    Mumbai: Games24x7 on Friday announced Hrithik Roshan as the brand ambassador for online skill gaming platform, RummyCircle. As part of the partnership, Roshan will be seen in multimedia campaigns by RummyCircle, spanning across TV, digital and social media platforms. 

    “Hrithik has had a remarkable career which is an epitome of versatility as he makes the right moves at the right time. His dynamism, talent and widespread appeal have made him really stand out. This resonates well with Games24x7 as we are constantly differentiating ourselves by providing awesome game playing experiences,” said Games 24×7 co-founder and CEO Bhavin Pandya.

    The brand will unveil the new campaign #RahoEkKadamAage starring Hrithik via a high decibel television commercial starting 29 January. The campaign highlights real life scenarios where Hrithik Roshan will demonstrate mental dexterity to find a way out of unforeseen situations. 

    Speaking on his engagement, Hrithik Roshan said the campaign highlights that whenever one encounters unexpected difficulties in life, they can overcome it with the right approach. “I’m happy to be associated with RummyCircle and Games24x7 for this splendid campaign. Rummy is a game of skill that requires intellectual acumen, patience, and tact. What I like is that these are the same skills that you need, to overcome the challenges at various points in life. So, in a way, the game is a fun way to build life skills,” he added.

    NEW DELHI- Star Sports, theofficial broadcaster of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020), has signed a partnership with Daily Hunt as an associate sponsor. A close source confirmed the development to Indiantelevision.com. The brand aims to maximise its reach via advertising on IPL 2020.

    The local language content discovery platform recently launched a short-video app ‘Josh’. As per reports, the IPL broadcast sponsorship will be used to promote the new launch.

    Announcing the official launch on Wednesday, Dailyhunt said gaining phenomenal traction through the beta phase, Josh is Dailyhunt’s tribute to Bharat, celebrating its creative beauty and diversity. “In the last 45 days of its beta launch, Josh numbers have exploded: 200+ A-rated exclusive creators, 4 mega music labels, 50+ million downloads, 1+ billion video plays per day, 23+ million daily active users (DAUs), 21+ minutes time spent per DAU, and over 5 million User Generated Content (UGC) content creators,” the platform claimed.  

    Star Sports already has signed up with brands like PolyCab, ITC, Coca Cola, Rummy Circle, AMFI, P&G, Kamla Pasand as associate on-air sponsors in the category. DailyHunt will be the 11th brand in the associate sponsorship category. 

    Other than this Star Sports will have Dream11, Phone Pe, Amazon, and Byju’s as Co-presenting sponsors of the league in IPL 2020.

    BARC week 30: Rummy Circle returns to the list

    NEW DELHI: The Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) of India has released its data for top advertisers and brands for the period between 25 July to 31 July 2020.

    The data reflects the top 10 advertisers and brands across genres on India television, 2+ Individuals, NCCS All demonstrating ads that were inserted the most in the 30th week of 2020.

    Top advertisers:

    Hindustan Unilever continued to be the biggest advertiser this week it got 280449 impressions. It was followed by Reckitt Benckiser which ranked second with 150176 ad impressions.

    Brooke Bond Lipton India Ltd bagged the third spot with 40371 insertions. ITC Ltd and Colgate Palmolive India secured the fourth and fifth place with 38783 and 36073 ad insertions respectively.

    Amazon Online India Pvt Ltd bagged the sixth spot with 25411 ad insertions.

    Other top brands in the pecking order were as follows: Amazon Online India Pvt Ltd, Wipro Ltd, Procter & Gamble, Godrej Consumer Products Ltd, Ponds India.

    Top Brands-

    Wheel Active 2 in 1 for the first time became the top brand this week with 16997 ad insertions. Dettol Toilet Soaps this time came in the second position with 16699 ad insertions. Lux Toilet Soap bagged the third spot, like last week, with 16640 ad impressions.  

    The fourth and the fifth spots were acquired by Dettol Antiseptic Liquid and Surf Excel easy wash with 16471 and 15720 ad insertions respectively.

    The sixth position was grabbed by Rummy Circle for the first time in the last so many weeks with 13676 ad insertions.

    Other top brands in the pecking order were as follows:  Colgate Swarna Vedshakti, Lizol, Horlicks and Dettol Liquid Soap.
