    Srijan Shukla & Pratheeb Ravi join Publicis Worldwide India as heads of creative

    Mumbai: Publicis Worldwide India, the full-service creative agency from Publicis Groupe India, has strengthened its creative team by appointing Srijan Shukla and Pratheeb Ravi as creative heads. The duo will be based out of Mumbai. Their mandate would be to reinvigorate and amplify creative offerings while delivering integrated solutions that effectively solve the client’s business challenges.

    Commenting on the new additions, L&K Saatchi & Saatchi and Publicis Worldwide India CEO Paritosh Srivastava said: “Publicis Worldwide India has created some memorable campaigns over the years for many brands like Zee, Nerolac, Škoda, Heineken, HDFC MF, Maggi, Maruti and many more.     Pratheeb Ravi joins Publicis Worldwide India from Ogilvy India, where his last role was as group creative director. He has also had fruitful stints with other agencies, including Lowe MENA & Contract Advertising, where he managed creative work for clients across a host of sectors, including telecom, FMCG, travel & tourism, OTT, retail, etc. Some of the brands he has worked on include Tata Sky (which was rebranded to Tata Play), Maaza, Minute Maid, Tata Salt, Ferrero, Nutella, Cadbury Unity Bar, Unilever OMO, Lifebuoy, Axe, The Economist, ICC T20 World Cup, HotWheels, Westside- Retail fashion, Unilever Hamam, WildStone Deodorants, Tata Indicom and Club Mahindra Holidays to name a few.

    Srijan Shukla joins the agency from Ogilvy India, where his last role was as group creative director. He has also worked for a number of agencies, including DDB Mudra, Leo Burnett, and Tilt Brand Solutions, where he was instrumental in facilitating creative work for a wide range of clients in industries such as automobiles, Fintech, Broadcast Media, OTTs, DTH, Banking & Finance, Fantasy Games, Retail, FMCG, and others. Some of the prominent brands that he worked on include Tata Sky (now Tata Play), Dream11 IPL campaigns, Maaza, Minute Maid, Sony LIV launch, Zee rebranding, IPL for Sony Max, etc. He was instrumental in the rebranding exercise of Tata Sky to Tata Play and also for Dream 11—”Yeh apna game hai” and “Yeh game hai mahaan” campaigns.

    MUMBAI: Zenith India, the media agency under Publicis Groupe India has appointed Trishul Bhumkar as its managing partner.

    Trishul will be reporting to Jai Lala and will spearhead business growth and momentum for Zenith India and its clients. He will strengthen client relationships further and mobilise with agility Publicis Media services including Content, Data, Analytics, Activation and Trade to maximise opportunities, visibility and ROI for brands.

    He brings with him a wide spectrum of experience on pedigreed brands including Coca-Cola, Vodafone, Marico, Danone, Pepperfry and Disney. His previous stints include Madison, erstwhile Maxus and GroupM Motivator and most recently saw him as Strategic Business Unit (SBU) head for Motivator (West).

    Publicis Groupe India appoints Hari Krishnan as managing director & head of content

    Mumbai: Publicis Groupe India on Thursday announced that it has further strengthened its fast-growing content practice with the appointment of Hari Krishnan as managing director and head of Publicis Content.

    Publicis Content is a strategic ‘horizontal’ practice which can be tapped into by any Publicis Groupe agency brand to deliver custom-created, multi-channel content solutions for brands. Its solutions span across content insight & strategy, social & influencer marketing, media content partnerships, publishing, and innovation in the metaverse and web 3.0.

    Krishnan’s role involves bringing data-driven insight, platform content strategy, creative excellence, and seamless delivery to the rapidly expanding field of branded content. He will lead the Groupe’s expert teams of dedicated content specialists, as well as shape further the Groupe’s creative products, particularly around advice to brands about how to participate in culture.

    He is a seasoned leader with a breadth of experience across creative, media, and integrated agencies, as well as most recently at his own strategic innovation consultancy, CultureDrum, where he collaborated on content innovation territories such as AR and gaming with India’s leading media agencies; co-created ‘Virtual Bharat,’ a culture-content channel; and worked with several start-up businesses on brand strategy and storytelling.

    Prior to CultureDrum, Hari was managing director Zenith India; chief operating officer Cheil Worldwide; country head global team blue at WPP and executive director JWT. He has led large global brands such as PepsiCo, Samsung, Ford, and Nestlé.

    Publicis Groupe announces top management rejig at BBH India

    Mumbai: Publicis Groupe India on Tuesday announced that it has appointed Dheeraj Sinha as chairman of BBH India, in addition to his existing mandate as Leo Burnett South Asia CEO and CSO. Partnering with Sinha will be Russell Barrett as BBH India CEO and chief creative officer. Subhash Kamath moves into an advisory role for the group on other strategic initiatives.  

    Russell Barrett has been with BBH for 12 years now and has been instrumental in making BBH India a creative powerhouse, winning several accolades including Cannes Lions, One Show Pencils, Andys, Spikes, D&ADs and London Internationals. Dheeraj Sinha comes in with 22 years of experience and under his leadership, Leo Burnett India has become one of the most recognised and awarded agencies on the world stage, said the agency in a statement. The new appointments signify the Group’s focus and investment on its creative brands.

    Publicis India appoints Amaresh Godbole as CEO – digital tech business

    Mumbai: Publicis Groupe India on Wednesday announced the appointment of Amaresh Godbole as CEO of digital technology business. In this role, Godbole will be leading the digital experience and technology agencies Digitas India and Indigo Consulting. He will also be responsible for scaling up the Publicis Commerce D2C offering.

    The role will report to Publicis Groupe South Asia CEO Anupriya Acharya and both Digitas India CEO Unny Radhakrishnan and Indigo Consulting MD Jose Leon will work closely with Godbole, said the company in a statement.

    “The last two years have seen an acceleration in technology adoption and companies across sectors are grappling with the need to deliver more contemporary customer experiences and improve critical business processes,” remarked Anupriya Acharya. “We have an opportunity to accelerate further our unique digital technology offerings in India and unlock new avenues, bringing in exponential growth for clients. In Amaresh, we have someone who deeply understands the Publicis way of working and also brings an outside-in view of technology trends and the wider industry from his time with Google.”

    Prior to this, Godbole was associated with Google India as head of creative and capability, and he also has a history of over a decade with Publicis Groupe where his last role was Digitas India CEO.

    Roopesh Pujari elevated as CTO at Publicis Groupe India

    Mumbai: Publicis Groupe India has elevated Roopesh Pujari to the position of chief technology officer. 

    In this role, he will steer the development of all technology capabilities across the company in India including expansion of cloud solutions, platform integration, capability and capacity building and streamlining partners. “He will work closely with the India leadership team and his priorities will include stronger cohesion of specialised teams across the group agencies and practices, acceleration of both bespoke and enterprise projects that sharpen client success,” said the company in a statement.

    “Given the rapidly evolving landscape around 5G, web 3.0, metaverse, NFTs, blockchain, crypto and the like, technology roadmap is central to the success of any business. The new role will aid us in futureproofing our organisation as well as enabling the right support to client strategies,” said Publicis Groupe South Asia CEO Anupriya Acharya. “Roopesh not only brings the right experience and competence but comes in with an exemplary track record from within our organisation.”

    Pujari comes with 25 years of IT leadership experience in product design/development, core system transformation, enterprise architecture, program management, process improvement and services management across various domains – BFSI, manufacturing, consulting, publishing, aviation/airlines, healthcare. A mechanical engineer from Karnataka University, he is also a qualified MBA and MS in strategic finance from Indiana University, USA.

    Before joining Publicis Media in March 2019, he had worked extensively both in India and the US with organisations such as Apple, Pfizer, Dell, the US Army, Mondelez, etc. He also has rich experience in hiring and ramping up teams in both the US and India.
