    Anil Pandit steps up as managing partner – data strategy and partnerships at Publicis Media

    MUMBAI: Publicis Media has named Anil K Pandit as managing partner – data strategy and partnerships, cementing his rise as a key voice in India’s data-driven advertising evolution. The promotion marks a strategic pivot for the group as it sharpens focus on ethical innovation, data privacy, and future-ready partnerships.

    Pandit, who previously served as EVP – programmatic, data and tech for India, now leads efforts to align data transformation with privacy-safe alliances and responsible advertising frameworks. “The future revolves around connected data and collaboration, with trust at the core,” Pandit said, announcing the move.

    With over two decades of experience across Omnicom, MicroAd, People Interactive, and India Today, Pandit has built a formidable reputation as a programmatic pioneer and data governance advocate. He is also a regular voice in academia and policy, serving as guest faculty at IIM Bangalore, IMT Ghaziabad, and member of the MMA AI Advisory Council and IAB Tech Lab working groups.

    His appointment signals Publicis Media’s deepening investment in data infrastructure at a time when privacy, interoperability and AI-readiness are redefining the media and martech playbook.

    Trishul will be reporting to Jai Lala and will spearhead business growth and momentum for Zenith India and its clients. He will strengthen client relationships further and mobilise with agility Publicis Media services including Content, Data, Analytics, Activation and Trade to maximise opportunities, visibility and ROI for brands.

    He brings with him a wide spectrum of experience on pedigreed brands including Coca-Cola, Vodafone, Marico, Danone, Pepperfry and Disney. His previous stints include Madison, erstwhile Maxus and GroupM Motivator and most recently saw him as Strategic Business Unit (SBU) head for Motivator (West).

    Mumbai: Dentsu Webchutney, the digital creative agency from the house of dentsu India and a dentsuMB company has promoted its executive vice president Harsh Shah to the role of managing partner.

    In his new role, Shah will report to dentsuMB Group CEO Sidharth Rao, and focus on accelerating the agency’s expansion across key business lines, said the agency in a statement on Monday. “Shah will administer new business acquisitions, large-scale campaigns, and agency operations as part of this expanded mandate,” it added.

    Shah has been a key stakeholder in Dentsu Webchutney’s growth and culture. He started his journey with the agency in 2010 as an account manager. Since then, he has led several award-winning campaigns such as ‘Thappad – Most Reported Trailer,’ ‘Saffola Heart Age Calculator,’ ‘Uri – Surgical Strike on Torrents,’ and ‘Vice – 8-bit Journo.’ Under his leadership, the agency has also brought home multiple national and international awards including several Cannes and several Kyoorius Elephants, according to the agency.

    Sumeer Mathur appointed as national planning head & managing partner, Havas Worldwide (Creative) India

    Mumbai: Havas Group India has announced the appointment of Sumeer Mathur as national planning head and managing partner, Havas Worldwide India – the creative agency of the group, with immediate effect. He will be based out of the Gurugram office and report to Havas Group India group CEO Rana Barua.

    He will also collaborate closely with Havas Worldwide’s chief client officer and head of group integration Arindam Sengupta, and Havas CX EVP and business head Prashant Tekwani to drive the group’s vision of integration and CX. In addition, Mathur will also join forces with the entire senior leadership of the group companies of Havas Group to help drive the integration across the network.
