    Zing brings ‘Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya’ season 13

    Mumbai: Zing’s flagship show Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, also popularly known as PTKK, is geared up for its season 13, which starts on 22 October. The show, with 12 seasons and over 200+ episodes under its belt, will continue building a strong legacy of romance with nuanced tales of love that resonate with gen-z.

    The theme for this season is “Har Love Hai Khaas,” which is aligned with the present-day dating landscape. This season brings together love stories from different perspectives, which will be a perfect blend of passion, emotions, complications, true love, and friendship.

    Since its debut in 2014, the show has gained traction with stories about young people dealing with various aspects of love and romantic relationships. Immersive storylines, relatable characters, and a new cast and story for each episode ensured that PTKK stayed in the hearts of its viewers.

    Popular TV stars such as Parth Samthaan, Surbhi Jyoti, Shivangi Joshi, Mohsin Khan, Priyank Sharma, Mansi Srivastava, and Niti Taylor have been part of this show over the years. The unmissable anthem of Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, sung by singer Jubin Nautiyal, is the soul of the show, which has made it to the playlist of every PTKK fan.

    Balaji Telefilms takes positive steps after actor tests Covid2019 positive

    MUMBAI: Television actor Parth Samthaan, who is best known for his role in Balaji Telefilms' Kasautii Zindagii Kay, tested positive for Covid2019 on Sunday. The actor shared the news on Instagram and revealed that he was showing mild symptoms but with doctors' guidance, he is self-quarantining at home.

    Balaji Telefilms COO Ketan Gupta tells indiantelevision.com that the production house is strictly following all the SOP measures and guidelines laid by the government. He mentions that people’s safety and security is the most important thing for Balaji Telefilms.

    He informs that Samthaan tested positive when he was at home and not at the set. He says, “The moment we got to know that Parth Samthaan has tested positive for Covid2019, we immediately packed up the entire unit, as well as sanitised it. We called an ambulance so that everybody in the unit can have their swab tests done. Apart from the crew, we are also doing tests for actors who have recently interacted with Parth. The results are awaited. In the meantime, our production house will be closed for three days for sanitisation, cleaning, fumigation and other measures.”

    He further explains that the studio will be closely monitoring the people who were present on the set to ensure that they are safe. Gupta clarifies that even if a similar situation arises in the future, the company will not replace the main leads. “We will bring changes in the storyline until he is back. We have around eight to nine episodes in the bank,” he adds.

    Meanwhile, Ekta Kapoor and Balaji Telefilms have released an official  statement. It reads: “We would like to inform various stakeholders that one of our talent from the show ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ has tested positive for Covid2019 and is now receiving medical attention. Our first priority is to help protect our talent, production crew and employees. We are taking all the precautions detailed in the guideline. We were and will continue following all medical protocols set by the authorities and have implemented guidelines concerning social interactions, hygiene, travel and visits to the sets.”

    Television actor Karan Patel who will be essaying the role of new Mr Bajaj in Kasautii Zindagii Kay reboot and his immediate family members will also get tested for Covid2019.

The glittering gala was held on 20 March 2019 in Mumbai and the presence of almost every known television star clearly demonstrated why indiantelevision.com’s  The Indian Telly  Awards are referred to as Indian television’s biggest and most entertaining awards.

    Indiantelevision.com aired the awards ceremony differently this year. It partnered with Zee Entertainment Enterprises’s Zee5 OTT platform to stream the entire evening live which was hosted by the extremely engaging and fun-loving TV star quartet of Nakuul Mehta, Karan Tacker, Meiyang Chang, and Gunjan Utreja. Moreover, charming actor and presenter Jay Soni hosted the red carpet and curtain raiser.

    The awards night kicked off with celebrities thronging the ceremony in their most glamourous avatars. The event was graced by the who’s who of the television industry, including Divyanka Tripathi, Vivek Dahiya, Parth Samthaan, Erica Fernandes, Vikas Gupta, Hina Khan, Anita Hassanandani, Mohit Malik, Hunar Hali, Jennifer Winget, Aditya Chopda, Dheeraj Dhoopar, Shradha Arya, and many others.

    The four stellar hosts entertained the audience with their sizzling bromance, spontaneous humour, and goofiness. Their infectious energy and hilarious one-liners won the hearts of all present. So much so that close to 400 stars and their colleagues the venue way past midnight when the awards ceremony concluded with more than 57 awards, including jury, fans choice and TellyChakkar.com Editor’s Choice statuettes being given away to the most deserving of performers on screen in calendar year 2018.     ‘Kasauti Zindagi Kay’ season 2 to return on Star Plus

    MUMBAI: One of the love sagas by Ekta Kapoor, Kasauti Zindagi Kay is all set to hit the small screen after 17 years. The third longest running show from the K-series is back again on Star Plus. Produced by Balaji telefilms, the show successfully ran for seven years with Shweta Tiwari as Prerna, Cezanne Khan as Anurag Basu and Ronit Roy as Mr Bajaj.

    Recently, the first promo of Kasautii Zindagii Kay was released. The promo features Erica Fernandes as Prerna in the show, while the male lead will be played by Parth Samthaan.

    On this, Ekta Kapoor used social media to convey that “Love never dies!!! When you think it’s over, it returns! Here it is Kasauti Zindagi Kay!”

    Kasauti was one of the most successful shows, not just for Balaji Telefilms but also Star Plus. The channel, which is currently facing a hard time owing to low ratings, has been brainstorming on ideas to get its audience back. It may be difficult to imagine new faces in these roles. But as hinted by Ekta in the post, the rebooted version will also be an emotional drive and audience will love this season as well.

    MUMBAI: Zing is all set to launch the fourth season of its popular show Pyar Tune Kya Kiya (PTKK).

     

    The new season will go on air from 17 April at 7 pm and will see PTKK in a fresh outlook, be it the content or the talent. Parth Samthaan and Smriti Kalra will be seen in this season of 13 episodes, which is set in a college.

     

    Zing channel head Vishnu Shankar said, “The journey of PTKK has been exciting for us. We are glad that we have a dedicated audience for the show that connects directly with the youth and their perception. PTKK has maintained a strong top ranking consistently with the viewership multiplying manifolds resulting into the show being the leader in the 7 pm slot. In our endeavour to keep the show real and engaging, all the stories in Season 4 will have certain realism, which will enable our audiences to easily relate to them. With the new season, the quality of the content and performances promises to be more refreshing than ever before.”
