    Mumbai: Bingo! Tedhe Medhe, the delicious snacks from ITC Ltd, is thrilled to announce its association with the popular regional OTT platform, Hoichoi. Known for its innovative and entertaining approach, Bingo! Tedhe Medhe has created an exclusive mini-series titled Institute of Isspecial Talents. It is a never-before-featured spoof comedy of Bengali stars teaching their own special talents to a group of young college students.

    The rise of OTT platforms has revolutionised the entertainment industry and viewers now prefer to consume content on these platforms. Bingo! Tedhe Medhe has embraced this trend by launching rib-tickling series for its consumers in West Bengal through the Institute of Isspecial Talents. Some of the most popular stars of Bengali cinema embrace the very characters through which they have gained a reputation amongst their audience and try to teach a group of young students the tricks to master the same. The following are the episodes and the iconic personalities featuring in them:

    ●   Episode 1: “Potanormetry” by Silajit – Learn how to solve your love problems from the guru himself

    Prime Video launches ‘Taking Guard: India’s Quest for Kiwi Glory’

    Mumbai: Prime Video is all set to broadcast India men’s tour of New Zealand beginning from 18 to 30 November. Ahead of the tournament in New Zealand, the OTT platform has also launched a 6-part mini-series Taking Guard: India’s Quest for Kiwi Glory.

    This mini-series is part of Prime Video’s special programming initiative around the upcoming series that starts on 18 November with the first T20I and concludes with the last ODI on 30 November.

    The series explores India’s fabled rivalry with the Kiwis, going back to 1967, through archival match footage, sound bytes and graphics. The documentary moves seamlessly through varied themes chronicling India’s tour to New Zealand over the years. Former greats of the game, who lend their voice in telling this riveting story include Ravi Shastri, Ajit Agarkar, Danny Morrison, Simon Doull and Ian Smith. Harsha Bhogle, who has not only witnessed this rivalry from close quarters but has been the voice narrating the highs and lows from some of these matches from the commentary box, also talks about his experience.

    Epic presents mini-series on India’s iconic speeches

    MUMBAI: Epic, the infotainment channel is all set to launch a five-part series, Bharat Ki Awaaz, every Wednesday starting from 1 August at 10 pm.   

    The show has been brought to television with an effort to re-live with context and perspective, the passion and ideas of some of India’s finest orators. Their public addresses at important junctures of history roused the blood of millions – to define, build, and bind our nation together. As a nation today, it is pertinent for us to understand the words, vigour, and emotions that lifted those in despair, inspired courage and great revolutionary ideas, while refining the souls of citizens, not just of India, but the world over. More often than not, their fervent appeals culminated into some of the biggest turning points of history.

    Real footage of speeches, expert comments, reactions of both applause and backlash, along with the everlasting impact they had, are covered in this mini-series.

    Epic TV programming head Akul Tripathi said,  “While we will all know the words of many of these speeches, like Nehru’s ‘Tryst for Destiny’ speech on independence eve, we have rarely, if ever, actually heard or seen it. As we celebrate another independence day, Bharat Ki Awaaz is an effort to give both – a face, and perspective to some of the greatest speeches of our times.”

    The first episode will be see impassioned orations by one of the most dynamic leaders of the freedom struggle – Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose who was amongst the young leaders to emerge in the 1930s. His speeches made a deep impact on Indians, wherever they lived in the world. The episode offers unique insight on why this patriot travelled to Singapore and Japan to forge alliances and build an army to fight the British in India.

    MUMBAI: History TV18 will be airing a landmark series that captures the iconic images, emotions and the unique experiences of some of the renowned cities in the world. The series titled Metropolis will air on 25 December at 12 pm with back to back episodes all day long.
