    Zee Biskope announces programming lineup for New Year

    Mumbai: Known for being the viewers’ first choice in Bhojpuri entertainment, Zee Biskope continues its unstoppable entertainment journey and welcomes the New Year with a slew of new blockbusters, world television premiers and film festivals especially curated to bring non-stop Bhojpuriya entertainment to the viewers throughout the month of January.

    Starting the new year with superstar Pawan Singh’s birthday on 5 January, Makar Sakranti on 14 January, the special lineup of films will continue till Republic Day. Going forward the quarter will also see original non-fiction and award IPs keeping the viewers hooked fair & square throughout.

    As an ode to the ardent Pawan Singh fans, the channel will showcase some of his biggest blockbusters on 5 January marking the birthday celebration of Bhojpuri power star and youth icon Pawan Singh throughout the day. The film marathon will include big titles such as “Tere Jaisa Yaar Kahan,” “Challenge,” “Mera Watan,” “Maa Tujhe Salam,” and “Pawan Raja.”

    Continuing with the festivities, next in the line is Makar Sakranti, a festival that holds immense value in the Bihar, Jharkhand and Purvanchal region. Marking the festival of love and hope, Zee Biskope brings a five-day film festival ‘Pyaar Ki Patang’ between 10-14 January. The festival will wrap up with the world television premiere of “Babul” starring Awdhesh Mishra and Neelam Giri with a storyline that is a complete family entertainer. All the films will be premiered under the primetime band at 6 p.m.

    The festivities will be followed by the biggest celebration of the month, Republic Day. The channel rejoices the day by saluting the brave hearts of Mother India– the veer Bhojpuriya jawans who uphold the nation and its sanctity as a republic. The audience can indulge in the day-long patriotic ride with the biggest superstars’ biggest films like “Dabang Sarkar,” “Border,” and “Commando Arjun.” 

    To top it up many folds, the channel brings a world television premiere of superhit film “Diler” that features superstar Nirahua and Akshara Singh in Jila Top band at 6 p.m rejoicing the day on a perfect note.

    That’s only for January. Going ahead, February will see a Valentine’s Day celebration with the world television premiere of “Balamji Love You” featuring Bhojiwood’s heartthrob, the hyperbolic romantic hero Khesari Lal Yadav with his leading ladies Kajal Raghwani and Akshara Singh. The blockbuster will be featured on 14 February at 6 p.m. The brand will also launch its V-Day special viewer engagement drive. If you think that’s the entertainment story for the quarter, you’re up for a surprise. Zee Biskope will bring to its viewers an original non-fiction and even the ever-popular international Bhojpuri Film Awards. All within March 2022. The channel will definitely grab viewer eyeballs with such a strong and clutter-breaking package including WTPs, film festivals, originals, award IPs and engagement drives.

    Ford India ushers in New Year with commitment to serve

    Mumbai: American multinational automobile manufacturer Ford unveiled its latest campaign ‘Committed To Serve,’ underpinning the company’s promise of continued parts, service, and warranty support to customers in India. The new campaign that debuted with a print ad on New Year’s aims to drive home the promise of ‘quality of service with a family wali feeling’ among other services.

    The 60-second digital and 30-second television spots that follow, also convey Ford’s Feels-Like-Family commitment message, using the power of emotional storytelling. The television ad spots will cover key genres like sports, entertainment, news, and films, stated the brand.

    The campaign seeks to highlight the automaker’s service features such as accessibility of service and spare parts across its network in over 240 cities, competitive cost of ownership and transparency with service and parts price calculator, the promise of extended Warranty, among others.

    The campaign #CommitedToServe film opens with the protagonist handing over the keys of her EcoSport to a Ford Service executive. The film then shows her enquiring if their old Ford Ikon can also be serviced, just to surprise her mother on her birthday. The Ford service person agrees instantly and then shows up in the evening, with both vehicles serviced and the old Ikon, decorated as new with a ribbon. The special ‘birthday’ gestures leave both women emotional and happy at their long-standing association with the car brand.

    The film concludes with a voice-over highlighting Ford’s commitment to serving with a family-like commitment.

    Restructuring operations to an asset-light business model, Ford plans to serve customers with its iconic vehicles, including the Mustang coupe, in the next phase of product introductions. Customers in India also look to benefit longer-term from the company’s plan to invest more than $30 billion globally to deliver all-new hybrid and fully electric vehicles, such as Mustang Mach-E, the company said.

    After almost three decades of its operations in the Indian market, The FordMotor Company announced shutting down passenger vehicle manufacturing operations at its two plants in the country in September last year. Moving forward, Ford India will focus on the sale of imported vehicles only it had stated then.

    Emami launches #EkJhappiForMe – a self-love initiative ahead of New Year

    Mumbai: Kolkata-based Emami Group has launched the new social initiative for its Boro Plus Body Lotion portfolio under the tag #EkJhappiForMe. The social campaign with the self-love theme was launched on Instagram with well-known dancer and choreographer Shakti Mohan spearheading it.

    With the growing need for good mental health and in keeping with taking time out for self-appreciation from our busy lives, the campaign emphasises the importance of the numerous small moments in our everyday lives and the need to appreciate oneself and the small victories one achieves in life, said the brand.

    The FMCG company aims to talk about the problems faced by today’s generation. Shakti Mohan shared a short video on Instagram that talks about the importance of self-care and self-love.
