    Naveen Kumar, a seasoned investigative journalist would take the mantle of anchoring this show.

    The new show is unique in its own way as it not only highlights the crime stories but also educates the audience and creates awareness on how to fight back crime.

    Crime Reporter will be featured on Zee News, Zee Uttar Pradesh Uttarakhand and Zee Madhya Pradesh Chhattisgarh from Monday to Friday at 11.00 pm and on Zee Rajasthan Plus at 11:30 pm.

    Crime Reporter will showcase real crime stories without sensationalising it and focusing more to create awareness amongst viewers.

    MUMBAI:  Big Magic, the flagship general entertainment channel from the Reliance Broadcast Network stable, has announced a slew of new shows.

    The launches will include two fiction shows Raavi, Maahi Sagar and a comedy show titled Nadaaniyaan. Each of the shows have been designed on the basis of audience penchants while offering advertisers multiple opportunities to engage with audiences.

    Targeted at the 15-35 year old SEC ABC females and males, across HSM, the shows promise to resonate excellently with the progressive modern day audiences. The shows have been crafted post in-depth research undertaken with focus groups, by an expert agency across key markets. Each program showcases the progressive thoughts of emerging India and the fabric and tonality of the shows are designed accordingly.
    The shows will be marketed through a multi-media campaign with effective use of television, print, out of home and digital. The marketing campaign is focused on innovations as it will help in creating the required noise in the markets and also establish the shows.

    NEW DELHI: The school chain Shemrock and Shemford group of schools has launched its first-ever television commercial with Chhota Bheem as brand ambassador.

    The campaign delivers how the group has revolutionised the face of education in India making learning fun and exciting.

    Chhota Bheem who is a perfect combination of strength, intelligence and humour is the protagonist of this campaign. He has found his new resort for learning and education and is therefore calling his friends and all the children to his favourite schools – Shemrock and Shemford.

    The campaign is created by the in-house creative team of designers and visualisers. The campaign embarks by releasing TVC as well as online marketing. The print campaign has begun. There is a plan to organize various Chhota Bheem themed activities at various locations.

Then comes, Chhota Bheem to their rescue doing his signature move as he eats his laddoo, and invites them all to his favourite school where fun, learning and excitement never ends. He talks about the various activities and facilities offered at the Shemrock and Shemford group of schools such as the Activity Centre, Sanskar Room, Music & Dance Studio and Art & Craft Workshop etc. 

    The 9-year old character Chhota Bheem has become every child’s new best friend with his extraordinary intelligence, wit and humour. His charismatic personality perfectly exemplifies the aim of Shemrock & Shemford group of schools to develop an overall personality of a child and not just focus on education.

    Nick launches its first global mobile app

    MUMBAI: Kids broadcaster Nickelodeon has launched its first worldwide mobile app Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Rooftop Run in more than 150 countries and eight languages.

    Available for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices, the app features 3D characters and environments based on the CG-animated series.

    This is a runner ninja combat game, where players run, jump and fight their way across the rooftops of New York in an attempt to save the city from the invading Kraang and ultimate destruction.

    The app will be translated into eight languages, English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish (Latin America) and Spanish (Spain).

    Disney UTV launches four freemium apps

    MUMBAI: Disney UTV Digital, the digital media arm of Disney UTV, has launched four freemium apps UTV, Disney, Comedy and Devotional, for Indian mobile subscribers. Nokia Asha series has pre-embedded the UTV App on more than 2.5 million devices.

    Content in the UTV app includes movie trailers, full length movies (Bollywood and Regional), Bollywood gossip and more. The Disney App includes short form content featuring Mickey and Friends, other Disney classics such as Big Bad Wolf and Santa‘s Workshop and celebrated Pixar short form animation such as Reds Dream and Adventures of Andre and Wally B.

    The Comedy App gives users access to humorous videos like MENtals, Baba Aur Baby, Chickipedia and more. The Devotional App includes stories of Indian deities like Maa Durga, Sai Baba, Sri Krishna, and it includes the mythological epic Ramayana as well.

    These apps, which feature the breadth and depth of Disney UTV‘s content across movies, television, Hollywood and English content along with aggregated content, have already crossed the 15 million download mark in their test phase itself. The apps provide a superior streaming experience for users, even on low-bandwidth GPRS networks.

    The apps support monetisation via both ads as well as paid subscriptions enabled through Digital Disney UTV‘s mobile operator billing platform. This allows regular mobile users to access both ad-supported content as well as premium content within the same app, through a seamless one-click transaction via their mobile operator.

    Twitter launches app for music lovers

    MUMBAI: Twitter users can now listen to the top songs by the artists and people they follow on the site. Twitter has launched its new app #music for the music lovers.

    The app will recommend popular songs and will bring artists music related activity on their twitter profile which can be seen by the followers.

    Twitter has tied up with three music service providers for this app- iTunes, Spotify or Rdio. The social networking site is also looking forward to associate with other music companies as well.

    #NowPlaying helps the followers to check what has been tweeted by the artists and people they follow on Twitter. By tapping the artist‘s “avatar” on the chart, fans can see their top songs and simultaneously they can hit the play button to listen the songs.

    Twitter #music is available on the App Store and Twitter is also starting its web version soon on music.twitter.com.

    The app has been only launched in the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. Twitter is also planning to bring the service to Android as well, as to more countries.

    BENGALULRU: Indian online travel company, MakeMyTrip has launched an IPL themed television campaign highlighting its hotel services.

    The new TVC campaign is meant to extend MakeMyTrip‘s brand promise from ‘Memories Unlimited‘ to ‘Hotels Unlimited‘, by showcasing the brand‘s strength and value-proposition of ‘widest range of Hotels with Best deals‘, says the company.

    MakeMyTrip has tied up with top Hotels and branded properties to provide discounted inventory under last-minute deals.

    Earlier this month, MakeMyTrip became the principal sponsor of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SH).

    The TVC campaign features SH IPL players Ishaant Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan and Cameron White talking about the trustworthiness of booking hotels on MakeMyTrip. The new commercials are meant to demonstrate the positive effect of a good Hotel experience.

    The ‘Hinglish‘ language TVC has been created by FCB Ulka, produced by MAD Films and directed Abraham Cherian.

    According to the company the 30, 25 and 15 second versions of the ad will be aired in English and Hindi news and entertainment, movies and infotainment channels.
