    Gaming Creators takes centre stage at landmark STAN Creator Fest

    Mumbai: Gaming startup STAN organised the first-of-its-kind mega event STAN Creator Fest to celebrate India’s Internet creators and the success of gaming creators in India. The event took place at Enigma The Experience, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad and more than 500+ creators – predominantly gaming and esports creators – from across the country will be present in person.

    Among some of the most popular and influential gaming and entertainment personalities who attended this year’s Creator Fest include – Lokesh Gamer (the biggest creator of Telangana), AS Gaming, Aditech, Telugu Gaming FF, Ishika Plays, Boss Official, Assasins Army, Black Flag Army, Rahul Gaming, Bakwas Talks, and among others there are few mystery creators also attended the event. Notably, these creators have a collective follower base of over 300 million across various social media platforms like Instagram, YouTube, etc.

    The gaming industry in India has been growing tremendously in recent years and is expected to be valued at $5 billion by 2025. On the other hand, as per a report by EY, India’s content industry is set to cross $30.6 billion in valuation by 2023, with a major chunk of digital content creation in our country today being dominated by gaming and esports creators. Offering the best of both worlds, STAN Creator Fest 2023 was aimed at uplifting and providing ample support and encouragement for India’s micro and budding creators. It fostered an environment conducive to networking, meet-and-greet, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing across the intersections of the gaming and content creation spaces. Additionally, Stan also introduced the Stan creator partner program and plans to onboard 500 creators.

    Stan hosts all-new FanFest for esports fans in India

    Mumbai: Stan, a blockchain-based fan engagement platform, had successfully hosted a first-of-its-kind fanfest that united various gaming creators, fans, and esports players beyond the virtual space and in person.

    Stan Fanfest was a component of Dreamhack 2022, which took place from 4-6 November 2022, at the Hitex Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad.

    The fanfest was a truly immersive event that brought together over 30,000 gaming enthusiasts from across the country to the destination.

    DreamHack, a gaming event unlike any other, is all about the massive BYOD (bring your own device) LAN party, paired with a plethora of competitive tournaments and international esports competitions.

    The Stan fanfest, which was hosted in collaboration with Wings, a gaming earphones manufacturer, gave fans an immersive experience by introducing them to the many activities, including the offline version of the NFT Trump game, which was the star attraction of the fan area. Having designed one of the most intriguing arenas and booths inside DreamHack, the visitor footfall at Stan Fanfest was recorded to be the highest throughout the three days. The fanfest was well-received by online gamers and influencers, with over 30.000 attendees and over 80 influencers present over the three days. Interestingly, for the first time, Free Fire creators and Omegle creators also graced the meet and greet event.

    The key gaming influencers participating in the event were Uk007 Rider, for whom over 10,000 fans turned up at the venue, Mortal, Gyan Gaming, Lokesh Gamer, AS Gaming, Thug, Goldy, Raj ‘Snax’ Varma, and Tanmay ‘Scout’ Singh. Industry leaders including S8UL founder Thug (Animesh Agarwal), 8bit creatives Goldy (Lokesh Jain), and NODWIN Gaming managing director & co-founder Akshat Rathe marked their presence at the event. Comedians and leading gaming creators Samay Raina and Tanmay Bhat also attended the event.

    Mumbai: Hefty Games has announced a partnership with leading influencers to kickstart its gaming & NFT ecosystem, and blockchain gaming in India with exclusive P2E (Play to Earn) games and a plethora of unique utilities.

    To leverage the popularity of interactive gaming and its acceptance as an emerging cultural phenomenon, the company is partnering with influencers ‘Lokesh Gamer,’ ‘Gyan Gaming,’ and ‘Two Side Gamers’ who have a combined following of close to 50 million. Through this association, Hefty Games is set to launch trading cards that will allow gaming aficionados to own a collectible from their favourite gamer.

    Hefty Games is a collaboration between new-age tech company House of Gaming, Ethereum scaling and infrastructure development platform Polygon, Hindustan Talkies – a media content conglomerate transforming entertainment across e-sports, games and blockchain technology, and Hungama – one of the largest digital media entertainment companies in South Asia.

    “With this joining of hands between the three forerunners of the gaming fraternity and Hefty Games, we are ready to lead this innovation into Web 3.0 and the metaverse,” said House of Gaming co-founder and CEO Yash Pariani. “This much-awaited drop of India’s inaugural digital collectibles in the gaming zone would set in motion a series of drops by other gaming superstars who would feature in the Hefty Metaverse.”

    As the owner of intellectual property rights of the first set of influencers, the company will soon be announcing its first drop of NFTs. The auction will be followed by the foray of other gaming superstars into the Hefty Metaverse. Via this association, Hefty Games aims to establish itself as a one-stop destination that facilitates the movement of all forms of digital art in the gaming realm onto the blockchain.

    Taking the association forward, the gamers will join the e-sports platform Indian Gaming League to host an on-ground, open-for-all tournament. Winners will be awarded exclusive prizes and a chance to be whitelisted for the exclusive NFT drop, said the statement.

    In addition to the above, Hefty’s collaboration with eDAO, an entertainment and creator-focused entity, will support the growth of the Hefty ecosystem enabling users to interact and engage with their favourite gamers and artists. With more high-end creations in the pipeline, Hefty Gaming looks to enable users with access to the metaverse which is a perfect synergy of all things gaming and entertainment.
