    Mumbai: News18 Bangla recently hosted the second edition of the Leadership Conclave in Kolkata on 11 March 2024. The event aimed at recognizing and celebrating the individuals and institutions who have made remarkable contributions to the growth of West Bengal. News18 Bangla honoured these individuals and institutions for creating new opportunities and strengthening the infrastructure.

    News18 Bangla Leadership Conclave was organized in association with the Rotary Club of Calcutta Inner City, which helped to shortlist the awardees by forming a jury board. The members of the jury were Mr. Pradeep Gooptu, the former editor of Business Standard; Mr. Anindya Palchowdhury, Founder and CEO of Welta Family Office; Mr. Krishna Kumar Modi, Founder Director of Phoenix Machines Pvt Ltd; Mr. Nabarun Sen, President of Century Ply Board; and Ritesh Kapoor, Director of KK Craft & Engineer Consultant Pvt Ltd

    Apart from the celebrations the ceremony also featured five panel discussions, where eminent personalities, experts, and stalwarts explored the many challenges faced by the state and the potential solutions for these hurdles.     Mumbai:  News18 Bangla has launched a 360-degree ad campaign to highlight its dominance in the Bengali news segment. As part of the campaign, a full-page front jacket ad was released in all editions of Bartaman Newspaper on February 12.     The multimedia campaign includes several out-of-home ads strategically placed in Kolkata’s popular locations such as Park Street, Shyambazar Crossing, Ruby, Howrah and Sealdah stations, Dakshineswar Temple vicinity, Maa Flyover and Alipore Zoo, among others. The campaign has also been amplified across trade media platforms and promoted through branding placements in Kolkata’s popular movie theatres.

    News18 Bangla’s dominance in Bengali news has been further underscored by its achievement in the digital space. According to the digital viewership data by Comscore, bengali.news18.com has received 4.39 million unique visitors in the month of December ’23, leaving behind competitors like Anandabazaar.com at 4.37 million, and ABP Live Bengali at 3.74 million unique visitors.     According to Crowdtangle and SocialBlade, News18 Bangla has garnered the highest combined views on Facebook and YouTube.     Mumbai: According to the recent Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) data, News18 Bangla has showcased remarkable week-on-week growth in its market share, surpassing ABP Ananda in both cumulative reach and the market share during the 8 am-8 pm time slot.  This consistent upward trajectory has firmly established News18 Bangla as the foremost leader in the West Bengal market.

    Showing commanding growth for the past seven weeks, News18 Bangla garnered a higher market share, surpassing Republic Bangla, TV9, and Zee 24 Ghanta by 50.6 per cent, 71.8 per cent, and 188 per cent, respectively. (Source: BARC, Market Share, Week 5’24, All India, TG:15+) All Day

    Mumbai: News18 Bangla celebrated the inaugural edition of Dashobhuja on 24 November 2023, at The Oberoi Grand, Kolkata. Dashobhuja is a revolutionary initiative launched by News18 Bangla that highlights the inspiring stories of women who have overcome adversity to make significant contributions to society.

    In its first edition, Dashobhuja showcased the real-life stories of 10 extraordinary women from various parts of West Bengal, recognizing and honoring their achievements.
