    Priyanka Rishi joins Taproot India as GM

    MUMBAI: Taproot India has appointed Priyanka Rishi as its general manager. She will be reporting to CEO Umesh Shrikhande.

     

    “To be a part of an agency that has set benchmarks for the industry is professionally stimulating and exciting. I look forward to building on Taproot’s strengths and work ethos to create an even stronger organisation,” said Rishi.

     

    With more than 16 years in the business, Rishi in her earlier journey has had long stints with Ogilvy and JWT and brings with her solid cross category experience.

     

    Shrikhande said: “With so many interesting opportunities for adding value to our clients’ businesses and brands, Priyanka is a welcome addition to our talented team.  She is passionate about both strategy and creativity and comes with a deep and insightful understanding of brands. Infusing our team with such strong talent will further the process of adding depth and sparkle to brand Taproot.”

     

    She will be based in Mumbai.

    Mudra West appoints Priyanka Rishi as senior VP

    MUMBAI: Mudra West has roped in Priyanka Rishi as senior VP to overlook its FMCG and infrastructure verticals.

    Apart from this, Rishi will also help with new business developments of the office. She will report to Mudra West president Arijit Ray.

    The agency’s FMCG clientele list includes Godrej, HCC, Incredible India and Emami.

    Rishi joins Mudra West from Asset Care Advisory, where she was managing partner and was on the board as director.

It’s re-defining the way agencies have traditionally seen themselves, be it with such high level of capabilities they have built across communication platforms and media, to the kind of talent programs and policies they have evolved.     Rishi started her career in 1996 with Ogilvy, Delhi where she worked on clients such as Electrolux Kelvinator, Kentucky Fried Chicken and Satyam Cineplex.

    In a career spanning nearly 15 years, Rishi has also worked with agencies such as Publicis Ambience, and JWT. She has worked on various market categories and a wide array of clients such as Pond’s Skin Care, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation and Coca-Cola India.

    Ray said, “Priyanka coming on board is another step towards bringing quality talent to strengthen the senior leadership team at Mudra West. Her well rounded experience across a wide spectrum of brands and categories in the best agencies will really augment the leadership of our FMCG and infrastructure vertical.
