    MUMBAI: This year’s about to get more fun, more special and several times cooler with Cartoon Network! Kris, your very own superhero buddy from Cartoon Network’s ‘Roll No. 21’, is here with a fantastic new campaign – ‘Kris Ka Funda’ – all through from March to November. Meeting fans from Monday to Friday on Cartoon Network at 1pm, Kris will now bring to his young friends interesting tips, tricks and life hacks through this campaign. Culminating into Kris’s birthday on 14th November, ‘Kris ka Funda’ promises loads of fun and learning in equal measure!

    Kris has some incredible surprises up his sleeve! This March, when the exam fever soars, Kris will kick-start the campaign by giving simple and effective tips on combatting exam woes, powered by Britannia Treat, along with associate sponsors VIP Skybags, Cipla Activ Kidz Immuno Boosters, Mother Dairy (on-air), Kellogg’s Chocos and presented by Chupa Chups Lollipop (on-air). Similarly, each month will have the popular cartoon superhero reach out to his little fans with new tips and new fundas! Taking the excitement up a notch, Kris and his cool squad have chalked out an exciting journey to different cities across the country! Accompanying on-air promotions, these visits to various cities will give kids the golden opportunity to meet and greet their beloved Kris, and partake in fun activities in the malls, play amazing games and answer trivia to win some cool Cartoon Network gifts!

    To kickstart the mall visits, Kris and his friends from Roll No. 21 will be at Amanora Mall Town Centre in Karadi, Pune on Saturday, March 31, 2018.

    Cartoon Network & Pogo go filmy with Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dilwale’

    MUMBAI: December seems exciting for Turner International’s kids channels in India — Pogo and Cartoon Network —  as the network goes filmy with Shah Rukh Khan‘s upcoming film Dilwale, which is all set to release on 18 December.

     

    Khan along with his Dilwale team will be seen in three new TV specials created especially for kids. Kris Aur Shah Rukh Ki Dilwale Bollywood Class will premiere on 19 December at 12 noon, Oggy Ki Birthday Party – Dilwale Style on Cartoon Network will premiere on 25 December at 11 am and Bheem Aur Dilwale will premiere on 13 December at 12 pm on Pogo in a 90 minute special, wherein the entire cast of Dilwale visits Dholakpur.

     

    Both TV specials are complimented with contests that will give kids the opportunity to win prizes.

     

    While Kris Aur Shah Rukh Ki Dilwale Bollywood Class will see superstar Khan helping CN’s superhero Kris from the Roll No. 21 series realise his dreams of being a superstar, Oggy’s birthday party will know no bounds as his brother invites the entire cast and crew of Dilwale to celebrate his big day.

     

    Dilwale also stars Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon.

    MUMBAI: In a partnership with POGO and Cartoon Network, Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan, will be seen defeating bad guys and giving tips on becoming a superstar in two brand new TV specials created especially for kids.

     

    Selfie Le Le Re with Kris and Salman will premiere on 18 July 2015 at 12PM on Cartoon Network and Bheem aur Bajrangi Bhaijaan will premiere on 19 July 2015 at 12PM on POGO. Both TV specials are complimented with contests that will give kids the opportunity to win exciting prizes including a chance to watch Bajrangi Bhaijaan before the rest of the world.

     

    Giving some valuable acting tips, Salman said, “Sabse pehle toh zaroori hai accha aur saccha hona. Thodi bohot acting aani chahiye. Bollywood mein comedy, drama aur emotion sab hona chahiye.”

     

    Kids can also be a part of this memory by participating in the Selfie Le Le Re with Kris and Salman contest on 18 July 2015 only on Cartoon Network. All they have to do is tune-in to the special and answer the contest question. One lucky kid will get to click a selfie with Kris.

     

    Bheem aur Bajrangi Bhaijaan – 19 July 2015 at 12PM

     

    This 90 minute special on POGO will see Salman Khan drawing parallels between his character in the film and superhero Chhota Bheem – both equally loved by kids across the country. They both do good, help people in need, always stand up for the right thing and are heroes to millions.

     

    Also watch out for Salman and Bheem’s funky dance moves in a special music video that will also air on POGO.

     

    That’s not all! POGO is giving 100 lucky kids a chance to watch Bajrangi Bhaijaan before its release in theatres! All kids have to do is participate in the contest currently running everyday (till 14 July) on POGO at 12PM.

     

    Commenting on Bheem and his character in the movie Khan said, “Jab Bheem hain mere paas, toh darne ki kya hai baat. Bheem aur Bajrangi Bhaijaan mushkil safar bhi lenge kaat, nahin chodenge doston ka saath.”

    MUMBAI: Cartoon Network India’s poster boy Kris is set to travel to the land down under for a new adventure. Set in the great Australian outback, Roll No 21: Ticket to Australia premiers on 31 January at 12 pm on CN.

     

    In this latest addition to the Roll No 21 portfolio, Kris will embark on an exciting and fun adventure to Australia for his summer break. But this isn’t going to be like any other holiday! The trip suddenly turns into a rescue mission, when his Australian friend Nicky is captured by a dreaded bandit – Danger Doongara – a mutant reptilian creature.

     

    In what is his biggest ever rescue operation, Kris travels across the length and breadth of Australia; from the Great Sandy Desert, to Mount Ulluru in the treacherous Australian outback, to the Great Barrier Reef and all the way to Kangaroo Island in the south.

     

    Brimming with humour and wit, the brand new film is geared up to discover the beautiful Australian continent, make new friends and defeat a new villain Doongara and also his arch nemesis Principal Kanishk.

     

    It is the fourth tele-feature from the franchise. For the record, CN India’s first original animation production series, Roll No. 21 was launched in 2010 and has seven seasons under its belt.

    Cartoon Network gets ready for exam season

    MUMBAI: Cartoon Network is all set to help kids face the exam fever. The channel has lined up all its superheroes and cartoons to help kids relieve stress and exhaustion. Throughout March kids will be treated to fun contests, new movies and entertaining stunts.

     

    Student and superhero Kris, from Roll No. 21, will bring loads of prizes to keep kids entertained during weekdays. Kris will be dishing out easy exam tips, presented by Kokuyo Camlin, to help his fellow classmates keep a level and calm head during stressful situations. Kids can get a refreshing dose of adventure, fantasy and laughter with Roll No. 21 movies from 24-27 March at 1:00 pm. The segment coined as the ‘Thanda Dimaag’ contest will run every Monday to Thursday at 1:00 pm throughout the month and will allow kids to win cool prizes like iPads, School Bags, Stationary Kits, etc.

     

    Henry is no stranger to exam tension and so his tantrums are not only loud but also ridiculously hilarious. So with the exam fever kids will be served an entertaining special called Horrid Henry: I Hate Exams on Saturday, 15 March at 12:00 pm.

     

    With Holi set to come bang in the middle of the exam season, the new movie My Name Is Raj 4 – Vizukama Ki Takkar is scheduled to premiere on 17 March at 12:00 pm, to add colour and give respite to children. Other movies premiering during the month include Bhootraja and Ronnie 2 on 8 March at 12:00 pm and Arnab aur Jadui Locket on 22 March at 12:00 pm.    

     

    Cartoon Network looks all set to ease the tension around exam season with a great offering of new shows and movies.

    MUMBAI: Asia’s largest fashion property ‘India Kids Fashion Week’ 2014 saw children dazzle the ramp by entertaining kids, parents and everyone with their favourite characters from POGO- Chhota Bheem and Chutki and evergreen Tom & Jerry, uber school student Kris(from Roll No. 21) and Ben 10 from Cartoon Network.

    The commencing show showcased Pooja Jhunjhunwala and Rachna’s collection on mythology with little angels. Indian superhero – POGO’s very own Chhota Bheem was the show stopper accompanied the couture designer Rocky S.

    Adding to the desi tadka, POGO’s Chutki (from Chhota Bheem series) walked the ramp with television actress Shraddha Arya and television actor Nandish Sandhu  for designer Kanchan Bawa who showcased a blend of Indian, western and indo-western party wear range.

    Other shows comprised of creations by renowned kids wear brand Max. The collection for young boys and girls had lightweight fabrics. Versatile TV actor Ali Asgar, immensely loved by all as ‘Dadi’ from Comedy Nights with Kapil along with the hilarious and legendary cat and mouse duo Tom & Jerry from Cartoon Network accompanied the little children on the ramp on this show. Another show by Sheena Creations created a mood to party and unwind through their collection showcasing party wear for little boys and girls. Ace choreographer Terrence Lewis along with the funny and smart Kris from Cartoon Network was seen dancing on the ramp. OKS Boys attracted positive attention through eclectic beach-wear, rockstar and casual wear. The highlight of OKS Boys when uber cool, alien superhero Ben 10 from Cartoon Network who walked the ramp with renowned singer Armaan Malik.
