    EaseMyTrip Adds “Activities” to Its Bouquet of Services

    NEW DELHI: EaseMyTrip.com, has launched ‘Activities’ on its [platform] that allows travelers to book tickets to an amusement park, staycations at resorts, cruises, boat tours and microlight flying.

    In addition to the services offered by the Company, this new service allows users to book travel experiences from on our website through their desktop / mobile site or the mobile application. Customers visiting domestic destinations including Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Goa and international destinations like Dubai, Prague, Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Singapore, London, Paris and New York are able to get information about major tourist attractions of these cities. They have an option to choose from a variety of activities at these locations including adventure sports, water sports and cruises.

    Talking about the new service addition, Mr. Prashant Pitti, Executive Director, EaseMyTrip, said, “We have added ‘Activities’ in our array of service for allowing the travelers visiting a place to explore some of the best and most popular attractions. These are fit for those visiting a place for either business or personal purposes with little time to spare without having to wander at places and rely on tour guides. Such activities can offer travelers experiences at their destinations and aim to enhance their trip.”

    He further said, “All the activities available on our platform can be booked separately but can also be clubbed with the tour packages provided by the Company on special demand of the customers.”

    Albeit crude humour ‘Grand Masti’ collects Rs 82.6 cr in two weeks

    MUMBAI: The past week saw as many as five new releases, all sans face value and due promotions. Of the lot, the only one to show some figures for its three day run is Warning 3D/2D. The film has collected Rs 2.60 crore.

    The other four releases, Maazii, Raqt – A Rishta, Prague and Supermodel have all bombed badly leaving no trace.

    Phata Poster Nikhla Hero, starring Shahid Kapoor and Ileana D‘Cruz, will fail to recoup its investment from the box office with the film’s lack of public appreciation showing starkly on its collection figures. The film has collected Rs 28.5 crore in its first week.

    The Lunch Box, starring Irrfan Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Nimrat Kaur, which had opened with first day collections barely crossing Rs 1 crore, has earned much appreciation translating into revenues as the film ended its first week with figures of Rs 10.25 crore.

    Grand Masti is the only film doing well its off-colour humour notwithstanding. The film which did excellent in its first week, has maintained well even in its second week by adding Rs 17.9 crore and taking its total to Rs 82.6 crore.

    Shuddh Desi Romance has collected Rs 1.2 crore in its third week thus taking its three week tally to Rs 46.45 crore.

    NEW DELHI: Prague by Ashish R Shukla which has already done a global festival circuit round is being released on 6 September.

     

    The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) had raised objection to one song from the film –Bottal khol. Composed by Tony Kakkar and sung by Neha Kakkar and Tony, the number got held up at the CBFC, resulting in delay of the film’s release.

     

    Under the banner Glamour Struck Productions Prague had been conceived and produced by Rohit Khaitan and made in association with Maxwell Entertainment. Directed by Ashish R. Shukla (creative head – Dev D), it stars Chandan Roy Sanyal, Elena Kazan, Arfi Lamba and Mayank.

     

    The Music is by Atif Afzal and some other guest composers, Lyrics by Varun Grover, Sound by Sanjay Chaturvedi, Editing by Meghna Manchanda Sen, Action by Parvez Shaikh, Art direction by Siddharth Mathawan & Mrinal Das, DI & VFX by Reliance Media Works.

     

    For the first time, three music companies – Crescendo (earlier known as BMG Crescendo), Universal Music and Times Music is releasing the music of the film.

     

    The album of Prague has more than 25 sound tracks and background pieces based on several themes which will spread on digital platforms and retail chains worldwide. Prague audio CDs are now available at all music stores.

     

    Prague is a city with a history of heritage, myth and superstition. The film shows a passionate architect with hang ups and delusions about love and life, a Czech gypsy girl looking for her identity and love, and a mean friend. All of them come together, interfering, manipulating, coaxing and torturing each other as their search for peace, freedom and love continues.

     

    This film is a psychological thrilling ride which takes one to the darkest corners of the mind, the shut down alleys of the soul and the graveyard of the heart.

    MUMBAI: Rohit Khaitan‘s ‘Prague‘ will hit screens across India on 2 August 2013. The music of the film will be released by three music companies – Crescendo (earlier known as BMG Crescendo), Universal Music and Times Music.

    The music companies want to promote the music of the film and have hence requested the producers, Rohit Khaitan and Sunil Pathare to push the release date of the film by a week. The album of Prague will have more than 25 sound tracks and background pieces based on several themes which will spread on digital platforms worldwide by the three music companies.

    Under the banner Glamour Struck ProductionsPrague is helmed by Ashish R. Shukla and stars Chandan Roy Sanyal, Elena Kazan, Arfi Lamba, Mayank Kumar and Sonia Bindra.     Kiefer Sutherland indicates plans to make ‘24’ into a movie

    MUMBAI: The action packed show 24 which airs in India on AXN and in the US on Fox is going to make the transition to the big screen.

    In an interview to the BBC, the star of the show Kiefer Sutherland said, “We’re working on the film. We are really excited about it.”

    On BBC One’s film show Friday Night with Jonathan Ross Sutherland spoke about his Golden Globe award-winning role as counter terrorist agent Jack Bauer in the show. Each season of the show takes place in a 24 hour period. Each episode represents an hour in Bauer’s life.

    Filming will start next year. The shoot, he says, will take place in London and Prague.
