    RedFM names Sushant Singh Rathure deputy general manager–sales

    MUMBAI: RedFM has appointed Sushant Singh Rathure as deputy general manager–sales. Based in Delhi, he will lead special projects in the north, oversee government and PSU accounts, and head the UP cluster.

    Rathure, a business growth specialist with nearly two decades in advertising sales and brand partnerships, moves from Music Broadcast Ltd, where he was associate vice-president, running RC Digital Labs and Radicity. He previously held senior roles at Bharat Media Group, Sony Pictures Networks India, Star India, and The Times of India, with a track record in driving revenues, scaling media businesses and launching new formats.

    This is Rathure’s second stint at RedFM, where he earlier led sales for the Mumbai station between 2019 and 2022. He credited RedFM’s chief operating officer, Nisha Narayanan, for the opportunity, saying her “faith and leadership” would inspire him to deliver “with greater dedication and passion.”

    A seasoned strategist with regional and national exposure, Rathure is known for building alliances, managing P&Ls, and blending creative solutions with sharp media planning. At RedFM, he returns to familiar turf, this time with a wider remit and higher stakes.

    Mumbai: Yes Securities, in partnership with RedFM, announces the launch of “We Love Wonga!” – An initiative aimed at enhancing financial literacy among the youth, particularly Gen Z. Through a series of engaging masterclasses and on-air broadcasts, the campaign seeks to educate and inspire young individuals on the importance of early-stage investments and smart financial management.

    With the term “Wonga” symbolizing money in colloquial language, the campaign aims to demystify financial concepts and encourage proactive decision-making regarding personal finances. The collaboration with RedFM, which is known for its extensive outreach and distinguished radio jockeys, broadcasted on-air teasers and advertisements, amplifying the campaigns’ reach and impact. Complementing the on-air campaign, Yes Securities conducted masterclasses at prominent colleges, featuring top-rated radio jockeys interacting with college students. These events served as an interactive platform for young minds to learn about effective investment strategies and financial planning from in-house experts.

    FOMEX, now in its second edition, is proudly presented by the Saudi Broadcasting Authority and represents an integral part of the Saudi Arabia Media Forum.     Dailyhunt & RedFM’s news platform Vibe Check garners 20 mn views

    Mumbai: Local language content platform Dailyhunt and RedFM have collaborated to launch a short-video news delivery programme called – Vibe Check. According to a statement, the platform has garnered a total of 20 million views since its launch a week ago.

    Vibe Check brings together popular RedFM RJs and Dailyhunt’s content repertoire to present news in a snackable short-video format. Inclusive Divyangjan Entrepreneur Association (Idea) – an association that works on creating livelihood opportunities for differently-abled individuals has joined the initiative as the ‘inclusion partner’ to enable the delivery of content to those with speech and hearing disabilities. 

    “We have witnessed the power of short-video in its ability to effectively communicate with users within a short span of time,” said Eterno Infotech executive director Ravanan N. “Leveraging this popular format to enable the effective delivery of news, Dailyhunt is excited to be collaborating with RedFM to launch Vibe Check, as we aim at engaging and empowering our users with newsworthy content. As we take on an inclusive approach towards content delivery, we are also glad to have Idea on board with us.”

    Dailyhunt has onboarded an interpreter from the Idea who will communicate the news in Indian sign language while co-hosting the program with the regular news anchor.
