    Lighting up this Diwali with the best of visual treat for the viewers, Romedy NOW brings ‘Diwali Delights’, starting November 1 – 14, 2020 every night at 9pm.     Biographical comedy drama, Vice makes an Indian television premiere on Movies NOW, MNX and MN+

    MUMBAI: Delivering premium content to its viewers with Hollywood blockbusters premieres like The Girl in the Spiders Web and Creed II, Movies NOW, MNX and MN+ will simulcast another Indian television premiere, Vice, an American biographical comedy drama film this Sunday, 26 July  2020 at 1.00 pm and 9.00pm.

    Written and directed by Adam McKay, the well lauded 2018 film which received eight nominations at the 91 Academy Awards, including a Best Picture nomination and a win for Best Make-Up and Hairstyling, features Amy Adams, Steve Carell, Sam Rockwell and Christian Bale, who won Golden Globes Best Actor Award for his performance as the former U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney in the movie.     Times Network reduces Mirror Now MRP, launches new bouquet for English movie channels at Rs 10

    MUMBAI: Times Network has revised the MRP of Mirror Now and introduced a new bouquet of three channels Romedy Now, Movies Now and MNX at Rs 10.

    According to the new Reference Interconnect Offer (RIO), the broadcaster has reduced the MRP of news channel Mirror Now to Rs 0.5 from Rs 2.

    The new bouquet named "Bouquet 5" is the first English movie channel only bouquet with three channesl – Romedy Now, Movies Now and MNX at RS 10. The network now has five bouquets as offerings along with 12 channels. The other existing bouquets remain untouched with no change in rate or number of channels.

    Under the new tariff order regulations, the distributors of television channels are currently not obliged to sign the amended RIOs unless the existing signed RIO expires.

    The price change would only be visible across DPOs if and when they sign the new amended RIO once it kicks into effect. The newly amended RIO of the network will come in force from 14 September.

    Times Network had earlier in April amended its RIO to rename Times Now HD as Times Now World (HD) along with the addition of Times Now to its Bouquet 3 and Bouquet 4.

    Times Network international biz head Naveen Chandra moves on

    MUMBAI: Times Network’s international business head Naveen Chandra has stepped down and will be serving his last day on 28 February. He confirmed the news to Indiantelevision.com.

    Chandra has been associated with Times Group for over 16 years. Previous to Times Network, he worked as head, strategy and new initiatives at Times Global Broadcasting Company (TGBCL), the parent company of Times Network. He joined Radio Mirchi as executive VP and National sales director.

    Overall, he has 25 years of experience in business operations, sales and marketing across broadcast tv, radio, print, internet and digital mediums across Indian and international markets.

    Before Radio Mirchi, he worked with Sesa Seat for over a decade.

    Earlier this year, Times Network has also appointed Amitabh Biswas as head of marketing, English entertainment cluster. In his role, Amitabh will lead the brand and media strategy for the Network’s English entertainment channels (Movies Now, Romedy Now, MNX and MN+) across platforms.
