  • Movies Now brings Vidyut Jamwal to promote ‘Knockouts @ 7’

    MUMBAI: Movies Now has associated with an upcoming action film Commando 2 for its flagship property Knockouts @ 7. The property airs action packed movies like Quantum Of Solace, Spiderman 2, The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian, Snake On A Plane and many more every Monday–Friday at 7 pm.

    The movie is a sequel to 2013 film Commando starring Vidyut Jamwal which was highly appreciated for its action sequences and therefore the association with the channel is a perfect fit as it showcases action-packed Hollywood films.

    Actor Vidyut Jamwal recently shot a promo where he will be seen promoting the property and his upcoming film.

    Jamwal said, “Associating with Movies Now is like homecoming for me as the channel is known for showcasing some of the Hollywood’s best action movies from across the globe. Simultaneous to the theme of our movie, this property Knockouts @7 showcases some of my favorite action blockbuster movies from Hollywood.     According to the week 6 ratings data of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India, History TV18 emerged as the number one channel in the infotainment genre.
    Living Foodz continued to dominate the Lifestyle space, with the channels observing mixed ratings this week.

    Comedy Central sustained its number one position with 344 Impressions (‘000s) as compared to 254 Impressions (‘000s) in week 5. Star World was at the second place with 207 Impressions (‘000s). Zee Cafe stood at the third position with 132 Impressions (‘000s) whereas Colors Infinity SD took the fourth place with 107 Impressions (‘000s). AXN came down to the fifth rank with 70 Impressions (‘000s).

    Movies Now regained the number one position this week with 2315 Impressions (‘000s) as to 2207 Impressions (‘000s) in week 5 followed by Sony Pix with 2271 Impressions (‘000s).     Living Foodz sustained its number one position with increased ratings from 1845 Impressions (‘000s) in week 5 to 1898 Impressions (‘000s) this week.
