The bold relaunch features a complete makeover, right from edgy, gothic-inspired pack designs to two flavour-packed innovations, butter garlic, the garlic-bread-in-a-chip experience, and Himalayan pink salt, a refined twist on a timeless classic. With six striking packs that blend art, attitude and appetite, Bingo! is betting on curiosity, confidence and serious crunch.

“Humour has always been in Bingo!’s DNA,” said ITC Foods VP & head of marketing, snacks, noodles & pasta Suresh Chand. “This isn’t just a comeback, it’s a new energy, a new attitude, and a brand that’s owning its journey.”

Echoing that sentiment, Ogilvy senior executive creative director Rohit Dubey added, “When mischief and marketing meet in the right spot, magic happens.”

With this self-roasting, high-flavour reboot, Bingo! isn’t just back on the shelves, it’s back in the conversation. And this time, the answer to Bingo! is a loud, crunchy “YES.”

  • Ogilvy, PokerStars India partner to launch India’s first-ever poker TV campaign

Ogilvy, PokerStars India partner to launch India’s first-ever poker TV campaign

MUMBAI: PokerStars India has announced its association with Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui to launch India’s first-ever poker TV campaign. The launch and association are designed to strengthen the brand’s resonance as it seeks to bring the concepts of poker to a wider audience.

The campaign has been conceptualised by Ogilvy and brings to life the concept of bluff through engaging and fun narratives designed to entertain but also encourage people to work out whether Nawaz is bluffing and try their hand at the game themselves.

Ogilvy West group creative director Rohit Dubey said, “No pun intended, poker advertising in India is a tricky game. The communication has to tread the tight rope of legalities, balancing the elite and massy act simultaneously. The challenges were to tell engaging stories, that border between fact and fiction, and are interesting to watch. With ‘IS NAWAZ BLUFFING’, we tried to hit the triple whammy of curiosity, mass act and engagement that we hope is well accepted by the consumers. Nawazuddin Siddiqui brings an effortless fit and raises approachability quotient of Poker. It was sheer joy collaborating with the team at Pokerstars.in, who are creatively courageous and allowed us the room to write this campaign. Let’s see how cards unfold now. We are keeping a straight face.”

Senior vice president Harsh Bhatt mentioned, “Pokerstars is the biggest online poker brand globally. Yet, in India, it is just about launching. There were a ton of barriers we had to address. For one, Indians are habituated to playing card games like Rummy and Teen Patti. The first task was to introduce them to a new kind of game; a game of skill. Secondly, we had to toe a fine line between introducing the brand to the masses, and yet keep it on a pedestal over the other card games. Nawazuddin was our choice for a brand ambassador who could balance both. The launch itself was planned such – stage one introduces Poker to the masses through the commonly known card term – bluffs. It’s an interactive campaign which will engage with the audiences. We plan a second burst soon which will take the messaging forward by introducing the prerequisites for playing Poker. You’ll be happy to learn that Indians have all the prerequisites and more. The past few months have been a combination of a whole lot of strategic thinking, creative ideation and celebrity management, but it has all come together beautifully as a campaign.”

  • Ceat’s satirical take on how commuters & drivers act during monsoons

MUMBAI: To ensure safe travel for bike riders against uncertainties during the monsoon season, Ceat Limited, a leading tyre manufacturer, has launched its latest TVC ‘Nehlau’.  Conceptualised by ‘Ogilvy and Mather’, the TVC addresses the core issue faced by bike riders of water splashes and getting drenched owing to the onslaught of larger vehicles moving past at high speeds. Such scenario can lead to slippage of vehicle or an accident. In order to prevent slippage of vehicles and ensure stronger tyre grip on wet roads, Ceat TVC announces the launch of its monsoon smart range of tyres.

With its tongue-in-cheek humour, the TVC sets the narrative keeping its character “Mr. Nehlau” in the limelight. The story depicts the common incident observed on the roads during rainy season, wherein a super-fast vehicle driven by Mr. Nehlau takes an immense pleasure in splashing water on the passing by vehicles and pedestrians. At the end of the TVC, Ceat tyres save the biker from the huge water splash while conveying the strong message of ensuring safety of bike rider in difficult rainy situations.

Ceat VP marketing Nitish Bajaj said, “Our attempt is to ensure safety of bike riders from all the hazards that come along during the monsoon season, which can challenge the riding experience. Tyre plays a crucial role in holding the ground, which is direly needed for bike riders in such season.”

According to Ogilvy and Mather senior creative director Rohit Dubey, “Modern consumer has an attention span of a mayfly and commercials are watched on mute in gyms, lounges and lobbies. Just an insight is not enough. And that’s the raison d’être of our time-slice treatment.”

“At a sub-cutaneous level, this campaign is not just about sensitizing the consumer to Ceat’s ‘all season tyres’, it’s also an attempt in bolstering our brand voice. We intend to strike a chord with bikers not just as a tyre manufacturer, but as a riding mate who knows what they go through”, he added. The film has been shot in Film city Mumbai and directed by Arun Gopalan.

Ceat’s brand positioning has always been geared towards focusing on the tyres’ superior grip which provides a safer travelling experience. This is one of the many initiatives Ceat has undertaken to reiterate its audience connect.
