verticals that Shenoy will look into will mainly revolve around social networking sites and mobile penetration.

    Shenoy said, “Market Research is no more only about questionnaires and telephonic surveys. When the largest section of consumers are into social networking and mobile phones, so in order to make them understand we need to speak in their own language. Thus we need to use modern ways to gather more information and reach the target audience. MRSS India is pioneer is getting many technologies to India. This not only helps to reach the target audience in easy and most convenient way but also helps in filtering and sorting the information gathered.”

    Majestic MRSS launches India outfit; Panchal to head

    MUMBAI: Global multi-country market research agency and business intelligence unit, Majestic MRSS, has launched MRSS India to service Indian clients‘ market research requirements both in India, and outside the country.

    The company has brought on board Sarang Panchal as MRSS India chief mentor and co-founder. Having more than two decades of experience in market research, he was Nielsen MD, Asia-Pacific, between 2007 and 2008.

    The new outfit in India will look to capitalise on technologies for insight, developed by Majestic MRSS and its partners in the US, Europe, and Japan.

    “MRSS India will offer Indian marketers local access to the best of breed technology to generate consumer insights,” the company said.

    The company‘s aim is to be the biggest local independent agency by the end of the decade.

    Majestic MRSS co-founder, president Raj Sharma said, “Panchal‘s appointment will have a huge impact. With the kind of knowledge of the Indian market that he has, he will help us provide a lot of value to our Indian clients. The formation of the Indian arm will help us gain sizeable market share.”
