    MUMBAI: From silver screen to streaming supremacy, Dangal TV has pulled off a blockbuster twist in its digital journey. The channel’s YouTube arm has clinched the No 1 spot globally on the Tubular Leaderboard in both the overall creators and media & entertainment (film & movies) categories for June and July 2025.

    That’s not all, Dangal TV’s subscriber base has now smashed through the 50 million mark, placing it proudly among the Top 100 global Youtube channels. In the process, it has leapfrogged some of the biggest names in entertainment, including Spidey, Zee TV, Sony Sab, YRF, and Set India.

    The milestone crowns a journey that began in 2017, when Dangal TV first tested the waters on YouTube with modest ambitions. Competing in a crowded field of global giants, the channel carved its niche by staying true to its ethos telling authentic stories from India’s heartland while adapting to the habits of digital-first audiences.

    MUMBAI: You’ve got to hand it to the outdoor medium. It allows for great advertising, sometimes even cheeky messaging.

    Take a look at how each of these three advertisers are feeding off the communications of each other on top of a road tunnel.  

    The first is quick commerce player Zepto. Its billboard  states: “Manyavar chahiye?  Manyavar in 10 minutes – Zepto” (You want Manyavar?)

    Next to it People Interactive – the parent firm of Shaadi.com  – has a billiboard stating: “Var Chahiye?  Will take more than 10 minutes – Shaadi.com.” (You want a husband?)

    Both seem to be from the same agency – if one has guessed correctly –  as they seem to be on a continuing billboard.(Did they share the cost of the billboard???) 

    Below both is the Manish Singhal-owned and Akshat Singhal-run OTT platform Dangal Play. Its contribution: “Shaadi mein drama chahiye? Download Dangal Play in less than one minute.” (You want drama in marriage?)

    We, the folks at indiantelevision.com, could not help but chuckle at this clever use of the environment your advertising is placed in.

    Mumbai: Johnson Jain has been appointed as chief revenue officer (CRO)  by Enterr10 TV Network, which owns and runs five broadcast channels, including Dangal TV, Dangal 2, Bhojpuri Cinema, Enter10 GEC, and Enterr10 Bangla

    He most recently served as Goldmine Telefilms’ CRO. Johnson has more than 20 years of experience working in the media sector and has held positions at companies like Zee Entertainment, Sony Entertainment Television, 9X Media, Goldmine Telefilms, and Beginnen Media.

    Commenting on Johnson’s appointment, Enterr10 TV network MD Manish Singhal said, “I am glad to welcome Johnson Jain to our Enter10 family as the chief revenue officer. His charming personality, go-getter attitude, and cordial relationships are admired across the industry. I wish him all the best”

    Mumbai: TV broadcaster Enterr10 on Saturday launched a new general entertainment channel called Dangal 2 to cater to the Hindi-speaking market audience.  

    The new GEC is targeted towards audiences across the country with a series of old and new shows from the network. “The viewers will not just get a chance to reminisce and rejoice the older much-loved shows but also get to watch the TRP garnering new originals of Dangal TV on this new channel as well,” said the media company.

    Dangal TV is one of the fastest growing GECs that consistently maintained its leading position in Broadcast Audience Research Council (Barc) India data, said the statement. “Dangal TV shows not only connected with the masses through their rooted storylines but also managed to create a cult fan following for its leading stars,” it added.

    The new GEC will air many shows including “Rehna Hai Teri Palkon ki Chhaon Mein,” “Jyoti, Pyaar ki Lukka Chuppi,” “Phir Laut Aayi Nagin,” “Basera, Baba Aiso Varr Dhundo,” “Mahim Shani Dev Ki,” and “Crime Alert.”

    “We have built a unique relationship with our viewers through our channels,” said Dangal TV managing director Manish Singhal. “While Dangal TV is more attuned to the female viewership, with Dangal 2 we are looking to encapsulate a larger audience base.     MUMBAI: School’s out and summer vacations are around the corner. Due to the second Covid wave tearing through the country, children have no choice but to stay cooped indoors. Like last year during lockdown, kids TV viewing is expected to rise again. In an attempt to reach out to capitalise on this opportunity and reel in a new set of viewers, Dangal TV is all set to debut Nikki Aur Jadui Bubble – a fantasy show that will take viewers on a magical journey. Nikki Aur Jadui Bubble will narrate the story of a young orphan named Nikki, who sets off on a quest to find her missing parents, along with her fun-loving magician friend Bubble. 

    The show will premiere on Tuesday, 20 April 2021 at 6.30PM and will thereafter air from Monday to Friday exclusively on Dangal TV.

    Produced by Creative Eye, Nikki Aur Jadui Bubble will entertain viewers with its power-packed and visually appealing storytelling. With Maisha Dixit as Nikki and Tanmay Rishi as the quirky and mischievous Bubble, the show will also have Himmanshoo Malhotra as Nikki’s magician father Shiv, and Lavina Tandon as evil magician Jhanjharika. Gulfam Khan, Sheetal Dabholkar and Sriniwas Kale will be seen playing pivotal roles.

    Intrigued by magic, and separated from her parents, Nikki desires to follow her father’s footsteps of becoming a magician someday. It is only when Nikki lands up in the orphanage does she meet her secret magician friend Bubble. It is along with Bubble and his magic that Nikki sets out to become friends with the rest of the kids while continuing her quest to find her missing parents while encountering Jhanjharika, the evil sorceress.

    MUMBAI: Enterr10 TV Networks has restructured its leadership and has assigned the revenue mandate of its flagship GEC Dangal TV to Shrutish Maharaj as an additional responsibility over his current role. Maharaj will also be overseeing the group’s Media planning & buying and will be reporting to Enterr10 Television Network MD Manish Singhal.

    Maharaj had joined Enterr10 Network as chief business officer to lead the revenue and strategy business for the regional cluster of Enterr10 Network in August 2020.

     Enterr10 Television Network MD Manish Singhal said: “We need the A team for the A game and it's quite heartening to have Shrutish back at the helm of affairs. Investing in the right content mix is our topmost priority right now and it really helps to have the right people walk with us towards the common goal.
