    MUMBAI: Eros International PLC (NYSE:EROS) (“Eros”), a leading global company in the Indian filmed entertainment industry, announced today that Eros Now, it’s cutting-edge digital over-the-top (OTT) South Asian entertainment platform, has entered into a partnership with Grofers, a leading Indian online supermarket. As part of the association, Grofers’ Smart Bachat Club (SBC) Annual Plan will now have access to Eros Now’s rich library of over 11,000 film titles, original shows and music videos. The offer is available to both, existing and new customers of Grofers SBC annual pack subscribers, which is currently priced at 449 Rupees per year.

    Launched in January this year, Grofers Smart Bachat Club, is the first of its kind and now the biggest loyalty program in the grocery segment. The membership-based service enrolled 50,000 members within the first two weeks of its launch and currently has over 500,000 subscribers. The program gives consumers access to over 3,000 products at wholesale prices. Apart from this, Smart Bachat Club members get special discounts and cashback offers during sale days including exclusive bank offers. The subscribers are also eligible to avail lower prices when they shop for dairy, fruits and vegetables and pharmacy at offline stores that are part of the Smart Bachat Club network.

    MUMBAI: Eros Digital CEO Rishika Lulla Singh has bagged an award for her proven leadership in the industry. Under her guidance, Eros International’s digital venture has touched new milestones as wells as contributing close to 25 per cent of Eros’ overall revenues.

    The leader, who has been instrumental in spearheading the growth and development of Eros Now, has won the award for ‘Women Leadership in Industry’ at the recently concluded ‘Times National Awards for Marketing Excellence’.

    “I am honored to receive this award and strive to influence other young talent in the industry. Having said that, the growth of Eros Digital is a combined effort and not achieved by one person. Eros as a company has always allowed me and my team the flexibility to work in an open environment and it is their fortitude and passion which allows such possibilities to turn into reality,” she said.

    Other than this prestigious award, Eros Now also won an award for the movie Munna Michael in the digital advertising award category. The movie won the award for Best Social Media Marketing Campaign.

    MUMBAI: While the FIFA fever has overtaken the world, over-the-top (OTT) platform Eros Now has launched an app dedicated to football lovers across the globe. The new app called Eros Now Betz has been launched in association with Dab Gaming.

    Eros Now Betz is available across Android and Apple devices. Allowing users to be a part of the on-going matches and experience victory as their teams also win along, it will increase the audience engagement. Users will be able to earn points for every correct prediction that they make while the matches are being played in real-time.

    MUMBAI: Eros International Plc (NYSE: EROS) (“Eros” or “the Company”), a leading global company in the Indian film entertainment industry, today announced that Eros Now, its cutting edge digital over-the-top (OTT) South Asian entertainment platform, has reached over 100 million registered users and 7.9 million paying subscribers worldwide as of March 31, 2018. This substantial growth in paying subscribers represents a 58% increase over the last reported quarter and a 277% increase from 2.1 million paying subscribers as of the fiscal year ended March 31, 2017.  The Company also today reiterated its previous guidance that its Eros Now paying subscriber base is expected to double over the next 12 months to approximately 16 million paying subscribers by fiscal year end 2019.

    Eros Now recently launched its first worldwide direct-to-digital original film, Meri Nimmo, in association with acclaimed director Aanand L Rai, to very positive critical reception. In addition, over the next year Eros Now is planning to launch a stable of feature films, made-for-digital originals films and over 20 original episodic programs, all of which will be available exclusively only on Eros Now to paying subscribers. Lucky winners stand a chance to win Rs. 1 Lakh everyday for a period of 30 days as part of the promotions which begin today.

    MUMBAI: Eros Now has become the first Indian OTT player to enter the South African market through a strategic partnership with telecommunications provider Telecel Global.

    As part of this partnership, Eros Now will be available to Telecel customers as a bundled service with their prepaid and postpaid data plans, IPTV and set-top box with multi-purpose quad service applications. Subscribers will now have access to Eros Now’s library of popular movies, music, TV shows, and originals. Eros Now will leverage on a committed number of annual paid subscribers from this association with Telecel.
