    Yardley London launches new campaign #Naturalfloralspa

    Mumbai: On Wednesday, Yardley announced the launch of a new commercial for its all-new range of floral essence shower gels. Aimed at young women, this new range provides a luxurious bathing experience synonymous with a floral spa.

    The commercial has been conceptualised by Contract Advertising, a Wunderman Thompson Group company and a member of the WPP Network.

    Yardley, with 250 years of legacy in fine fragrances, has continually evolved to remain true and relevant across generations. It believes in inspiring women to showcase their true potential and step up to be the best version of themselves.

    Wipro Yardley CEO Manish Vyas said, “While Yardley has always been known for its fine floral fragrances, through this new range of shower gels under the floral essence sub brand, we intend to bring forth the goodness of floral ingredients apart from the fragrance.”

    Sharing the inspiration behind the commercial, Contract Mumbai general manager Ayan Chakraborty said, “When you hear of a spa-like experience, something that is invigorating and indulgent immediately comes to mind. This is the thought that we used to launch Yardley’s range of floral essence shower gels. The fragrance uplifts you instantly, and the floral oils work on the skin. It is like being in a spa everyday.”

    Adding to this, Contract Mumbai executive creative director Rahul Ghosh explains the approach and the creative thinking behind the ad, “Yardley is a passkey to a world of fragrance and freshness. And in this film, we showcase how its shower gel can transform a daily ritual into a magical moment.”

    The floral essence shower gels will be available at the nearest stores and on e-commerce platforms for Rs 225 for 250 ml.

    MUMBAI: Assistance and Protection Company, OneAssist has forayed into home appliances, with the launch of HomeServ.

    HomeServ is India’s first comprehensive protection plan which allows customers to protect all their key home appliances in just a single plan.

    In the digital ad campaign #RakhoSambhalKe, featuring popular stand-up comedian Rahul Subramanian, who takes on the avatar of a various appliances tv, ac and washing machine) , to narrate the various issues the appliances face in their daily functioning. This digital film series narrates the brand offering with a subtle humour urging users to keep their appliances protected.

    OneAssist co-founder Subrat Pani says, “The campaign is a refreshing approach which showcases the various issues our appliances face in their routine functioning, due to the quirks of their owner. We chose this route of stand-up comedy as we believed that it’s a subject which needs explanation and not preaching. The videos continue to be seen, liked and shared on YouTube & multiple social media platforms and have already garnered over 15 million views.”

    Contract Advertising senior VP and senior creative director Rahul Ghosh adds, “A disruptive product needed a disruptive idea. We wanted to create content that made a point without sounding alarming. We thought that the idea of playing agony uncle to appliances could be quite entertaining and conversation-creating. Once we had that, getting Rahul Subramanian on board only helped in pushing it further.

    HomeServ is primarily into home assistance and protection against electrical and mechanical breakdowns, burglary, fire and other perils for appliances on which consumers are most dependent on. The service covers daily essential appliances like panel televisions, air conditioners, washing machines, microwave ovens, refrigerators, OTG, air purifiers, water purifiers, air coolers, dryers, dishwashers, food processors, geysers, kitchen chimneys and vacuum cleaners and covers appliances even up to 10 years old.

    Contract appoints Rahul Ghosh as VP and senior CD

    MUMBAI: Contract Advertising has appointed Rahul Ghosh as vice president and senior creative director at its Mumbai office.

    Contract Advertising NCD Ashish Chakravarty said, “Rahul and I had a short but glorious run together back at Euro RSCG, Delhi, in the early 2000’s. We won some big accounts, few metals, and had a whale of a time while at it. He has grown into a leadership role since then, and created a solid body of work along the way, including my favourite ‘Manu-Ranjan ka baap’ commercial for SET Max. So I am delighted to have him on board.”

    Prior to this, Rahul was the group creative director at TBWA, Mumbai. This is Rahul’s second stint at Contract, who comes in with an experience of 17 years. In his new role, he will be leading a creative team and will be reporting to Kapil Mishra.

    “Contract is going through an exciting phase – a new belief, new team and new buzz. There is a place where it wants to be and getting to bat in a line-up led by Ashish Chakravarty was an offer that was difficult to refuse,” said Rahul on his joining Contract.
