    Mumbai: Leading content companies Jio Studios, Humble Motion Pictures and Panorama Studios, have announced the teaser of their highly anticipated third installment of the heart-warming family drama, Ardaas Sarbat De Bhale Di. Superstar Gippy Grewal made his directorial debut with Ardaas, the first film of the franchisee. The success story continued with the second instalment, Ardaas Karan. The ambitious, Ardaas Sarbat De Bhale Di promises to be another success story. Scheduled to hit theatres worldwide on  13 September 2024. Ardaas Sarbat De Bhale Di is produced by Gippy Grewal, Ravneet Kaur Grewal, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Divay Dhamija.

    The launch of the first look poster had got the audiences excited for the teaser which was unveiled at an event in Chandigarh today in the presence of the entire cast.

    The teaser introduces an ensemble cast coming together to offer Ardaas, a heartfelt prayer. It gives a glimpse into the lives and struggles of the cast, showing the burdens they carry. The narrative exemplifies the importance of offering Ardaas, demonstrating how this act of devotion can provide solutions and solace for many of life’s challenges.

    Expressing his excitement on the film’s teaser release, Gippy Grewal actor, writer, director and producer, stated “This film has always been close to my heart, as it was my debut as writer & director And coming together with panorama and Jio studios have been such a blessing for all of us. It is often said that so many energies get in sync for any film. This collaboration proved to be some sublime energy for us all, we felt it and the audience will feel it too.”

    The film boasts a stellar cast alongside Gippy Grewal, including Jasmin Bhasin, Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi, Prince Kanwaljit Singh, Malkeet Rauni, and Raghveer Boli.

    Mumbai: The critically acclaimed Telugu film Razakar, which debuted in March 2024, is now poised to reach a pan-India audience with its upcoming release in Hindi and Marathi. Set against the turbulent post-Independence era in India, ‘Razakar’ narrates the harrowing period when Hyderabad was a princely state, under the shadow of the brutal Razakar militia.

    Director Yata Satyanarayana, who has not only directed but also penned the story and screenplay, expressed his enthusiasm about the film’s wider release. “I am aware that a large section of my audience have been waiting to see the film in Hindi. I am thrilled that we can now showcase it not only in Hindi but also in Marathi,” stated Satyanarayana. He confirmed that both the Hindi and Marathi versions are set to be released on April 26 by Panorama Studios.

    The film provides a gripping narrative of the genocide undertaken by the Razakars, a paramilitary group loyal to the Nizam of Hyderabad, which committed mass murders and spread terror among the populace. This dark chapter prompted Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the then Home Minister, to initiate swift actions that culminated in the historic Operation Polo, leading to Hyderabad’s annexation into the Indian Union. ‘Razakar’ also explores the political manoeuvres of Hyderabad’s last Nizam, Osman Ali Khan, and his attempts to maintain independence, providing a comprehensive view of a pivotal moment in Indian history.

    Satyanarayana emphasised the quality of the new versions: “The dialogues of the Hindi and Marathi versions will be as evocative as those in the Telugu original. We are committed to ensuring that the film is re-mastered with the finest quality for its pan-India release.” The distribution of the film across the nation will be handled by Panorama Studios, promising a widespread reach. As ‘Razakar’ prepares for its release across India, it invites audiences to witness a crucial period of Indian history, portrayed with cinematic excellence and historical accuracy. The film’s broader accessibility in Hindi and Marathi is set to ignite discussions and broaden its impact, reaching into the hearts and minds of viewers across the nation.

    MUMBAI: Fresh from the success of Khuda Haafiz, Panorama Studios has expanded its footprint in the country by opening an office in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The huge milestone comes for the leading production and  distribution house after having produced over 50 films in Hindi and other regional languages and distributed over 500 films in multiple languages across India and overseas.

     The new office is an addition to the existing three offices (in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore) that Panorama Studios operates from, within India. It has been established in Ahmedabad for the production, marketing & distribution of Gujarati films as an addition to their existing slate of releases.

    Panorama Studios, in association with VCS Industries Limited, will jointly run operations in order to provide the said services to the producers & exhibitors of Gujarat with the expertise available locally. The entity will offer a wide range of services including production, distribution, marketing, social media marketing, online and offline PR, publicity design & audiovisual campaign, P&A support, co-production support, in-film branding, co-branding for ready films, etc.

    MUMBAI: Panorama Studios is launching its first web-series titled Bar Code in partnership with One Digital Entertainment. The series will have 10 episodes and will be shot in real nightclubs in Mumbai.

    Speaking on the new tie-up, Panorama Studios producer and MD Abhishek Pathak said ”With the current web-series space being heavily cluttered and with most of them being imitations of one another, we at Panorama Studios were on the lookout for something clutter-breaking and something that would stand out, and in Bar Code we found the right script which deals with the fascinating world of Bombay’s nightclubs, making it very exciting for us to to be launching it as the first web-series out of the variety of other web-content being developed at our studio.”

     “Bar Code looks closely at what goes on behind the scenes in one of the most glamorous businesses in the world. The plot has an interesting hook, the characters, humor and the drama are very relatable while the whole look and feel will be very upscale and chic. The treatment of the music will have an interesting mix of EDM, Bollywood and Deep House, which should connect with youth segment across the country”, added writer-director Vignesh Shetty.

    The casting process is underway and renowned actors are being considered to play the male and female leads. Production will begin in mid-June 2016.

    MUMBAI: The Ajay Devgn starrer Drishyam, which is directed by Nishikant Kamat, has been declared tax free in the state of Uttar Pradesh (UP).

     

    The film got a go-ahead for the supplementary budget proposal and was declared tax free in the state at a recent cabinet meeting.

     

    Having Drishyam declared tax free in a major state like UP, which is a huge market for the distributors, watching the movie will surely help facilitate and increase the viewing access for the common people of the state.

     

    Meanwhile the movie continues to stay steady at the box office.
