    Mumbai: Madison Media Alpha, a unit of Madison World, has just announced the win of Godrej & Boyce integrated media AOR.

    The account was won in a multi- agency pitch and the agency will handle the entire gamut of media including TV, print, social media, digital, performance marketing, OOH and activations.

    Speaking about the agency’s appointment, Mehernosh Pithawalla, senior vice president and head – brand and strategic insights, Godrej & Boyce said, “Madison World has been an industry leader in the realm of communications for several years, now.     Mumbai: Madison World’s unit, Madison Media Ultra, on Monday, has been appointed to handle the traditional and digital media mandate for the client, including TV, print, and digital for 88Guru.com as the media agency of record (AOR).

    A Singapore-based, socially conscious organisation, 88tuition was founded with a mission to “empower every student to achieve full potential.” 88tuition incorporated the world’s best pedagogy into a highly scalable, technology-driven product which aims to provide students with a high-quality learning experience. The company is now set to launch in India under the brand name 88guru.com.

    Mumbai: Following the launch of its latest brand film conceptualised by Havas Worldwide India (Creative), neo-banking company Stashfin has further consolidated its relationship with Havas Group India by appointing the agency as its media AOR. 

    Havas Creative India MD Manas Lahiri and Havas Media Group India president and chief client officer Uday Mohan will jointly lead the mandate, said the company in a statement.

    Mumbai: Following a highly competitive multi-agency pitch, Havas Media Group India has bagged the integrated media mandate of India’s largest crypto investing app, CoinSwitch. This is the first major win for Havas Media Group India in the Southern market this year. 

    The mandate includes both offline and online duties of CoinSwitch and will be handled out of the Bangalore office, led by Havas Media managing partner – South Saurabh Jain, said the statement.

    “Crypto assets are a gateway to the future decentralised world, aka Web 3.0. Today’s digital-savvy Indians are willing to experiment with this emerging asset class,” commented CoinSwitch chief business officer Sharan Nair. “At CoinSwitch, as part of our mission to ‘make money equal for all,’ we are committed to improving user awareness and helping them make informed investment decisions using various mediums.     CoinSwitch has raised $260 million in Series C funding from Coinbase Ventures and Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) in September 2021, to become India’s most valued crypto unicorn at a valuation of $1.9 billion. In January, the company crossed 15 million registered users and now plans to deliver diverse investment options to its growing customer base.

    Brillon appoints Lodestar UM as media AOR

    MUMBAI: Brillon Consumer Products Ltd, formerly SC Johnson Pvt Ltd, a manufacturer of household consumer products has appointed IPG Mediabrands owned Lodestar UM as its media agency on record in India.

    The decision comes on the heels of a multi-agency, multi-phased pitch process. The account will be managed out of the agency’s Gurugram office.

    Brillon Consumer Products is the joint venture in India between SC Johnson Pvt Ltd and Bansk Group, a private equity firm, to manage the business operations in the country. The company owns pest control products – All Out and Baygon, Mr Muscle range of cleaning products, Dranex Drain Cleaner, Kiwi Shoe Polish, Glade Air Freshener among others.

    The task includes both offline and online media mandates, including e-commerce.

The agency will handle the entire media mandate including print, TV, radio, digital, OOH, and activation. The account was won in a multi-agency pitch and will be handled by Madison Media Sigma in Mumbai.

    Truecaller Appoints DCMN India as Media AOR

    MUMBAI: DCMN India, the growth marketing partner for digital first brands, has bagged the media mandate for Truecaller, one of the leading global communications app.

    The account was won following a multi-agency pitch that involved several big agencies. The mandate includes managing the company’s TV media duties across different markets and campaign tracking using DCMN’s proprietary TV attribution technology, DC Analytics. Truecaller is a very popular brand that cƒuts across categories and geographies globally.

    The pitch process was held in New Delhi and the account will be handled from DCMN’s Gurgaon office. The business will be led by BinduBalakrishnan, Country Head, DCMN India.

    Truecaller is all set to launch its new TV campaign, which aims to communicate its new features that positions it beyond just a caller ID app. The app integrated video calling, instant messaging and even payments in March last year. The features have been embedded in the app to take into account the demands of a new-age user and over the last year, audiences have responded well to the updates.

    Speaking on same, Manan Shah, Director Marketing – India, Truecaller, says, “Over 150 million people use Truecaller in India alone, primarily to know who is calling. Over the last year Truecaller has transformed into a complete communication suite with video calling, a unique instant messaging utility called Flash and integrated UPI based payments and banking features.     During the pitch process, the synergies between DCMN India and Truecaller became apparent because Truecaller understood the importance of TV tracking, a unique offering from DCMN in the Indian market.  

    With the help of its flagship tool DC Analytics, DCMN India will analyse how consumers are using these top-end features of the Truecaller app in real-time across different locations.

    Truecaller is one of the most used apps in the country. It began with solving a very basic problem of identifying the caller but in the process has become a huge communication tool for advertising. Several leading brands like Nestle, Airtel, and others use the platform to reach their consumers as the platform provides a very direct and uninterrupted connect with users. 

    Currently Truecaller has 200 million subscribers in India. The brand is rapidly growing in the country and has come up with several successful campaigns in the past to reach out to their consumers.
