    ABP News appoints Sant Prasad Rai as SVP of news & production

    Mumbai: ABP News has appointed Sant Prasad Rai as senior vice president of news and production.

    He brings with him an experience of over two decades. In his new role, Rai will be responsible for all content on ABP News.

    Rajiv Khandekar has been elevated as EVP – News & Production of ABP News and ABP Majha. Taking up the new position, Khandekar will be responsible for setting the editorial direction & chairing editorial meetings for ABP News.

    Talking about the appointments, ABP Network CEO Avinash Pandey said, “It is with great pleasure that I announce that Sant Prasad Rai is joining ABP News as senior vice president of news & production.     Cosmo First elevates Kulbhushan Malik as global business head of its films business

    Mumbai: The global business conglomerate Cosmo First on Tuesday announced the elevation of Kulbhushan Malik as the business head for their films business globally. Earlier, he was working as head of operations for international businesses.  

    He will be responsible for devising strategy on operations and business growth.

    Malik brings over 24 years of experience with diverse experience in general management roles with P&L responsibilities, business development and finance roles with a demonstrated record of working in the manufacturing industry.

    Prior to joining Tata Nexarc, Ohri was the deputy general manager at Dabur India. He joined the company as head of digital marketing.

    Ohri founded ‘afaqs! Campus,’ a digital marketing education venture that has coached over 2,000 marketing professionals from leading companies and institutes. He is the author of the series of books titled “The Curious Digital Marketer.”

    His LinkedIn profile read, “He has won around 35 awards (including team awards as well) at national and APAC level for digital marketing work for brands.”

    The Top 100 Digital Marketer Awards in India featured Ohri twice. In 2020, he received the Top 100 Smartest Digital Marketer award from ET NOW & World Marketing Congress. He has also won the title of Top 100 Digital Marketer from Paul Writer PluralSight in 2017.

    Prior to this promotion, she was serving as the vice president of marketing for Schneider Electric India.

    Nagaraj brings with her over two decades of experience across brand, consumer and retail marketing for established brands as well as start ups, advertising, product and segment development and entrepreneurship in segments such as consumer non-durable products and information technology & energy management.

    She was associated with Schneider Electric India for the last five and a half years. She shared the update on her new role via a LinkedIn post. It read, “I am happy to announce that after 5.5 years I commence a new journey at #schneiderelectric . From the Head of India Marketing I move to the position of a Global Head of Marketing for our Home Business. Exciting and challenging times ahead.”

    Mumbai: Creative, data, and digital media powerhouse Kinnect on Thursday announced the appointment of Ankur Garg as Executive Creative Director-Art. Garg will handle operations for the company’s Delhi and Bengaluru offices. He will be based in Delhi and report to Kinnect national head-design Priyanka Mestry Soni.

    Garg brings with him 15 years of experience and has worked with agencies such as Lintas, JWT, Hakuhodo, FCB ULKA and Dentsu Impact, with experience working on some of the notable brands such as Indian Army, NACO, Airtel, ESPN Star Sports, Sony, Monte Carlo, Airtel, Docomo, Indian Super League (Delhi team), Hitachi, Antara Senior Living, Max Healthcare, NetFlix, Herbalife Nutrition, IKEA, Subway, Carlsberg, HT Media, Parryware and Vmart.

    Ashwani Rana appointed as chief public policy officer of Zupee

    Mumbai: Mobile gaming platform Zupee on Thursday announced the appointment of Ashwani Rana as the chief public policy officer.

    He brings with him an experience of around three decades of senior leadership and his work is widely acknowledged in the area of Internet and telecom policies and regulations.

    Prior to his new role, Ashwani was associated with Meta as director of public policy for more than six years. Before Meta he was with Bharti Airtel for more than a decade as their chief regulatory office (operations). He has worked closely with top trade organisations in the country and headed many committees there. Over the years, he has led numerous policy initiatives at company and industry level. He holds Master’s in Business Law, Public Policy and Management.

    Congratulating Ashwani Rana on joining the organisation, Zupee founder and CEO Dilsher Singh Malhi said, “We are delighted to have Ashwani on board.     Mumbai: IVM Podcasts has on boarded veteran media professionals, Meghnad S. in the role of creative director (non-fiction) and Safura Ubaid as the network’s creative director (fiction). Both the hires come with a prolific track record and will work in their respective areas of expertise, to elevate the business.

    As creative director (non-fiction), Meghnad S. will actively seek concepts and oversee every stage, right from conceptualisation to execution of content in the non-fiction genre.  

    The podcast network has a wide array of non-fiction podcasts including finance, political, current affairs, and sports to name a few.     Sandeep Ranade joins Hansa Research as EVP & quantitative research head

    Mumbai: Hansa Research has appointed Sandeep Ranade as the executive vice president (EVP) and national head of quantitative research.

    Sandeep was working with Kantar as executive director and head of media in South Adia. He brings with him an experience of 27 years of working in the research industry. He has extensive experience in FMCG, telecom and the media sectors across brand, creative and media domains. He has also led teams across locations to help clients build their brands and solve their critical business issues.

    In his professional journey, he has led multiple global studies including developing a windows-based software for analyzing NRS (National Readership Survey) 1995 data with a team of software developers. He was also the team lead for setting up a panel for monitoring lubricant usage in trucks (2003-2004) and also transitioned customer satisfaction study for a large telecommunication client in Africa (across sixteen countries).
