    MUMBAI: SHEIN India and Make-A-Wish Foundation come together once again to fulfil wishes of children, following the immense success of their association in Mumbai and the capital, Delhi. This is the third time SHEIN and Make-A-Wish have come together to share happiness with kids, this time in Pune. 

    Make-A-Wish Foundation is dedicated to granting the most cherished wishes of children between the ages of 3 and 18 years, living with life-threatening illnesses, irrespective of their socio-economic status, caste, race or religion. The event in Pune witnessed a painting and drawing competition followed by an interactive session with the children. Most of the children wore their outfits and SHEIN provided them with matching caps for their attire and glasses to flaunt their outfit and slay the day.

    SHEIN, a fast fashion e-commerce platform has been on the forefront of creating fashion trends and styles straight from the ramp. The association with Make-A-Wish Foundation makes SHEIN one of the few brands making a difference to the Society.

    On this association, the Spokesperson of SHEIN says, “SHEIN is honoured to be a part of Make a Wish. We are amazed and inspired by the dreams of these children which has touched the lives of thousands of people. We look forward to fulfilling wishes for these beautiful children whenever we can.”

    Samiksha Sakharam Bhalerao aged 10 suffering from Juvenile Diabetes wished for a beautiful White Gown

    MUMBAI: Shein, a leading online e-commerce fast fashion brand joins hands with Make a Wish Foundation, an NGO that grants wishes of children with life threatening diseases, to make their wishes come true and dress in their best.

    Life is the most unpredictable journey and Shein feels honored in making sure that they fulfill wishes to add happiness and spread love in the times of their suffering. As a part of the association, Shein granted the wishes of children who desired specific outfits/apparels adding a special memory to cherish.

    Shein fulfilled over 30 wishes of children battling life and the association is an attempt to fulfill many such wishes for an entire year while the event took place in the Shein’s office with the near dear ones of the children. Shein soon shall take the endeavor to other cities.

    The afternoon started with a painting and drawing competition followed by an interactive session with the children. Most of the children wore their outfits and SHEIN provided them with matching caps for their attire and glasses to flaunt their outfit and slay the day. This afternoon called wraps post-lunch and it was an end to one merry day out for the children.

    4.     Ankita Mondal suffering from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia aged 6 wished for a T-shirt paired up with a skirt.

    5.     Krishna Patel suffering from VSD aged 6 wished for a Punjabi dress for herself.

    6.     Varad Chauhan suffering from SV ASD aged 4 wished for formals to wear on his hospital visits.

    7.     Arfat Khan suffering from Nepheotic aged 7 wished to done a T-shirt with a pair of jeans.

    8.     Kinjal Chouksey suffering from Pineblastoma aged 7 wished for a Long gown along with a Skirt for herself.

    9.     Aditya Chaurasia suffering from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia aged 4 wishes to have new T-shirts to wear.

    Maxus recruits Vidur Patney and Pooja Verma with strategic roles

    MUMBAI:  Maxus, a global marketing communications consultancy firm under the GroupM umbrella, has announced two key appointments for its specialist units. Vidur Patney is roped in as the national director experiential marketing and Pooja Verma will be the head of Maxus ESP.

     

    In his career span of eighteen years, Patney has worked with leading agencies like Dentsu Communications Private Limited, Encompass Events Private Limited, and 212 Traders etc. He was with Globox Media Private Limited before being absorbed by Maxus. He has handled important and significant clients in all his earlier stints and brings to the table a proven ability to manage key account relationships and large-scale projects.

     

    Earlier with leading multi-nationals like Disney, BASF,etc. Pooja Verma has been involved in building engagement as a part of content strategy through communication, branding, marketing and citizenship initiatives, for nearly 15 years. In her last role she was the director of marketing and communication for Make-A-Wish based in Singapore.
