    L&K Saatchi & Saatchi bags Hamdard account

    MUMBAI: Health and wellness brand Hamdard Laboratories, which houses brands like Roohafza, Safi, Joshina and Roghan Badam Shirin amongst others, has allocated its creative duties to L&K Saatchi & Saatchi.

     

    L&K Saatchi & Saatchi won the account in a multi-agency pitch on the strength of its strategic and creative approach and was awarded the creative duties for brands like Roghan Badam Shirin, Traditional medicines, Cinkara, Naunehal Gripe Syrup and Corporate Communication duties.

     

    Hamdard Laboratories chief marketing officer Mansoor Ali said, “Hamdard is now geared to expand and innovate keeping wide product offerings and modern day consumers in mind. Hence a fresh approach and a strategic direction from our creative partner was critical for our brands. After a detailed evaluation, we finalised L&K Saatchi & Saatchi as our creative partner who we felt understands and shares the same passion with us.”

    MUMBAI: L&K Saatchi & Saatchi has appointed Vivek Rao as its chief creative officer – North. 

    Rao is armed with 15 years of experience working with global marketing communications companies and driving growth for global and local brands.

     

    L & K Saatchi & Saatchi CEO and managing partner Anil S Nair said, “Vivek is not just a fantastic creative talent but an inspiring leader, who carries his team along with him to glory.     MUMBAI: L&K Saatchi & Saatchi has appointed Snehasis Bose as senior vice president, planning.

    He will be operating from the Delhi office.

    MUMBAI: Digital L&K Saatchi & Saatchi has announced two senior level appointments. Sandeep Sarma joins the agency as its client servicing digital director while Arunima Singh joins as servicing group head.

    Commenting on the new appointments, Digital L&K Saatchi & Saatchi CEO Anil K Nair said, “Sandeep Sarma brings a healthy mix of traditional brand knowledge and digital planning skill sets to head and consult a few strategic business units at Digital L&K Saatchi & Saatchi.     Sarma has over 10 years of rich experience in digital and has worked with Times Internet, Zapak.com and RKSWAMY BBDO on brands like P&G India, Mars India, Mercedes-Benz India, LIC, Raymond, Pepsi, Axe.

    With 12 years of experience, Singh has previously worked with Social Wavelength (JWT) and Sobhagya Advertising Agency on brands such as Magma Fincorp, Dr. Batra’s, Force Motors, Kotak Mahindra, HUL, Skyscape, Apollo Clinics, Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Tata Housing, Intel, Piramal, to name a few.

    MUMBAI: While adding to its brand portfolio with a recent spate of business wins, L&K Saatchi & Saatchi have also been adding people to its growing teams across office. A recent addition has been the appointment of Kartik Smetacek as executive creative director.

     

    L&K Saatchi & Saatchi national creative director Charles Victor said, “Acquiring talent has and will be our focus across offices. Great work can only come from wonderful creative people and I believe Kartik is definitely one of them. He has extensive, diverse experience and I love the fact that he’s hungry to take on bigger responsibilities and challenges.” Charles added that bringing people like Kartik into the system was one of the many steps taken to raise the creative bar, the results of which will soon be seen.

    HSBC appoints L&K Saatchi & Saatchi as its communication partner

    MUMBAI: HSBC has awarded its communication mandate to L&K Saatchi & Saatchi for the re-launch of its premier offering in India. HSBC Premier is the group’s premium financial services product, offering exclusive banking services to high net worth individuals.

     

    The agency will be taking forward the globally integrated campaign for the re-launch of Premier. The agency’s Mumbai office will handle the account.

     

    The new positioning for HSBC premier is ‘Personal support, for your Personal Economy’. 

     

    L&K Saatchi & Saatchi CEO and managing partner Anil Nair said, “We are extremely pleased to work with HSBC in India.     MUMBAI: Delna Sethna Patel joins L&K Saatchi & Saatchi as chief creative officer where she will primarily focus on their P&G businesses namely Head and shoulders, Ariel, Olay and Pampers.

     

    Delna brings with her 17 years of experience having worked with agencies like Lowe, Ambience and JWT. Her last assignment was with Leo Burnett where she was the regional creative director on brand Whisper.

     

    She has worked across an array of brands like Johnson Baby, Croma, Fair & Lovely, Lux, Sunsilk, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, Bajaj Auto, Pepsodent, Tata Tea Gold, Lakme, Taj Hotels, Palaces & Resorts and Vivel to name a few.
