Axis Bank & Lowe Lintas unveil Heartwarming festive campaign

Mumbai: Axis Bank, one of the largest private sector banks in India has unveiled its festive campaign ‘Dil Se Open Celebrations’, aiming to capture the true spirit of Indian festivals. Conceptualized by Lowe Lintas, the campaign highlights the importance of doing good deeds, not just during festivals but every day, because “achhai kabhi rukni nahi chahiye.”

The campaign is rolled out in two phases. In phase one, Axis Bank celebrated the vibrant traditions of Ganesh Utsav and Onam, bringing alive the warmth and joy associated with these festivals. Beyond the festive celebrations, the films emphasized the importance of making small, thoughtful gestures every day and celebrating the people around them in meaningful ways throughout the year.

Phase two builds on this festive spirit with the ongoing celebration of Navratri and the upcoming Diwali. While the culture and traditions showcased in every film are distinct from each other, the campaign acts as a reminder to the audience that the spirit of compassion, togetherness, and self-care that we imbibe during festivals is the true representation of being Dil Se Open. should carry on into our everyday lives.

Axis Bank chief marketing officer Anoop Manohar said, “Festivals inspire goodness in many forms- reunions with family, reviving the spirit of community, going the extra mile for our loved ones and much more. Our campaigns urge people to embrace the essence of these traditions throughout the year and not be limited to the festive alone. India is a land of many festivals, and we have used regional nuances of these festivals in a series of heartwarming films to bring this narrative to life. The plethora of offers available on credit cards and other banking products are an apt enabler for keeping these traditions alive during and after the festival”.

Lowe Lintas president Kapil Batra said, “This campaign builds on Axis Bank’s ‘Dil Se Open’ philosophy, encouraging people to embrace kindness throughout the year. Kudos to the team for bringing this idea alive by capturing very relatable and unique moments that make each festival truly special.”

Lowe Lintas executive director Prathamesh Gharat said “With ‘Dil Se Open Celebrations,’ our goal was to celebrate not only the festivals but the emotions and values that come with them. Indian festivals beautifully highlight the bonds we share, but it’s the everyday moments of kindness and compassion that truly make life special. Through this campaign, we want to encourage people to continue carrying that spirit forward, to show that being ‘Dil Se Open’ is a way of life, not just during festive times, but all year round.”

Axis Bank customers can enjoy up to 25 per cent discount on leading brands for Shopping (Amazon, Flipkart, Max Fashion, Myntra, Tira, VERO MODA), Electronics (IFB, Motorola, Reliance Digital, Samsung, Xiaomi), Luxury lifestyle (COACH, HUGO BOSS, Michael Kors, TUMI), Dining & Grocery (Blinkit, EazyDiner, Swiggy) and many more across segments. Alpenliebe Juzt Jelly pits jelly against jelly

MUMBAI: Perfetti Van Melle brings up a new and unique campaign for its leading jelly brand Alpenliebe Juzt Jelly which focuses on bear and bottle shaped jellies in the portfolio in an entertaining manner.

The new campaign aims to target the position Alpenliebe Juzt Jelly as the “Enabler of family fun”.  The purpose was to feature the two jellies together in the campaign. The film will be aired across major TV channels in India.

Perfetti Van Melle India director marketing Rohit Kapoor said, “At Perfetti, we are constantly reminding ourselves of our mission -‘Always innovating what confectionary can do’. This is evident not just in our product innovations but also in who we are targeting. With this TVC, we wanted to reach out to kids in lively cute manner and also to the entire family to promote shared consumption of jellies.”

McCann Delhi creative head Kapil Batra said, “To bring Alpenliebe Juzt Jelly’s shapes (bottles and bears) alive, we have created a world where these shapes, in addition to being irresistible, also have a mind of their own. Like in this film, how the bottles and the bears try to outsmart each other for their survival in this fun-loving family. We are optimistic about this campaign, and want to take this banterbaazi forward.”

The campaign portrays one such occasion, takes the viewer on a rollercoaster ride of twist and turns, and endorses the idea of family fun centered around these Juzt Jelly characters. • Alpenliebe bring family closer in new campaign

Alpenliebe bring family closer in new campaign

MUMBAI: Alpenliebe, the flagship candy brand of Perfetti Van Melle India, has launched a new campaign: ‘Alpenliebe Ghuley toh Dil Milein’.

The TVC is centred around the sweet, rich taste of Alpenliebe and is the result of a comprehensive consumer demand space mapping.

Over the years, Alpenliebe has found its space in the Indian family set up. In India, joint families are still popular and research showed that the inevitable tiffs between generations are still commonplace. The story was thus based on the insight that making the first move to apologise is still the biggest barrier to get family members talking again.

The commercial revolves around a little girl who, irked by the tension between her father and grandfather, uses her grandfather’s love for Alpenliebe to bring the duo closer. Using the candy as a bait, she lures the old man into walking up to the chess table where the father-son would often play each other before the fight. As the grandfather relishes the candy by the chess table, she leads her father into believing something that’s completely the opposite of reality. The campaign also stars Boman Irani to improve campaigns memorability, sweet charm and reinforce the message that Alpenliebe candy is for a treat for kids and adults alike.

Perfetti Van Melle India director marketing Rohit Kapoor says, “The new ad campaign is in a warm and comforting space. The emotional story very beautifully involves the three generations of the family members and conveys the core message powerfully that rich indulgent taste of Alpenliebe triggers resolution of small tension points in the family. The communication tone is very consistent with brand values built over the years and hopefully should connect well with the audience.”

McCann Delhi Creative head Kapil Batra adds, “The task was to dramatise the indulging experience that comes with an Alpenliebe and make it equally relevant to adults as well. With this campaign, we have managed to do that in a fun, light-hearted way.”

The new campaign will be aired across all mainstream TV channels and further amplified on digital medium.

  • Eleven Brandworks beefs up senior creative team

MUMBAI: Advertising agency Eleven Brandworks is beefing up its creative team and has appointed Kapil Batra, Abhishek Dey and Subrato Mehta as senior creative directors.

Sambit Mishra, who is currently senior creative director (copy) at the agency’s Delhi office, will be moving to Mumbai and partner Dey. Batra will be working closely with senior creative director (art) Aneesh Jaisinghani at the Delhi office.

Batra comes in from McCann Delhi where he worked for five years and held the post of creative director when he left. He has worked with Contract and Publicis during his decade long career and has experience of working with brands like Perfetti portfolio (Chlor-mint, Big Babol, Happydent & Alpenliebe), General Motors, Greenlam Laminates, yatra.com and Usha Fans.

Mehta’s previous stint was with Dentsu where he worked for four years. He has experience in the field spanning 22 years during which he has been associated with brands like Canon, Honda, J&J, ICICI, Reid and Taylor, SAB TV, Kinetic, HDFC and Manchester United Café and agencies like Ogilvy & Mather, Lintas, JWT and Triton.

Dey has been in the business for 11 years now and his latest assignment was with Lowe Lintas Mumbai. A commercial arts graduate, he has worked with agencies like Rediffusion DY&R, McCann Eriksson and Publicis. During this time, Dey has worked on brands across categories like Tata Tea, ICICI Prudential, Bajaj Motors and Lifebuoy.

Eleven Brandworks founder director Prateek Bhardwaj said, “Adding depth to the talent pool has been a priority for us. These additions are another step towards building a robust creative organization.”

Independent agencies are looking at expanding their talent pool. “Increasingly clients‘ businesses are moving faster and getting more demanding. There is a shift in preference to independent agencies, as they are fleet footed and create fresh work. Our new creative talent will help create a dynamic creative pool to manage and acquire exciting businesses,” Eleven Brandworks COO Sampada Chaudhari said.

Providing a flexible structure is a source of attraction. Eleven Brandworks partner Vivek Suchanti said, “The independents have been able to attract some very good talent, with open structures, great work environment and partnership/ownership models (more like the consulting firms). They have become true brand custodians taking on the onus of performance of their work.”

So what brings the new recruits to a smaller agency? “The move to Eleven is an exciting challenge. With the freedom the small set-up offers comes the responsibility of winning and managing substantially sized businesses while producing outstanding creative products,” Batra said.

Mehta added, “Smaller set-ups are bringing like-minded people together and offering greater freedom of thought as well as a relief from mundane systems.”

  • Wilson Louis changes track, makes a romantic comedy

Wilson Louis changes track, makes a romantic comedy

MUMBAI: After delving into the horror genre for some time when he made films like Ho Sakta Hai, Mallika and Kaalo, director Wilson Louis has decided to tread on the universal path that will have him make films for the masses and not for a specific audience.

Taking the first step in the direction, Louis is doing a comedy film titled Har Ek Friend Zaroori Hota Hai for Punjab-based Batra Showbiz owned by Kapil Batra and Rajan Batra.

Confirming the same, Louis said, “After my last film Kaalo received critical acclaim from all around the world winning numerous awards at international film festivals, I thought of moving to making masala films for the masses at large. When I can be rewarded outside the country, I should try and get one here itself."

When the producers who have given four Punjabi hits in a row heard Louis, they not only signed him but also donated half an acre of land to the director knowing that he had a penchant for farming.

Added Louis, “When the producers offered me a piece of land, it was like a dream come true. I had all along longed to do farming. Now my dreams have come true."
