    JioStar ropes in Nidhi Maheshwari as senior brand manager

    MUMBAI: JioStar has appointed Nidhi Maheshwari as senior brand manager for brand marketing strategy at JioHotstar, following the recent transition of Disney+ Hotstar operations to JioStar in India.

    Maheshwari, who moved to JioStar in December 2024, has been instrumental in the platform’s relaunch strategy. In her previous role at Disney+ Hotstar, she served as senior marketing manager for content marketing, where she led several successful campaigns including the award-winning launch of The Night Manager which achieved record awareness scores with optimised marketing spend. The campaign secured gold at the 2023 Promax Asia awards.

    Her experience includes launching streaming platforms in India, having previously led Lionsgate Play’s market entry in December 2020. Her career spans roles at major consumer brands including Parle Agro, where she managed the Appy Fizz portfolio and key partnerships including Bigg Boss, and Unilever’s Lakmé division, where she handled fashion week marketing and strategic alliances.

    In her current role, Maheshwari is spearheading JioHotstar’s brand expansion initiatives across entertainment, sports, and regional content segments as the platform establishes itself under new ownership.

    Shemaroo Entertainment claimed the spotlight as the night’s biggest winner, securing 12 golds and 6 silvers awards. Following closely behind were Disney Star with 5 Gold and 6 Silver awards, along with Colors Bangla and various Zee regional channels such as Zee Biskope, Zee Bangla, and Zee Tamil, among others, clinching multiple awards for their exceptional work.

    ZEE sweeps Promax Asia & Digital Reinvent Awards 2023 clinching 15 awards

    Mumbai: Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL), India’s leading content company, has swept the Promax Asia and the Digital Reinvent Awards, bagging a remarkable nine gold awards and six silver at the 2023 edition, for its unparalleled creativity and exceptional work in brand-defining campaigns.

The winning streak continued with their captivating ‘IPL Combat Campaign’ winning gold and ‘Neem Phuler Modhu’ launch campaign securing silver in the coveted Digital Brand Campaign of the Year award. The IPL Combat campaign’s success extended further with a silver in the Delivery on a Dime category.

    Zee Bangla’s ‘Neem Phuler Modhu’ launch campaign securing gold for “Organic Use of Social Media,” while the ‘Mother’s Day Campaign’ earned silver in the same category. Additionally, ZEE5’s ‘Taj: Divided by Blood Official Trailer’ also grabbed a silver under ‘Best in Promotion & Marketing: Trailer’ category.

    Mumbai: Promax India has announced the second Digital Reinvent show – ‘OTT and Digital Marketing Innovation Conference and Awards’ for 2021. The event will be held virtually on 8 October.

    The speakers for the event will include leaders, content and business heads from MX Player, SonyLIV, Discovery+, VOOT, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, hoichoi, Eros Now among others.

    “The OTT platforms have triggered perhaps the greatest transformation in the Indian media industry.   • ESS clinches four awards at Promax Asia

    MUMBAI: ESPN Star Sports (ESS) clinched two Gold and two Silver awards for its in-house on-air campaigns at the recent Promax Asia Awards that honours the industry‘s best communications campaigns.

    The sportscaster has won a total of 14 awards during the year which includes four at Promax International USA and six at PromaxBDA Awards India.

    ESS MD Peter Hutton said, “It‘s excellent that our creative team have received further recognition for their consistently high level of original work.”
