    Rohini Venkateswaran to replace Sairamana Ponugoti as sales head at P&G India

    MUMBAI:  P&G India has appointed Rohini Venkateswaran as sales head of the organisation who will take over from the new year. She replaces Sairamana Ponugoti who resigned recently with his last day being 31 December 2024.  The company informed the BSE about the development through a regulatory filing today.

    Rohini Venkateswaran is an alumnus of SP Jain Institute of Management, Mumbai. She currently serves as the vice president & country manager Procter & Gamble Gulf – east gulf & sales strategy Gulf. In her current role, Rohini is responsible for five countries in Gulf- Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain and Qatar as general manager and UAE as overall sales strategy leader.   

    She joined Procter and Gamble India in 2005 in sales, and has diverse experiences in distributor management, modern trade and sales strategy and planning roles across geographies including Dubai and the US. She has worked with all global customers and channels including e-commerce and has also gained diverse experience as the commercial leader for Olay and Old Spice in India.

    She is passionate about equality and  inclusion and building long-term strategic partnerships with stakeholders. She enjoys coaching and mentoring people in bringing out their best. She is a graduate in mechanical engineering from RV College of Engineering, Bangalore.

    Mumbai: Xanadu Realty has announced the appointment of Ranjeet Kamtekar as president and head of sales for its Bengaluru operations. He will be responsible for establishing Xanadu Realty’s formidable presence as a ‘business accelerator’ in the South market and play a pivotal role in delivering on Xanadu’s promise to its clients, said the company.

    Kamtekar comes with over 17 years of experience in the sales and business development domains and has extensively worked in BFSI and real estate industries. He has been associated with Xanadu Realty Mumbai, for about five years now, during which he has helmed several residential and commercial projects. He has also played an integral role in the establishment of various business verticals – corporate sales, outstation sales, and channel partner network distribution, providing a significant boost to the overall growth of Xanadu Realty in Mumbai.

    In his impressive career graph, Kamtekar has worked as a sales manager-lending for ICICI Bank Ltd and as an AVP and senior relationship manager, business banking for HSBC. In the real estate sector, he was associated with the Lodha Group as the GM, where he was responsible for identifying various opportunities to drive deeper market penetration.

    News Express brings Sanjeev Kumar as network sales head

    MUMBAI: After quitting India TV and joining News Express as CEO, Vinod Kapri has been working on getting his A team together. The latest to be recruited is  media professional Sanjeev Kumar who will be heading  the channel’s network sales.

     

    Kumar has over seven years of experience, the last being as the country head for ANN7 in South Africa. He has also worked as a vice president of sales at Zee News handling the channels Zee News, Zee UP/UK, Zee Punjabi, Zee MPCG. He was also associated with the Outlook group and Bennet Coleman and Co.

     

    Kapri says, “Sanjeev Kumar has a very rich experience of media sales and is a step further in our endeavour to build a team of best professionals in media.”

     

    He has already beefed up the channel’s editorial and managerial teams and is also focusing on improving  its distribution.  Amit Tripathi was earlier roped in as COO, Satish K Singh as the editor, Ravikant Mittal as managing editor and Jacob Matthew as executive editor.

     

    While the channel isn’t available on a lot of platforms as of now, it has struck a deal with one of India’s  biggest DTH operators – Tata Sky – recently. Close to 11 million subscribers will get to watch News Express from 5 February onwards.
