    MUMBAI: Mukta A2 Cinemas has reopened its iconic venue at Vizag Centro Mall after a stunning makeover, launching with the highly anticipated Eid blockbuster Sikandar, starring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna.

    The three-screen multiplex has been transformed into a luxury movie destination. Step inside, and you’ll find chic interiors, a stylish lounge, and, most importantly, a whole new level of comfort. The outdated pushback seats are gone replaced by plush recliners and spacious sofas with extra legroom and superior cushioning.

    Technology has had a dramatic upgrade, too. Expect razor-sharp visuals with 2K Laser and 3D projection, and immersive Dolby Atmos surround sound that pulls you right into the action. Enhanced air-conditioning ensures a perfect viewing experience, even during packed summer screenings.

    Moviegoers can also indulge in a revamped gourmet menu featuring sandwiches, pizzas, wraps, burgers, and classic cinema favourites like nachos and popcorn buckets. Drinks include everything from filter coffee and cutting chai to iced teas and coolers.

    The reopening is perfectly timed, with Telugu cinema on fire this week. Nithiin’s Robinhood is off to a strong start, paving the way for Brotherhood of Robinhood, while MAD Square is drawing in the college crowd as excitement builds for MAD 3.

    MUMBAI: The night was electric, the beats were thunderous, and the legend himself, A.R. Rahman, took center stage for a grand musical celebration. The much-anticipated Chhaava album launch turned into an unforgettable spectacle, blending history, emotion, and melody. Produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films and directed by Laxman Utekar, the historical epic Chhaava is set to hit cinemas worldwide on 14 February 2025.

    With an ensemble cast featuring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, the event was graced by Utekar, Vijan, and the entire creative team behind the film. But the real showstopper? Rahman’s signature blend of soulful melodies and powerful arrangements that took the audience on a sonic journey through time and Maratha pride.

    The launch was nothing short of a musical blitzkrieg.     With Rahman’s music as the soul of the film, Chhaava promises to be a storytelling marvel. Kaushal embodies Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj with unmatched intensity, while Akshaye Khanna steps into the formidable role of Aurangzeb, setting the stage for an epic historical clash. Mandanna adds grace and strength as Maharani Yesubai Bhonsale, the queen of Swarajya, showcasing resilience and elegance.

    The ad films have been uniquely crafted using a blend of original Japanese animation with live action. The creative agency behind the campaign is Tilt Brand Solutions, while the anime segments were created by renowned anime studios in Japan, ensuring the authenticity of the craft and reinforcing Crunchyroll’s dedication to sharing Japanese anime with the world. Drive Inc. created the anime for the ad film with Rashmika, while the anime in Tiger’s ad film was created by ARECT, Inc. The films were overseen creatively by Crunchyroll’s creative services team. The background music in the ad film with Tiger is exclusive, produced by Donn Bhatt, and features rapper Jagsifat. The ad film with Rashmika has the song ‘Billo’ by Excise Dept.

Rashmika stands before the truck, perusing the menu with a mischievous glint in her eyes. Playfully engaging with the chef, Anirudh, she craves the bold flavors of Chettinadu and Madurai cuisine. Anirudh, in his signature style, creates a sizzling “Chettinadu fire parotta,” unleashing a steamy, aromatic spectacle. As Rashmika eagerly bites into the spicy dish, her eyes water, but undeterred, she craves more. With chili emojis in her eyes and a fiery tongue, she desperately seeks relief from the spice heat to relish the food again.
