    MUMBAI: We’ve all heard of George Lucas, even if we’re not movie buffs and his Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.
     

    Star News will be showcasing Star Wars’ George Lucas on his birthday day, 14 May on Masand Ki Pasand at 8:30 pm. The repeat will follow on 15 May at 6:30 pm and the same on 17 May at 3:30 pm.

    The exclusive interview was conducted at Lucas’s Skywalker Ranch in California, as he talks to Rajeev Masand about the significance of Star Wars, his interest in Bollywood, and his opinion on India’s most famous export to Hollywood – M Night Shyamalan.
     
     

    Also on this special Star Wars episode of Masand Ki Pasand, the episode will also feature a special chat with the only Indian who has appeared in a Star Wars film.

    Abhishek on ‘Masand Ki Pasand’

    Star News will feature Masand Ki Pasand with Bollywood's 'golden boy', Abhishek Bachchan at 8:30 pm on 6 November.

    The chat between Rajeev Masand and Abhishek Bachchan includes Abhishek speaking about living in his father's shadow and about rejecting top-notch films like Lagaan and Bhoot.

    The conversation will also include his upcoming film, Ram Gopal Verma's Naach and much more. The repeat will telecast the following 7 November at 10.30 am and 6:30 pm.

    Nana Patekar on Star News’ ‘Masand ki Pasand’

    Star News' weekly film show, Masand Ki Pasand, will feature Nana Patekar in an interview with Rajeev Masand on 21 February at 8.30 pm.

    Nana's revelations will include his plans to direct a film and the reason why he stayed away from films for so many years. He also explains why people are intimidated by him and insists that he's really not the terror that he is made out to be.

    The upcoming actress Amrita Rao, will also be seen getting up-close and personal with Masand in the same episode. She will talk about her forthcoming films with Shahrukh Khan, Akshay Khanna and Vivek Oberoi.

    Masand will also be sharing his thoughts about this week's big release Tum? starring Manisha Koirala and also about the Oscar nominated film Cold Mountain.
