    Kansai Nerolac elevates Anuj Jain as MD from 1 April

    Mumbai: Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd (KNPL) has appointed Anuj Jain as the Managing Director effective from 1 April 2022. Jain succeeds KNPL vice-chairman and managing director HM Bharuka, who spearheaded the organisation for 21 years.

    “In his new role, Jain will be responsible for steering the next phase of the company’s growth and bolstering the brand’s presence in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh,” said the company in a statement.

    Having started his journey at KNPL in 1990 as management trainee, Jain has been serving the company for over 30 years in various capacities. At KNPL, he played a pivotal role in driving growth organically and inorganically along with business excellence. He also worked with the decorative sales function covering various markets in the North and South regions of India.

    Being recognised for his noteworthy contribution and expertise in marketing, Jain rose the ranks to take over as vice-president, decorative marketing and sales in 2003. Subsequently, he was promoted to director, decorative for Kansai Nerolac Paints in 2010. He has been serving as executive director in charge of sales and marketing, manufacturing, technical and human resources functions since 2018.  

    On being promoted as MD, Jain expressed his gratitude to the board and Kansai Paints Japan for entrusting him with the new responsibility. “The focus on innovations to grow our business is in sync with our plans to establish Nerolac as a ‘Paint+’ brand. Backed by our principal Kansai Paints Japan and the technological prowess we have built in India, we will continue to provide superior, sustainable solutions to our customers,” Jain further added.

    MUMBAI: The IPL is around the corner and Kansai Nerolac Paints has announced its continued association with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) for the cricket league’s 14th edition. As part of the association, Nerolac’s logo will feature on the lead side of the team’s helmet and cap. The engagement will also witness on-ground branding on the perimeter board and giant screen.

    MUMBAI: In an endeavour to transform India through transforming lives, Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd. (KNPL), pioneer of ‘Healthy Home Paints’, has beautified Indira Bhavan in Prayagraj in sync with the theme of ongoing Kumbh Mela 2019. The art-depiction on Indira Bhavan is to commemorate saints, sadhus, and pilgrims from all walks of life.

We have tried to assimilate the spirit of Kumbh through Nerolac shades that we have used in the mural on the facade of Indira Bhavan.     Apart from the painting the 30,000 sq ft area of the building, Kansai Nerolac has also actively participated with Delhi Street Art in beautifying the town of Prayagraj, by painting 10,000 sq ft of the city walls. Nerolac, along with extensive support from its paint trade dealer network will also act as distribution centres, will make over 3-lakh customised cans available for the devotees to carry the holy-water from the Ganges home. To retain the purity of the canned liquid, they will include a shankha made of alum to champion the cause of purifying the holy Ganges.

    MUMBAI: Staying true to its commitment of supporting skill development initiatives and to inculcate the spirit of performance amongst youth, Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd (KNPL), one of the leading paint companies in India, in association with Gujarat Lions, has announced a unique initiative – ‘Man of the Match’ grant.

    The Man of the Match Grant will match the Man of the Match award amount from each IPL home game played by Gujarat Lions and release it on behalf of the best player of the Gujarat Lions team. The grant will be used towards imparting painting training to unemployed youth and equip them with a livelihood skill.

    Kansai Nerolac Paints GM – marketing – decorative paints Peeyush Bachlaus and Gujarat Lions CEO Arvinder Singh were present at the ceremony to announce the initiative. Gujarat Lion’s star players Dinesh Karthik, James Faulkner, Ishan Kishan and Coach Brad Hodge, were also part of the ceremony.

    Sunrisers Hyderabad, a franchise based cricket team from Hyderabad, India. The team is led by David Warner and has players like Yuvraj Singh, Chris Jordan, Ben Cutting, Ashish Nehra, Kane Williamson, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Shikhar Dhawan, Moises Henriques among others. This Hyderabad franchise are the defending champions, having won the 2016 title.

    MUMBAI: Kansai Nerolac Paints (KNPL) has signed up with the Gujarat Lions franchise as associate sponsor for the ninth edition of the Indian Premier League which will begin on 9 April.

    Gujarat Lions, captained by Suresh Raina, is one of the two debutant teams this IPL season, and has a mix of experienced and fiery young players such as Brendon McCullum, Ravindra Jadeja, Dwayne Bravo, Dale Steyn, Aaron Finch and India U-19 captain Ishan Kishan to name a few. Gujarat Lions will battle it out against seven other teams for the title of ‘Indian Premier League Champions 2016’.
