    Moving Picture signs co-production agreement of Dutch film

    MUMBAI: Moving Picture Company India Ltd has has signed an agreement with NL Films, Netherlands for producing a Dutch feature film titled Zoop in India.

    The total outlay of production in India would be approximately Rs 28 million.

    Zoop is a popular Dutch TV-series for youngsters (aged 6 to 14). The third season is shown on TV and last summer the first Zoop feature film, Zoop in Africa, played in the national theatres. Keeping in mind the success of the film, NL Film Productions has decided to make a sequel: Zoop in India.

    The company has obtained necessary shoot permissions from the ministry of information and broadcasting and a permission from the ministry of environment is awaited for the same. The film is expected to be shot during February to March in Maharashtra and Kerala.

    Moving Picture has recently produced corporate films for IFFCO, IFFDC, Satyam Computers and Nestle. The corporate film produced for IFFCO has won the first prize for the best corporate film in public relations national awards at international PR Festival.

  • Moving Picture to produce ‘Chala Lallan Hero Ban-ne’ for Filmy

    MUMBAI: Moving Picture Company Ltd will be producing a show Chala Lallan Hero Ban-ne for the movie channel — Filmy, which is slated to launch on 12 Feburary.
    The production house will be producing 52 episodes of Chala Lallan Hero Ban-ne, a half an hour weekly programme. The show has been desgined as a light filmy comedy schedule to air at 8 pm every Friday.
    The show host Sunil Grover, will feature as Lallan who enthralls viewers with the week’s latest releases — first day, first show.
