    MUMBAI: Zee Telugu is tuning up for a melodious ride as it launches the 17th season of its iconic singing reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, this time in the Li’l Champs avatar. The musical journey begins on 30 August at 9 pm, with fresh young talent ready to steal hearts every Saturday night.

    Fronting the show is the ever-charismatic Sudheer, whose quick wit and charm promise to keep the energy buzzing. Guiding the contestants is a star-studded panel: singer SP Shailaja, director Anil Ravipudi, lyricist Ananth Sriram, and actor Niharika Konidela each bringing their own flair for music, cinema and storytelling. Together, they’ll mentor the budding singers while keeping audiences hooked with insights and banter.

    The line-up of contestants is as vibrant as the stage itself. Advith turned heads with a spirited take on Chaaruseela, complete with a comical American accent, while Kruthi charmed with a soothing rendition of Kokilamma. Nithyasree electrified the crowd with Magallu Vatti Maayagalle, and Aliya Fathima from Kerala proved that music knows no language barrier with her soulful Sirimalle Poova. Meanwhile, Adharv amped up the festive vibe with Dhandalayya, and Lakshmi Chowdary wowed with her jaw-dropping dual voice modulation. A surprise highlight came when singer Sameera Bharadwaj and her daughter took the stage for a playful mom-daughter duet of Kathalenno Chepparu, blending melody with comedy.

    With a mix of powerhouse voices, pint-sized confidence, and a panel that knows how to strike the right chord, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs promises to be less of a contest and more of a celebration of music, childhood and pure joy.

    MUMBAI: The festival of Ugadi brings families and loved ones together to ring in the New Year and celebrate new beginnings. This unique day is marked by day-long festivies, symbolizing the beginning of Telugu Calendar. Leading GEC Zee Telugu celebrated this festival with much enthusiasm this year, with an all exclusive event ‘Babu Gari Intlo Butta Bojanam’ with Nagababu, Anasuya Bhardwaj, Niharika Konidela and Tarun Master among others. With sensational performances by the stars from the channel, the event will be telecast on Sunday, 22nd March from 10 AM, only on Zee Telugu and Zee Telugu HD.

    Zee Telugu’s most cherished anchors, Pradeep Machiraju and Ravi added to the entertainment quotient by hosting this exceptional event. Pradeep and Ravi took this opportunity to welcome the stars, bringing them together to celebrate the festival with a blend of fun activities and traditional games along with a unique set of performances by the stars.

    There was a surprise element in the show when Anushka Shetty, made an unexpected appearance. Not only was she seen playing pranks with Anchor Ravi but also joining in the festivities with others. Additionally, there was a splendid act by Raghu Master and Johnny Master along with Chandra which had the special guests in splits.

    The festival celebration included the Ugadi lunch with the Nagababu, Niharika Konidela, Tarun Master, Raghu Master, Johnny Master and the beautiful Anushka Shetty who fed ‘Laddu’ to Pradeep and Ravi. The festive lunch had a variety of mouthwatering dishes such as Poornalu, Pootarekulu, Gaarelu, Pulihora, Ugadi Pachadi, Ulaava Chaaru, Pappu Chaaru, Gutthivankaya Curry and Challa Mirchi among other delicious food platters.

    The event also consisted of many fun games. Niharika Konidela performed a skit with ‘Gully Boys’, from the Adhirindi team. Anchor Ravi’s performance with his daughter made Nagababu and Niharika emotional along with the rest of the Zee Telugu family.

    The episode also includes an exceptional performance by Anasuya Bhardwaj on the journey of Mahanati Savitri which was applauded by the Zee Telugu Kutumbam. Additionally, Bithari Sathi’s attempt to woo the beautiful Anushka with the ‘Jejamma’ song from her film Arundhati impressed Anushka so much that she confessed to being his biggest fan.

    Zee Telugu to premiere ‘Adhirindi’- comedy reality show on 22 Dec

    MUMBAI: Zee Telugu is all set to launch its latest comedy reality show Adhirindi on 22 December at 9 pm. The weekend show is a reality talent hunt for the next generation of comedy stars. Zee Comedy Show 2007, Zee Comedy Club 2011-12, Family Circus 2014, and Comedy Khiladilu 2017 are a few successful shows that have built a special place in the hearts of the Telugu audiences. 

    The cast of Adhirindi went LIVE with a curtain raiser on 15 December.  This is a brand-new show where comedy superstars, and the audience will get together every weekend to elect a new generation of comic geniuses. 

    Sameera Sherief will debut as the anchor for the unique show that includes the popular Nagababu as the judge or shehensha. The participants, selected from auditions, will be split into four teams which will each be led by Dhanraj, Venu, RP and Chandra, where they perform comical skits to amuse the ‘shehensha’. Adding to its uniqueness, the team members will receive the opportunities of being exclusively hand-picked by the said team leaders, for the first-time-ever in the history of comedy shows in South India. The selection criterion would include electing individuals possessing distinct dialects from across the State, embracing the wit that every dialect has to offer.

    The show comprises of a missed-call campaign where every episode will consist of audience voting along with the judges’ points that determine the course of ‘Adhirindi’. Starting from the 4th episode, votes of the audience will be displayed and updated on the leaderboard on a weekly basis, however, the scores of the jury will only be unveiled in the finale of the show.

    The very first episode will witness Nagababu's daughter, Niharika Konidela as the walk-in judge. Heightening the entertainment quotient for the night, Raj Tarun made a special appearance for the promotions of his film Iddari Lokam Okkate, and performed in one of the skits that left the audience splits.

    The champion of the show will be pronounced through a division of audience vote (50%) along with the votes of the judges (50%). The show guarantees to provide pure laughter and an enjoyable ride where we collectively embark on a journey of ushering in a new generation of comic sensations.
