    ‘Main Aur Charles’ to release on 26 June

    MUMBAI: The Randeep Hooda, Richa Chadha and Adil Hussain starrer Main Aur Charles will release on 26 June, 2015.

     

    Main Aur Charles is a crime thriller and a biopic of the infamous conman Charles Sobhraj. It tells the story of the 1970’s ‘Bikini Killer’ and also captures the Tihar jail break of 1986.

     

    Directed by Prawaal Raman, it is presented by Wave Cinemas’ Ponty Chadha, produced by Raju Chadha, Amit Kapoor and Vikram Khakhar.

    Pooja Bhatt teams up with Ponty Chadha for Jism 3 and Cabaret

    MUMBAI: After the success of Jism 2 that meant a successful collaboration of Pooja Bhatt and Fish Eye Network Pvt Limited and Ponty Chadha and Wave Industries Pvt. Limited, the two have got together to produce Jism 3 and follow it up to make Cabaret.

    Jism 2 is a complex love triangle where a woman is trapped between her long lost emotions for her ex-lover Kabir and Ayaan‘s growing fondness for her which she too, at times, reciprocates. Later, the film goes to show how porn star Izna kills her emotions for Kabir to save the nation.

    While Jism 3 will release in the winter of 2013, Cabaret will release soon after. The cast and credits of both the films will be finalised soon.

    Wave Cinemas opens multiplex in Haridwar

    MUMBAI: Wave Cinemas, promoted by film distributor Ponty Chadha, has launched its first multiplex in Haridwar (Uttarakhand) at Pentagon Mall.

    Having three screens with a total capacity of 864 seats, the plex promises to provide exceptional digital film watching experience to cinegoers with high-end seats and a kids zone. Pricing is also economical with ticket prices ranging from Rs 100 (Monday-Thursday) to Rs 130 (Friday- Sunday).

    Commented manager of the multiplex Yogesh Raizada, “With this launch, Wave Cinemas now has seven multiplexes. The other six are based in Delhi, Ghaziabad , Noida, Lucknow, Moradabad and Ludhiana.”
