    Crayons Advertising appoints Rohit Thakkar as vice president – revenue and growth

    Mumbai: Crayons Advertising Ltd has announced the return of Rohit Thakkar as VP of revenue and growth.

    In his new role, Rohit will focus on new client acquisitions and implementing strategies to boost business growth and revenue. With over 22 years of advertising experience under his belt, he is set to play a vital role in Crayons’ exciting plans for the future. He will be located in Mumbai office.

    Crayons Advertising Ltd., managing director Kunal Lalani shared his excitement about Rohit’s appointment: “We’re delighted to welcome Rohit back to the team! His extensive experience and impressive track record will be key to driving our strategic goals and enhancing our company.”

    Rohit, who previously worked at Crayons, brings a wealth of knowledge from his time at agencies like Mirum (formerly Social Wavelength), MX, and BMEG.

    “I’m excited to be back at Crayons—it feels like coming home,” said Thakkar. “I look forward to collaborating with this talented team again and pushing our growth initiatives forward.”

    Prasanth Kumar re-elected president of AAAI

    Mumbai: Group M Media (India) Pvt Ltd South Asia Prasanth Kumar, was re-elected as President of the Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) for the year 2023-24 at the Annual General Meeting  of AAAI held on 1 December.  

    Havas Worldwide India CEO Rana Barua was unanimously elected vice-president of the association.

    Publicis Group South Asia chief executive Anupriya Acharya will be the ex-officio member of the  AAAI Board for 2023-24 as AAAI’s immediate past president.

Our collective vision is to  strengthen an inclusive environment, actively engaging with all stakeholders to shape a dynamic and  future-ready organization.     Crayons Network appoints Vishnu Sharma as executive VP

    MUMBAI: The Crayons Network has appointed Vishnu Sharma as executive vice president heading media division of The Crayons Network. Prior to this sharma was heading the Arena division at Havas media group. Sharma also had couple of successful stints at the publishing side having worked as the national brand head at India Today Group and head of business analytics at HT Media. 

    An Alumnus of Delhi College of Engineering & IMT Sharma has over 22 years of experience spanning media strategy, planning, buying and managing large AORs driving integrated media offering with digital at the core. He has worked with major agency groups like GroupM, Madison, Zenithoptimedia, Initiative and Havas. He has worked with clients across sectors such as LG, Hero, Airtel, Videocon, Maruti, Sony, Tinder, OkCupid, Reebok and various others.
