    Mahindra Group names Pramuch Goel as VP & head – group comms

    Mumbai: Multinational business conglomerate Mahindra Group on Wednesday announced that it has elevated Pramuch Goel as VP and head – group communications, with immediate effect. He will report to Mahindra Group’s chief customer and brand officer and member of the group executive board Asha Kharga,

    In his previous role, Goel was a strategic communications head for auto and farm sectors. He takes over from Varsha Chainani, who has decided to pursue opportunities outside of the Mahindra Group. “The group communications team and communications heads of businesses will report to Goel,” said the company.

    “Pramuch is an accomplished brand and communications leader who has been part of the Mahindra Group for several years, working and contributing to various businesses. At Mahindra, it has always been our endeavor to nurture and promote talent and I am very pleased to see him grow and further his career with us,” said Asha Kharga. “I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Varsha Chainani for her contribution to the Mahindra Group and wish her the best for her future endeavors,” she added.

    Goel has been with the Mahindra Group for over five years and has previously worked for sectors including Mahindra Lifespaces, Mahindra Holidays and Mahindra Partners. He was also responsible for the IPO communications of Mahindra Logistics. 

    He has 25 years of experience in brand and communications function and has worked with top global companies including Samsung Electronics, Cisco Systems, and IBM.

    Mumbai: Lyxel&Flamingo (L&F), a Gurugram-headquartered digital-first marketing agency on Tuesday announced major restructuring of its leadership team. The company has elevated six homegrown leaders as new partners to further strengthen the focus on scaling its business pan-India.

    The company’s partner comprises of Nishant Singh (creative director – copy), Nishit Mohan (head of technology), Shivam Singh (team lead R&D), Hitanshu Gupta (solutions architect), Upesh Verma (head of e-commerce) and Ashish Sharma (delivery head). “The six newly-minted partners have already spent more than half a decade with the company and have risen through the ranks to now lead very important and profitable businesses within the L&F fold,” said the statement.

    The four original co-founders, Dev Batra (CEO), Yesh Miranda (CCO), Shreyansh Bhandari (COO) and Priya Batra (director – people strategy and growth), shall dilute as much as 20 per cent of their equity in order to help more than 30 leaders within their company become partners over the next three years in an industry-first restructuring and organisation building process, said the company in a statement.

    Mumbai: Integrated marketing agency Grapes has elevated Shradha Agarwal to the position of chief executive officer. She takes the baton from Himanshu Arya, who will move to a more strategic role within Grapes. 

    Agarwal’s role will be instrumental in leading and expanding the business for the company while overseeing the overall operations, across the agency’s three offices in India – Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore, said the company in a statement. 

    She will be based out of the agency’s headquarter in Delhi and will manage the overall business and operations of the company, it added.

    “In 2015, Shradha joined me and we launched Grapes Digital, now Grapes, and since then there has been no looking back,” said Grapes founder Himanshu Arya, speaking on the appointment. “She has been key to the agency’s success.     VMLY&R India elevates Pooja Jauhari to group CEO

    Mumbai: Global brand and customer experience agency VMLY&R on Wednesday announced the appointment of Pooja Jauhari as chief executive officer, VMLY&R India across its group of companies. Based out of the agency’s Mumbai office, she will report to VMLY&R Asia co-CEO Tripti Lochan, who is based in Singapore.

    Jauhari takes over from Anil Nair, who is moving on to pursue new opportunities. Nair joined VMLY&R in 2019 from Law & Kenneth Saatchi & Saatchi India, where he was CEO (digital) and managing partner. VMLY&R first welcomed Jauhari in 2020, as the CEO of The Glitch. The independent creative agency was acquired by WPP in 2017 and integrated into the VMLY&R network in November 2020.

    In this new role, she will oversee the agency’s combined operations, including VMLY&R, The Glitch, VMLY&R Commerce and GTB, across its three offices in India – Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai – plus its service of clients across the Indian subcontinent, said the statement.

    She is also tasked with further integration of the network’s creative excellence in India, with its very strong customer experience, commerce and data capabilities, into an integrated powerhouse focused on human centricity, diversity, inclusion & high performance, it added.

    Mumbai: Cashify, a homegrown app for selling old gadgets has elevated Siddhant Dhingra as a co-founder and chief business officer- global markets, Akash Chauhan as chief operating officer (COO) and Shubh Darpan is now chief revenue officer (CRO). The following move comes in view of further strengthening its leadership team to scale up the business and pave the way for the next phase of growth.

During his tenure, he strategised and drove the entire device journey from order placement, customer support, order fulfillment and liquidation.     Aksh Chauhan joined Cashify as VP for logistics and has been working with Cashify for the last 6.5 years. With his self-driven entrepreneurial leadership skills, he has aided in building Cashify’s robust supply chain network for better control and efficiency to support rapid growth. In his new role, he will be leading Ooperations at Cashify and focus on building the ecosystem for a circular Eeconomy in the used smartphone category.

    Shubh Darpan has been working with Cashify for the last 4.3 years and played an integral role in redefining business with a strong data-led approach. His skills in pricing, customer acquisition & growth, data analytics & BI have led Cashify to grow on a limitless road of profit. In his new role, he will be in charge of pricing, growth & revenue with the primary focus on building the D2C channel for refurbished mobiles.

    In this role, he will steer the development of all technology capabilities across the company in India including expansion of cloud solutions, platform integration, capability and capacity building and streamlining partners. “He will work closely with the India leadership team and his priorities will include stronger cohesion of specialised teams across the group agencies and practices, acceleration of both bespoke and enterprise projects that sharpen client success,” said the company in a statement.

A mechanical engineer from Karnataka University, he is also a qualified MBA and MS in strategic finance from Indiana University, USA.

    Before joining Publicis Media in March 2019, he had worked extensively both in India and the US with organisations such as Apple, Pfizer, Dell, the US Army, Mondelez, etc. He also has rich experience in hiring and ramping up teams in both the US and India.
