    Popular web series – Hello returns with Season 3 on popular demand

    MUMBAI: Rejoice hoichoi fans! One of their top Original shows – Hello, starring eminent actors Raima Sen, Priyanka Sarkar and Joy Sengupta in lead roles will be returning with its 3rd season sooner than fans expected.

    The first season of Hello started streaming in September 2017, and it was hoichoi’s first Original content to start streaming on the app and website. After continuous requests from fans for the next season, hoichoi lavishly announced on their first birthday on 20th September 2018 that they will be renewing the Hello for a 2nd season, which will start streaming around end of December. 

    With tons of anticipation and presumption, fans waited eagerly to see how season 2 will progress. Judging from the immense positive response which poured in, hoichoi can humbly retort that they were not disappointed. However, the audience worried that they would again have to wait for another year to be treated to this drama-thriller. hoichoi decided to break all shackles and proclaim their return with the season 3 of Hello as soon as Puja 2019!

    Hoichoi to launch ‘Hello’ S2

    MUMBAI: Hoichoi began its journey with its first original web series titled – Hello and became an instant hit with audience giving raving reviews. Thus, began the string of numerous requests flowing in for season 2 which will start from December, directed by Soumik Chattopadhyay.

    Hoichoi on its first anniversary this year announced 30 original shows and 12 original films for 2018-2019 which included the most-anticipated season 2 of all shows – Hello.

    The official trailer starts off from where the first season ended, Anonyo (Joy Sengupta) is at the doorstep of his girlfriend Nina (Priyanka Sarkar), ramming hard on the door and demanding her to let his wife Nandita (Raima Sen) out. Once the door opens, the drama begins with judgements flooding round and about as he accuses both of having a lesbian relationship behind his back.

    The official teaser of Hello, which was released a week earlier, was trending No. 1 on YouTube for 72 hours straight.

    MUMBAI: UV News Media & Communication‘s 3 Bachelors is being readied to release all over India on 29 January.

    Directed by Ajai Sinha, the film is a story full of comedy, romance and confusion. It is a humorous take on respective love stories of two young bachelors and one young-at-heart bachelor.

    Produced by Pramod Sharma, the film has Sharman Joshi, Raima Sen, Riya Sen, Manoj Pahwa, Himani Shivpuri, Manish Nagpal, Master Salin, Master Kashish and Nigar Khan among others.

    MUMBAI: In its endeavour to cement the increasing global image of Bengali films, the organisers of the International Bangla Film Academy (IBFA) has decided to host its own award ceremony in Thailand from 9 to 11 June.

    Touted as the most glittering award ceremony to be held for Bengali cinema, the award will be given in 19 categories, with films released between 1 January and 31 December 2011 coming under the scanner, an IBFA spokesperson said.

    The best film nominations include critically acclaimed films like Baishe Shrabon, Icche, Noukadubi, Ranjana Ami ar Ashbona while actresses Konkona Sen Sharma (Iti Mrinalini), Raima Sen (Noukadubi), Sohini Sengupta (Icche) and Koel Mallick (Paglu) were among the nominees for best actor (female) category.

    Among the male actor nominees are actor-turned-director Anjan Dutta, Jishu Sengupta, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Rudranil Ghoshand Sabyasachi Chakraborty.

    Those nominated in the best director category are Anjan Dutta (Ranjana Ami ar Ashbona), Rituparno Ghosh (Noukadubi), Sandip Ray (Royal Bengal Rahasya), Anindya Bannerjee (Chaplin) and Shibuprasad Mukherjee (Icche).

    The awards were originally scheduled to take place from 9 to 11 March but postponed to June due to the Bangkok bomb blasts and cancellation of Kingfisher flights.

    MUMBAI: English movie channel Pix is branding this month as one of High Voltage.

    During the month its focus will rest on thrillers. It will air Eye Of The Needle on 10 January 2007 on Perfect 10. Viewers can also catch Kevin Spacey in a role that catapulted him to stardom in The Usual Suspects on 10 January 2007 also on Perfect Ten.

    The Big movie of the month is the muder mystery Basic Instinct with Sharon Stone and Michael Douglas on 15 January. More muder and mystery come courtesy Misery which saw Kathy Bates win an Oscar on 20 January at 8 pm.

    On the local front the channel airs 15 Park Avenue on 28 January 2006 at 8 pm. The film is followed by an interview with the director Aparna Sen. Interviewing Aparna is actor Raima Sen who gets the reticent director to talk about her journey as a filmmaker culminating in 15 Park Avenue.
