    ErosNow introduces offline service for premium customers

    MUMBAI: Eros International Plc, a leading global company in the Indian film entertainment industry, announced today the introduction of watch offline services across all iOS platforms for it premium customers at no additional charge on ErosNow, its digital over-the-top distribution service for Indian language entertainment. The company had recently announced the offline viewing service on Android devices.

    ErosNow’s offline feature option allows users to watch films when they have limited internet connectivity or low bandwidth while using the entertainment service. As part of the Premium subscription service, subscribers can now download movies from ErosNow to their iOS or Android devices for immediate viewing offline for as little as Rs.99 ($1.49) per month in India or $7.99 (or local equivalent) for international subscribers. The users are provided with a choice of quality of formats to accelerate and maintain the storage of downloads.

    Commenting on the feature update, Eros Digital CEO Rishika Lulla Singh said, “We recently announced the introduction of the offline feature for Android users and have now made the service available to iOS subscribers as well. This provides us with greater reach to an even wider base of global entertainment consumers.     NEW DELHI: Eros International’s OTT (over-the-top) platform ErosNow has entered into a content deal with telecom company Idea Cellular to provide a platform for its 4G users.

     

    The partnership offers Idea 4G subscribers access to ErosNow’s premium bundled services including movies, music, TV content and ErosNow originals.

     

    Eros Digital CEO Rishika Lulla Singh said, “With the growing penetration of data services across India, content consumption is surging across consumers. ErosNow’s association with a leading telecom player like Idea provides us the ideal platform to reach a larger subscriber base and offer a very compelling array of Bollywood and regional content.     Idea had recently announced the launch of 4G services across five southern states of India, and plans to expand to 750 towns in 10 service areas by June 2016.

     

    The association with ErosNow will enable Idea 4G customers in these markets to enjoy the content at a monthly subscription price of Rs 49. Idea is also offering a special subscription price of Rs 29 per month for its new 4G customers till 31 March, 2016.

    The PingTune acquisition provides Eros’ digital platform ErosNow with a first mover advantage in building a differentiated, one-of-a-kind music experience in India.

     

    The PingTune platform allows a deeper social connection between music, fans, and artists. It allows fans to discover, share and listen to music through their app. In addition, PingTune enables artists to create and own official profiles so that they can interact and deliver content directly to fans.

    MUMBAI: Bharti Airtel has partnered with ErosNow for its carrier agnostic mobile application – Wynk Movies.

     

    A first-of-its kind video marketplace, Wynk Movies offers a specially curated library of thousands of movies and other videos from a host of partners including ErosNow.

     

    With this partnership, users of Wynk Movies can access ErosNow’s Bollywood content offering new and classic Bollywood movies including exclusive online premieres like Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Shamitabh, Badlapur, Happy Ending and NH 10 even before their television premiere.

    ErosNow launches movie streaming service with Asianet Broadband

    MUMBAI: Eros International Media’s online entertainment service ErosNow has joined hands with Kerala’s Internet Service Provider (ISP) Asianet Broadband to launch a movie streaming service called Broadband Movies.

     

    The streaming service will enable Asianet customers to watch high quality entertainment content including its south Indian repertoire of movies and music from the ErosNow platform on multiple smart devices. The subscription-based service will be available to all Asianet Broadband subscribers with a one month free subscription.

     

    Eros Digital CEO Rishika Lulla Singh said, “We are delighted to partner with Asianet Broadband and bring the best in movies to its large subscriber base in Kerala. Asianet’s large scale bandwidth and high speed will allow users to view unlimited entertainment from our wide catalogue.”

    MUMBAI: Eros International Media’s on-demand entertainment portal ErosNow has added shows from Sony Entertainment Television (SET) and Sab to its catalogue. The content will be available to members at no extra subscription costs.

     

    Since most of the shows are currently on-air, archived content will be made available on the platform as well. Shows like CID, Taarak Mehat Ka Ooltah Chasmah and Balveer will be made available to subscribers on the platform.
