MUMBAI: Laminar Tiles’ latest brand campaign, The Waltz, has waltzed its way past 60 million views and clocked over 75 million impressions across platforms proving that even the flooring under your feet can be fabulously cinematic.

Crafted by Mumbai-based integrated agency Beanstalkasia, the campaign spins a compelling tale of love, luxury and lifestyle all set on the glistening canvas of vitrified tiles. Starring Nepali stars Aayushman Deshraj Joshi and Niti Shah, the film features a rhythmic dance through a sleek modern home, subtly flaunting Laminar’s key features: brilliant shine, durability, anti-skid safety, scratch resistance and easy cleaning.

Lumbini Ceramics Managing Director Ashutosh Khetan said, “With The Waltz, our aim was to go beyond the product. We were interested in showing how Laminar tiles fit into everyday life and create joy through the solutions offered. By blending creativity, storytelling, and a multi-platform strategy, we have successfully positioned Laminar Tiles as a lifestyle brand. This campaign has allowed us to successfully communicate our values to our consumers and position ourselves as a competitive force in the market.”

With The Waltz, we adopted a digital-first approach, leveraging social media and influencer collaborations to create a strong emotional connection with our audience. By building early momentum online, we ensured that the campaign resonated with viewers before expanding into theatres and traditional media. This campaign is a testament to Beanstalkasia’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of brand communication, and we are proud to raise the bar in Nepal’s evolving media landscape.”

But The Waltz is not just a visual treat it’s also a digital masterclass. Beanstalkasia’s digital-first strategy tapped into early buzz via Instagram collaborations, user-generated content and partnerships with over 10 Nepali mega influencers. The result? Organic traction, enthusiastic shares, and a campaign that was trending even before it hit theatres, LED screens and outdoor locations.

  • Tele-connectivity: Nepal’s dependence on India to end in Feb

Tele-connectivity: Nepal’s dependence on India to end in Feb

MUMBAI: The sole dependence of Nepal on India to connect with global telecom services will end soon. The commercial operation of Nepal-China optical fibre link is set to begin in February. The Nepal-China trans-border connectivity project via Rasuwagadi (Nepal) is in the final stage of completion, as per Nepal Telecom (NT) officials.

Following the commercial operation of new optical fibre network, Nepal will be connected to the world via Hong Kong through China Telecom. Nepal, at present, is only linked to other countries through Indian telecommunication companies via different optical fibre connections at Biratnagar, Bhairahawa, and Birgunj, etc., The Himalayan Times reported.

In December 2016, Nepal Telecom and China Telecom had signed a pact to deliver internet protocol (IP) service in Nepal with terrestrial cable route (TCR) connecting the two nations. From February, internet service would become cheaper and more qualitative in Nepal.

NT deputy spokesperson Shovan Adhikari said that the process of laying optical fibre along the determined route had been completed. However, recent heavy snowfall on the Chinese side caused some of the fibres to break in certain areas, which resulted in delay in launching the project.

However, Adhikari said that the commercial operation of the cross-border optical fibre network was likely to begin from February as the Chinese authorities expedited the process of repairing the damaged lines after clearing the snow.

Before starting commercial operations, NT is expected to launch a confirmation testing of the project. The company had tested the operation of the optical fibre network interconnectivity with the neighbour last year.

Wild Frank – Adventure In India

MUMBAI: “It took twenty intense days to find a Bengal tiger. That was one of the real fights of the century,” said Frank Cuesta. The popular Spanish TV presenter, tennis coach, adventurer and wildlife expert Frank Cuesta traveled to the banks of the Ganges River in India and Nepal to embark “in the wildest and amazing journey of my life.”

Myths and legends surround the Bengal tiger. Often the majestic big cat is reputed as a cannibal and a man-eater. But is there any truth in such horror stories? The fact – – the species is endangered and is threatened due to human intervention. It is estimated that less than 2,500 tigers live in the wild in Asia. To learn more about the Asian big cat, adventurer Frank Cuesta embarks himself on the trail of majestic tiger. His journey takes him from the Himalayan foothills in Nepal, through the dry forests of India to the mangroves of the Sundarbans at the Bay of Bengal.

Discovery Channel follows WILD FRANK on his quest for tigers and meets people who have already encountered the tiger up close. Frank also makes traveling acquaintance with numerous other exotic representatives of the animal kingdom like elephants, yaks and snakes. Starting June 10, viewers take a journey with WILD FRANK IN INDIA every Friday at 9 pm, only on Discovery Channel.

Frank begins his adventure in a monastery of Buddhist monks in the mountains of Nepal and runs through the stunning and remote landscape of this country in search of the tiger. His voyage continues across Nepal to reach India. The naturalist walks the streets of Kolkata and moves to the Sundarbans, world’s largest mangrove. The natives have assured him find the Bengal tiger. Frank wants to get to the “last Bengal tiger” to show it in its natural wild state.

“It is one of the most endangered species on the planet. Just a few survive in freedom and is almost as difficult to see them in their habitat as close to them and observe them in their natural wild state. The destruction of their home has become the king of the Asian jungle in a nomadic species that hides lurking all living to attack at any time,” said Frank Cuesta, who travelled thousands of kilometers and faced many dangers, like the attack of a Russel viper, whose venom can cause death. His grin moment was sharing a bath in the river next to a herd of elephants.

Accompany Frank on his wild adventures in WILD FRANK IN INDIA every Friday at 9 pm on Discovery Channel. Discover native animals of the Himalayan region, experience the spectacular beauty of the tallest mountains and delve into the tradition and ancient culture of the people of India and Nepal, the last refuges of the legendary Bengal Tiger.
