Mumbai: If there’s one thing, we know about the world of Mirzapur, it’s that loyalty is prized above all else. And now fans get to prove their loyalty to Mirzapur’s very own ‘Guddu Bhaiyya’. For the release of Mirzapur Season 3, Prime Video has given fans a direct line to the show’s character through WhatsApp where they can now become his right hand!

Prime Video announces blockbuster entertainment line-up for Prime Day 2024

Mumbai: Prime Video has unveiled an exciting selection of 14 highly anticipated Indian and international series and movies in five languages for Prime members in the lead-up to Prime Day 2024 on 20 and 21 July. Customers can enjoy the highly anticipated Season 3 of the mega Indian Original series Mirzapur (Hindi) that premieres on 5 July with the battle for the throne of Mirzapur intensifying even further this season, as well as the global blockbuster Original series The Boys (English) Season 4 that has fresh episodes dropping every week all the way up to Prime Day. With both the series available with subtitles and dubs in multiple Indian languages, customers across the length and breadth of the country can enjoy the blockbuster shows in a language of their choice.

Prime Day celebrations kicked off weeks in advance on Prime Video with keenly awaited movies and series like the documentary Federer: Twelve Final Days (English) that follows Roger Federer in the last twelve days of his professional career, dystopian thriller Civil War (English), social drama PT Sir (Tamil), the critically acclaimed Naach Ga Ghuma (Marathi), heist comedy Gam Gam Ganesha (Telugu), historical Original series My Lady Jane (English), direct-to-service comedy drama Sharmajee Ki Beti (Hindi), and action comedy entertainer Inga Naan Thaan Kingu (Tamil). Prime Video launches Crunchyroll on Prime Video Channels in India

Mumbai: Prime Video has launched Crunchyroll, the ultimate destination for anime worldwide, on Prime Video Channels, increasing access to some of the most popular anime content for fans in India. Prime members can now purchase an add-on subscription to Crunchyroll at ₹79 per month, gaining access to over 800 anime titles, including the latest shows and movies, some of which will be available for viewers in India in multiple languages, immediately after their release in Japan.

With a subscription to Crunchyroll on Prime Video Channels, Prime members can enjoy more than 40 new shows from the new anime season, including the new sci-fi monster series Kaiju No.8, the fan-favourite series Black Butler – Public School Arc, which returned nearly ten years after its original run, Solo Leveling, Demon Slayer -Hashira Training Arc- and many more. Select shows and movies will also be available in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, in addition to English.

Prime Video celebrates Father’s Day with a heartfelt campaign

Mumbai: Prime Video has launched a fun video to celebrate International Father’s Day. In a tongue-in-cheek manner, the film brings to life one of the most common habits of dads across India – falling asleep in front of the TV! Featuring celebrated singer Shaan, singing a melodious lullaby for fathers watching TV and struggling to keep their eyes open because of a long day, the film uses humour to encourage fathers to take a break, snooze and enjoy their favourite Prime Video shows another day!

In the film, Shaan through his magical lullaby reaches out to every type of dad, from the middle-aged, overworked father, the exhausted new, millennial dad, to the elderly grandfather, each one wanting to nap but not wanting to miss out on family time when watching Prime Video. Prime Video’s marketing triumph: Panchayat Season 3 and the humble ‘lauki’

Mumbai: Prime Video, India’s most loved entertainment destination, has once again turned heads with yet another unique marketing campaign for its upcoming Amazon Original series Panchayat season three, launching on 28 May. Following closely on the heels of a highly successful first round of a hybrid marketing campaign undertaken for the grand unveiling of the premiere date of the series, Prime Video came up with yet another novel promotional idea. Panchayat’s iconic mascot – lauki – was seen in a new and unique avatar; as giant inflatable balloons.

This campaign highlights how brilliance often lies in simplicity, turning an underestimated vegetable into a captivating symbol that grabs everyone’s attention and generates intriguing conversations, and not just Panchayat fans. The lauki’s makeover parallels the series’ narrative, where seemingly ordinary elements take on extraordinary significance. The three-day marketing campaign, carried out from 25 to 27 May, saw these gigantic lauki-shaped inflatable balloons stamped with the Panchayat premiere date, atop taxies, roaming across Mumbai, Delhi, and Jaipur. These Lauki balloons were also placed in popular public locations, creating huge buzz and anticipation about Panchayat and its new season’s premiere date. From 25 May onwards, Mumbaikars spotted them at Juhu beach and Carter Road and Jaipur residents saw them at the iconic Raj Mandir movie theatre. The video showcases moms from all around effortlessly donning their entertainment hats; it’s like they just know. The adorable video portrays their innate ability to make us laugh, cheer and entertain. They instinctively know how to pull out all the stops, reminding us all of our childhood days! What makes the campaign unique is how it takes a simple idea to convey the thought about the multitude of responsibilities that mothers quietly shoulder. It’s a recognition long overdue amidst the myriad distractions life has offered us.

Sharing her thoughts on the campaign, Bare Bones Collective COO Swati Dua, said, “I’ve been a comic, a singer, a dancing monkey, I’m constantly looking for new ways to keep my son engaged. If you really think about it, mothers are the OG improv artists, and we are really grateful to Prime Video for allowing us to celebrate our first entertainer”
