    Mumbai: This Pujo season, Domino’s, India’s leading pizza chain, aims to be a significant part of the celebrations in the east. Motivated by the success of last year’s additions, the brand is eager to enhance the customer experience further. Especially for the Puja season, Domino’s showcases its collection of six delectable pizzas with three new pizzas inspired by authentic Bangla and Eastern regional cuisine.

    The immense success of last year’s introduction of special eastern flavours during the festive season has spurred Domino’s to expand its offerings to now offer mutton and prawn pizzas in India for the very first time.     MUMBAI: Bharti Airtel (“Airtel”), India’s leading telecommunications services provider, today launched a new app – Airtel Books to bring an exciting collection of e-books to smartphone users. With this, Airtel has further diversified its fast growing digital content portfolio to add to its popular offerings like Wynk Music and Airtel TV. 

    Available to both Airtel and non-Airtel customers in iOS and Android, Airtel Books will initially offer over 70,000 titles from leading Indian and international authors. Latest launches like Mind Without Fear from Rajat Gupta are part of the exciting collection. Airtel Books plans to rapidly expand its e-books collection by partnering with leading publishers as well as leveraging its strategic partnership with Juggernaut Books.

    All Airtel Books users will get a complimentary 30 day trial to experience the app and can access ‘Free’ titles from the Readers Club. Airtel smartphone customers will also enjoy a one-time special benefit of being able to access any five ‘Paid’ titles from the Readers Club, which has a collection of over 5000 e-books.                

    Airtel Books has a subscription service called, Reader’s Club which is priced at Rs. 129 for 6 months and Rs. 199 for 12 months. Customers can also buy books on a per book basis with best-in-class offers.

    MUMBAI: New Delhi Television Ltd (NDTV) has launched India’s first mobile-only vertical live channel with the name NDTV HOP Live. India has nearly 432 million internet users and this number is growing at a rate of 4-8 per cent, according to Deloitte’s Technology, Media and Telecommunication (TMT) prediction 2018- India edition. With the tremendous digital advances and ongoing smartphone revolution, NDTV HOP Live hopes to break the clutter of digital content and focuses on creating a young and energetic voice of the generation.

    NDTV group CEO Suparna Singh said, "NDTV is valued and recognised for creating and launching terrific new content in the online space. This partnership with Airtel allows us to use to dream potential the possibilities of digital and telecom technology. "We know younger users want great content on the small screen. This is original, made-from-scratch content for them, not replicated or ported from our other platforms. It's very exciting to be rolling this out at this time in India."

    The app has a mix of live shows and fast-paced features, it has ditched the horizontal view and has followed a more personal and focuses approach by adopting the vertical format. According to Counterpoint Research, a market research company, India will have more than a billion smartphone users in the next five years. The numbers of users will exceed 700 million by the year 2022.

    Currently, India is the second largest smartphone industry in the world with more than 400 million active users, after China.

    The app is available on Google Play store and IOS app store. It is also available exclusively on Airtel TV.

    MUMBAI: Airtel has partnered with video on demand platform ZEE5 to offer premium content. This benefit can be accessed by eligible #AirtelThanks customers via Airtel TV app.

    All Airtel prepaid and postpaid customers with monthly average revenue of Rs 199 will be eligible to gain access into premium ZEE5 content which includes original series and movies.

    MUMBAI: Indian global telecommunications company Bharti Airtel is teaming up with Flipkart, MakeMyTrip and Netflix to provide customised offers for its consumers, in a bid to compete with Reliance Jio.

    Reliance Jio, having experienced a huge growth over time, used the same strategy to attract customers. Airtel will also attempt to expand itself into a digital platform to attract more customers.

    According to a report by The Economic Times, the offer will be harboured under the #AirtelThanks privilege membership programme. Subscribers who contribute a monthly revenue of over Rs 100 on an average can enjoy the benefits of the offer. On the principle, higher the recharge, bigger the offer value.

    Flipkart will offer cash backs in the form of coupon recharges on buying a smartphone from the ecommerce platform.

    The idea is to make sure a subscriber stays with the firm. “We studied telcos across the globe including T Mobile and Telstra for this,” said Bharti Airtel CMO Vani Venkatesh.

    Speaking to ET, Jaideep Ghosh, partner at consultancy firm KPMG explained how Reliance Jio’s services have demanded other telcos to rise a step up further. Explaining that, he said, “In the currently competitive landscape, traditional sources of plain vanilla telecom services and data services are facing intense pressure and telcos need to branch out into other services, Carriers need to get into partnerships to achieve this, which is crucial to their future growth.”

    Concluding this, Sameer Batra, CEO – content and apps, at Bharti Airtel said, “The more you are invested in the brand, the higher differentiated products and more options thrown to you”.

    Airtel TV breaches 5 crore downloads mark on Android

    MUMBAI: Indian telecom giant Bharti Airtel’s video streaming app, Airtel TV, has clocked over 5 crore downloads on Google Play, the company said on Thursday. To mark the occasion, the telco has extended free subscription to Airtel prepaid and postpaid users from June 31 to December 31.

    “We are thrilled at achieving this milestone and being able to scale up the app so rapidly. This is a strong endorsement from our users and a result of our unrelenting focus on delivering a world-class in-app experience,” Bharti Airtel  CEO – Content and Apps , Sameer Batra, was quoted as saying by NDTV.

    The app, which offers more than 375 live TV channels, over 10,000 movies and shows, was given a face lift in 2017 to enhance its reach. The recently concluded edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) was streamed for free on Airtel TV. The app offers 15 language options.

    In order to improve engagement through quality content, Airtel TV has partnered with Eros Now, SonyLIV, HOOQ, Hotstar, Amazon and AltBalaji. That’s not all. The company intends to pursue a similar model going forward to further innovate its offerings.

What’s more, there are daily cash prizes to be won from a total kitty of over two crore rupees.     

    The Airtel TV FREE Hit gaming experience is available to users in two version – Airtel TV Free Hit LIVE that can be played every day before the T20 match at 7:30pm and a non-LIVE version that can be played along the with the T20 match telecast.

    This game will also offer users the option of ‘life’ which is active during the course of T20 matches and will help users evade elimination. Users are also granted extended ‘lives’ upon watching an existing game till the end and can be utilized for the next/ upcoming match as well.

    Airtel TV FREE hit:  This non-LIVE version gets activated at the beginning of every T20 match and has been designed specifically for the sit-at-home cricket lovers. Users simply have to correctly analyse the match outcome to win instant money.     MUMBAI: Bharti Airtel and Amazon India have joined hands to ring in an entertaining new year for customers. New and existing Airtel postpaid customers with an infinity plan of Rs 499 or above will get a one-year Amazon Prime membership, worth Rs 999 for free.

    Customers can watch Amazon Prime Video and access over 11 million Prime-eligible products while shopping on Amazon.in. The offer for one year of Amazon Prime is activated exclusively through the Airtel TV app. Access to Prime Video is available after downloading the Prime Video app on supported devices.
