    Neo@Ogilvy Appoints Deepankar Kapoor head of strategy for India

    MUMBAI: Neo@Ogilvy announced Deepankar Kapoor as Vice President and Head of Strategy – India, Neo@Ogilvy. He will be based in Gurgaon.

    Kapoor comes to Neo@Ogilvy with work experience that is richly diverse and spans eight years in digital strategy and planning. Kapoor has worked on multiple aspects of this business – creative, content, media, technology and CRM providing solutions for a roster of blue chip brands. He joins Neo@Ogilvy from Havas Media where he was leading the digital strategy function while working with brands such as Star TV, Sun Pharmaceuticals, LG, Amway, Xolo, Clovia among others.

    Before Havas Media Group, Kapoor has led digital strategy at the Grey Group and DigitasLbi where he drove digital transformation journeys for brands such as Tata Motors, Volkswagen, Quikr, Cadburys, Vespa, ITC, Dell, Johnson & Johnsons portfolio, Indian Army, Network18, Wipro Corporate, etc. A few prominent digital exercises under his belt are the digital brand launches of Tata Bolt & Zest, Tata Safari’s CRM initiative famously known as SOUL and the very recent buzziest campaigns of 2015 called Tardis Day (for Doctor Who fans) for Star FX.

    Academically, he holds an MBA from the University of Calcutta, a degree in Communications Management from Symbiosis International University and a Diploma in Cyber Laws from Government Law College Mumbai.

    MUMBAI:  Neo@Ogilvy India has announced the appointment of AnkushTalwar as Analytics & Insights head of Neo@Ogilvy. 

    With an experience of more than 12 years in data science, analytics & insights Talwar was an analytics leader with Flipkart before joining Neo@Ogilvy. At Neo, he will develop and scale the analytics capabilities for digital and performance media.

With so much focus on data and analytics, brand owners are increasingly looking at digital, specifically media partners, to provide always on insights and intelligence.     Talwar has a legacy of incubating and building world class analytics and data science units. He has experience across multiple industry sectors spanning eCommerce, retail, bankingand utilities where he created the ability to grow on the path of data driven decision making and inturn saving precious marketing dollars.

    In his last role, Talwar was the head of Customer and Brand Strategy Analytics at Flipkart, where he was responsible for enabling companywide deep customer understanding based on vast amounts of transaction, visits and views data. He was instrumental in providing deep insights about Customer NPS (Net Promoter Score) and support moving it northwards for the largest e-commerce portal in India.

    During his stint at Payback, Talwar led the Insights and Analytics teams for the largest loyalty network in India. Rewarded multiple times for his contributions, he created a suite of predictive solutions to predict the Next Logical Customer Spend, thus enabling the Next Best Action from brands and clients. Here, along with his team, he delivered the first Digital Consumer Spend Bureau for India. He was also the brain behind delivering incremental Rs 500 crore revenue for India’s largest retail chain.

    Before that his experience includes working with some of the best Fortune 500 companies & Tech startups, including Accenture and American Express, where he started and scaled advanced analytics teams from just a handful of members to 50plus  data science and analytics professionals. He also created models for complicated consumer marketing problems like Lifetime Value and Spend Intent.

    Neo@Ogilvy names NDs of SEO and Mobile

    MUMBAI: The full service digital arm of the the Ogilvy Group, Neo@Ogilvy has made a few appointments. Anil Singh joins Neo@Ogilvy as national director of SEO and Megha Ahuja will take on the role of national director (mobile) Neo@Ogilvy.

     

    On the appointments, Neo@Ogilvy president and country head Sanjay Ramakrishnan said: “It’s great to have Anil and Megha join the neo@ogilvy team. One of the goals at Neo is to build deep domain capabilities across each aspect of digital marketing – Search, Mobile, Social and Display. The depth of capabilities is going to matter even more in the ever changing digital landscape. Anil and Megha are specialists in their domains and bring in vast amount of knowledge and experience in the SEO and Mobile space and I am sure it’s going to benefit all our clients.”

     

    Singh brings in over 13 years of work experience in the digital space that spans various sectors. His expertise is specifically in SEO and prior to this he had spent seven years at Interactive Avenues, building the SEO practice from scratch. 

     

    Ahuja comes to us with a background that covers seven years in strategy, account management and digital marketing. Her exposure cuts across FMCG, auto, travel, telecom, media, healthcare and paints.

     

    They will both be based in Delhi
