    Mumbai: Home Credit India has announced the appointment of Ashish Tiwari as its chief marketing officer (CMO). This decision was made with the continued focus on omnichannel marketing, led by a digital-first approach.

    Ashish brings over two decades of rich experience across various sectors, He has been practising brand marketing, digital transformation, technology and data analytics.

    Prior to this, he was the chief marketing and digital officer of Generali India, where he was in charge of the company’s brand engagement, PR, and digital.

    As a brand communication and product/consumer marketing specialist, Ashish’s diverse industry experience includes stints with Hero Cycles where he led digital transformation across the Hero Group.

    With a specialisation in digital and social media from IIM Bangalore, Ashish has worked with some prominent brands, including HCL, Jubilant Group, and Vodafone.

He worked with Bloomberg in Hong Kong as head of broadcast sales and as managing editor of Thomson Reuters where he was spearheading the video services.     Mumbai: The most influential PR professional body, Public Relations Consultants Association of India (PRCAI) celebrated two decades of leadership on Thursday.

    Mumbai: XtraCover, a new-age e-commerce platform catering to the lifecycle management services of smartphones and other electronic devices, has announced the appointment of Anirudh Singhania as its new chief technology officer (CTO) to strengthen the company’s technological prowess.

    Singhania has more than 25 years of experience in creating technology solutions, hatching growth strategies and leading high-performing software engineering teams. Prior to joining XtraCover, Anirudh was part of the founding team of Lulu and Sky Private Limited as the Chief Technology Officer. He also built dharma.h Software Technologies. Furthermore, he has worked with multiple tech startups from the stage of ideation to exit.

Operating in the B2C and B2B2C segments, the company offers services such as price discovery and comparison for new appliances, warranty support, refurbished device warranty, accidental damage and protection and repair and refurbishment services, among others. The e-commerce platform aims to create awareness in the Indian ecosystem to make refurbished devices a valued choice, if not the first choice.

    Witnessing a paradigm shift in the market growth of refurbished products since the global pandemic, XtraCover has clocked a revenue of over Rs 100 crore in FY 2022. With an aim to continue this growth trajectory, the company intends to surpass the Rs 275 crore target revenue in FY 2023. Additionally, the e-commerce platform plans on increasing its global outreach through export-oriented units (EOU) in India.

    MUMBAI: Textile, apparel, retail & real estate conglomerate, Raymond has announced the appointment of Atul Singh to lead the Group. As Raymond is gearing to mark its centenary year in 2025, the company is on a transformation journey by strengthening its leadership by bringing diverse experience on board, it said in a statement.

    The nomination and remuneration committee of Raymond has recommended Singh’s appointment as executive vice-chairman to the Board of Raymond Ltd subject to and post securing necessary regulatory clearances.

    Singh comes with diversified experience of over 35 years of leading multi-billion dollar businesses across several geographies globally. Singh worked at Coca-Cola for about two decades in several senior leadership positions and concluded his journey there as chairman of Asia Pacific and spearheaded businesses across 25 countries. 

    Before joining Coca-Cola, Singh worked at Colgate-Palmolive for 10 years where he held several leadership positions globally. His last stint at Colgate-Palmolive was country manager, Nigeria.

    Nissan India names Mohan Wilson as the new director of marketing

    Mumbai: Nissan India has appointed Mohan Wilson as director marketing, product & customer experience, for business transformation for the India market. Mohan Wilson replaces Sriram Padmanabhan and has taken over the position effective 1 July 2022.

    Sriram Padmanabhan, who has overseen the successful launch of the Nissan Magnite in India as director marketing, product & customer experience has been appointed director marketing, product & customer experience for Nissan Motor Australia, the company announced. In this newly created role, Padmanabhan will report to Adam Paterson, managing director Nissan Australia and will be based in Australia.

    Wilson has worked across geographies in Japan, HongKong, Germany and India with cross functional experience of over 20 years in sales and marketing with expertise in areas of brand building, marcom, product marketing, customer experience, corporate strategy and data driven marketing. Prior to this, Wilson was head of global marketing planning at Nissan Motor Corporation’s premium car brand INFINITI at Global HQ in Japan and was a part of new model launch introductions for INFINITI globally with all-new QX60 & QX55.  

    Mohan Wilson in his role will report to Nissan Motor India managing director Rakesh Srivastava, and will be based in Chennai. He will focus on the transformation of the business on future product strategy for India, build a strong brand with a focus on customer experience and will leverage his experience gained at Nissan Motor Corporation’s Global HQ office in Yokohama, Japan.

    MUMBAI: Levi Strauss & Co. announced on Tuesday the appointment of a new leader in its commercial organisation. Amisha Jain has been named as the company’s new senior vice president and managing director of South Asia-Middle East and Africa (SAMEA).

    She will be responsible for leading the company’s operations in SAMEA and ensuring that the geography continues to drive expansion and growth, contributing to the company’s success in Asia and around the globe.

    Jain brings more than 20 years of experience across multiple industries including physical and digital retail, consumer goods & technology and a track record of leading profitable, sustainable growth & transformation initiatives in both multinational and domestic companies in India to the company.

    Most recently, Jain was the chief executive officer at intimate-wear brand and platform Zivame. During her tenure there, she scaled the business nine times in three years before the business was acquired by Reliance Group in 2020, according to the company.

    Jain has an MBA from INSEAD & a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington. She started her career as an engineer with Motorola Inc. and has held roles across multiple functions including sales, operations and strategy at organisations like McKinsey & Company, Nike and Arvind Group.
