    Haresh Nayak takes charge as regional head, Posterscope

    MUMBAI: Haresh Nayak has been appointed as the regional director for out-of-home (OOH) specialist Posterscope in Asia Pacisic by Dentsu Aegis Network.

     

    Nayak will report to global CEO Annie Rickard and Ashish Bhasin, who will take on the role of chairman of Posterscope and PSLive Asia Pacific, along with his other responsibilities as chairman and CEO, Dentsu Aegis Network south Asia.

     

    As managing director of Posterscope India, Nayak built it from a start-up to a market leading player in just six years, and a significant profit contributor to the Group’s Indian business. He will continue with his responsibilities in India, but will work across the region to ensure Posterscope has a consistent proposition with market leading products and a maximised trading position.

     

    On his new role, Posterscope Asia Pacific regional director Nayak said, “I am extremely delighted to take on this role. Posterscope in the region has a strong presence and I am looking forward to building on this and offering clients specialized and differentiated out-of-home offerings.”

     

    Dentsu Aegis Network Asia Pacific CEO Nick Waters said, “Haresh has a proven track record of success in his home market of India.     Nayak has spent over 15 years in the OOH and media industry and has broad experience in OOH, retail, research and management. He started his career at Prime Outdoors (a division of Primetime-IP Media Services). Prior to joining Posterscope India, he held the position of Business Director and National Buying Head at Aaren Initiative. Under his leadership, Posterscope Group launched Posterscope India in 2008.

    Aegis Media and Dentsu Network join hands to create Dentsu Aegis Network

    MUMBAIFrom 1 January 2014 Aegis Media and Dentsu Network combined to form the Dentsu Aegis Network. Together they form the first truly global communications network for the digital age, in 110 countries worldwide with over 22,000 dedicated specialists.

     

    Nick Waters will lead Dentsu Aegis Network in Asia Pacific and will be responsible for the management of the business and the development of network, specialist and local brands across the region.

     

    With over 5,500 employees in China including associates, full integration in China will begin in 2015. Until then, Aegis Media and Dentsu Network will continue to work in parallel, managed by Phil Teeman CEO Aegis Media China and Motohiro Yamagishi CEO Dentsu Network China.  KF Lee will take the role of Chairwoman Dentsu Aegis Network China working across the two businesses.  Motohiro Yamagishi will additionally lead the Dentsu agency brand across North Asia.  Rohit Ohri will lead the Dentsu agency brand across the rest of the region – Asia Pacific South.

     

    Luke Littlefield will lead Dentsu Aegis Network Australia and New Zealand as CEO and Rob Hughes, Dentsu Aegis Network North Asia. Ashish Bhasin is appointed CEO Dentsu Aegis Network South Asia and Dick van Motman takes leadership as CEO for the group in Southeast Asia.

    Aegis Media acquires China’s Trio Digital

    MUMBAI: Aegis Media acquired Trio Digital Integrated, a full-service digital agency in China.

    The acquisition will see Trio rebranded as Trio Isobar and become part of the Isobar China group, which already includes wwwins Isobar and OMP.

    Chris Chen will continue as CEO and executive creative director of Trio Isobar, supported by general manager April Chang and deputy general manager Britney Pai.

    Commenting on the acquisition, Aegis Media Asia Pacific CEO Nick Waters said, “Trio is a top class digital marketing agency with high quality creative credentials. Bringing Trio into the group adds another dimension to our market leading digital capabilities in China. This is an exciting move and we welcome Chris and his team to the company.”
