    Roshan Salian joins Magnon Group as associate vice president – key accounts

    MUMBAI: Roshan Salian has been appointed associate vice president – key accounts at Magnon group, marking the latest step in a 15-year career in digital marketing.

    Salian, who has previously held leadership roles at Social Panga, Ogilvy, Schbang, Tonic Media and Gozoop, is known for crafting customer-first campaigns and building collaborative partnerships with digital-first brands.
    At Social Panga, he spent over three years as group head – brand solutions, overseeing client relations, creative strategy and integrated marketing. Earlier stints include account director at Ogilvy and group solutions manager at Schbang.

    With his new mandate, Salian is expected to drive strategic growth for key accounts at Magnon group, leveraging his expertise in campaign strategy, operations and brand development.

    Nikon India appoints magnon eg+ to handle its creative and digital duties

    Mumbai: Nikon India on Tuesday announced that it has on-boarded magnon eg+ as its creative and digital partner. The account was won after a multi-agency pitch and will be managed by the agency’s Delhi NCR office.

    As part of the partnership, magnon eg+ will be responsible for the creative strategy and execution across online and offline platforms, including digital campaign planning, social media management, media planning and buying, online reputation management, and content strategy and creation, along with strategizing and executing influencer and creator-led content. The agency’s focus will be to partner closely with the team at Nikon to further build and strengthen equity for the brand and manage the entire portfolio of their imaging products.

    Speaking about this collaboration, Nikon India managing director Sajjan Kumar said, “Nikon’s presence in the imaging market has been exceptional and we wanted an innovative digital strategy to take it further. I am pleased that this partnership with magnon will bring a fresh perspective to the brand proposition.”

  • TBWA acquires India’s digital agency Magnon

    MUMBAI: Omnicom‘s global advertising agency network TBWA has acquired Indian digital entity Magnon Group.

    The acquisition includes the domestic digital agency Magnon Solutions and digital outsourcing agency Magnon International that serves clients across five continents.

    With immediate effect, Magnon will become part of the TBWA Group of companies in India. The digital agency, Magnon Solutions, will join TBWA‘s global Digital Arts Network (DAN) and the digital outsourcing company, Magnon International, will become part of E-Graphics and an accelerator for DAN‘s production offering.

    Magnon was founded in 2000 by Vineet Bajpai and employs nearly 150 professionals between Mumbai and New Delhi. He will continue as founder and CEO of Magnon Group. The group offers clients the full spectrum of digital services, including graphic design for web and mobile; digital marketing; search and social media optimisation; bespoke technology applications development; online brand strategy consulting; eCommerce solutions; and mobile sites and apps development.
