    News18 Punjab launches ‘Voter Bolda Hai’ contest to capture pulse of voters

    Mumbai: Elections are largely about people and it is thus important that the voice of people is heard. News18 Punjab has given the people of Punjab one of the most credible and powerful platforms to speak up their minds and issues during elections – ‘Voter Bolda Hai.’ 

    The 15-day contest will ask viewers from different constituencies to raise their opinion by giving a missed call and selected viewers will then get a chance to feature on News18 Punjab to talk about the key issues that they think are most critical in these elections. The best entry every day will be gratified with a smartphone, said the channel in a statement.

    To make it further impactful the campaign also has an election special vehicle that will travel across every nook and corner of Punjab asking honest opinions of voters and featuring ground-level issues that will determine their choice in the forthcoming elections. 

    The van also has a ‘Muddeyan Di Peti’ in which people can drop in the issues that matter to them to be put across. News18 Punjab strives to echo the voice of the people and uncover elections insights.

    The contest will be Live till 19 February.

    News18 PHH to host ‘Rising Punjab 2021’ on 9 Dec

    Mumbai: News18 Punjab/Haryana/Himachal (PHH) will host its conclave ‘Rising Punjab 2021’ on 9 December from 10 a.m till 8.30 p.m. The event will be held at the JW Marriott hotel in Chandigarh.

    The day-long initiative has been curated to set the stage with the most pressing subject matters, expected to rule the agenda for Punjab, in the year 2022. The event will be attended by politicians, influencers, and celebrities where top voices of the State will express views, debate rationally and provide solutions that will lead to the betterment of the states.

    The agenda for ‘Rising Punjab 2021’ is defined around the upcoming assembly elections in the states, along with other socio-political and economic issues. Leaders from across parties including the Congress, AAP, BJP, PLC, SAD & SAD (Sanyunkt), are expected to participate. The panels will feature prominent names in Indian politics like CM Charnjit Singh Channi, Captain Amarinder Singh, Bikram Singh Majithia, Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, and Bhagwant Mann amongst others.

    Other attendees at the conclave include union minister Som Prakash, deputy CM Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, deputy CM OP Soni, minister Pargat Singh, Parminder Singh Dhindsa Raghav Chadha, Harjit Grewal, Surjit Kumar Jyani, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Sidhu Moosewala, actor Sonu Sood, social activist Malvika Sood and many others.
