    Goibibo unveils next chapter of ‘No-Compromise’ campaign

    Mumbai: Goibibo has launched the next chapter of its successful ‘No-Compromise’ campaign, targeting travelers in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The digital film features brand ambassadors Jayaram and Kalidas, the iconic father-son duo.

    Building on the campaign’s success, the sequel incorporates cultural elements and linguistic heritage from the two regions. It revisits characters from the cult classic Panchatanthiram, with Jayaram under pressure to book a family hotel. When he turns to his friends for help, his son Kalidas suggests using Goibibo, where over 35 lakh user reviews guide him to the perfect hotel.

    Goibibo CMO Raj Rishi Singh said, “This campaign taps into the rich nostalgia of a beloved classic while showcasing Goibibo as the go-to platform for a ‘No-compromise’ vacation. By blending familiarity with modern-day convenience, we want to remind travelers that booking with Goibibo means informed choices, better options, and ultimately, smarter travel.”

    The digital film is now available on Goibibo’s official social media platforms along with a limited period flat 50 per cent discount (up to Rs 2000) on the first hotel booked on Goibibo.

    Mumbai: With a continued focus to provide consistent entertainment, Zee Thirai gears up to air back-to-back blockbusters in the upcoming week starting 19 July. The channel is all set to amaze viewers this week with its wide spectrum of films that are sure to enthrall viewers of all generations.

    The highlight of this multi-genre week is the suspense thriller Kalidas which will air on Sunday, 25 July, at 1 pm. The film marked the successful comeback of Bharath who plays the role of the central character Kalidas. Caught in the dilemma of deciding between his duties and saving his sinking marital life, things get serious when he notices a common pattern of suicide cases.

    Throughout the week, the channel airs gripping and engrossing films with the mystery thriller Saithan on Monday, 19 July at 1 pm. Starring Vijay Antony and Arundhathi Nair, the superhit film leaves the viewers completely smitten by the mysterious plotline.

    On Tuesday, 20 July at 7 pm watch the comedy film Naan Sirithal starring Hip Hop Aadhi and Ishwarya Menon in a hilarious screenplay with Badava Gopi and Eruma Sani Vijay.

    Mehendi Circus will air on Wednesday, 21 July at 4:30 pm, the heart-warming romantic story is sure to give you #couplegoals.

    This will be followed by Gypsy on Thursday, 22 July at 7 pm, a film that portrays the impact of politicisation of religion and its effects on people.

    On Friday, 23 July at 7 pm, audiences will enjoy the action-adventure film Vanamagan starring Jayam Ravi and Sayeesha in lead roles.

    Last for the week on Saturday, is the comedy-drama Ithu Kathirvelan Kadhal at 3:30 pm on 24 July starring Udhayanidhi Stalin and Nayanthara in the lead with Saranya Ponvannan and Santhanam playing pivotal roles.

    Raj TV to celebrate 75 years of Tamil Cinema

    MUMBAI: Tamil television channel Raj TV is celebrating 75 years of Tamil cinema with a slew of programmes from 5 April to 19 June, including screening of 75 best films in the language. The first Tamil talkie, Kalidas, was released on 14 March in 1931.

    “We hold copy rights to nearly 2,000 films. We propose to telecast these 75 films as part of the celebrations,” Raj TV directors M Ravindran and M Raghunathan said.

    The channel is also planning a glittering star-studded award function to culminate the celebration phase. The event will be held in Chennai on 24 June, where 75 veteran contributors to Tamil cinema would be honoured.

    ‘Chitra’ Lakshman, film producer-director, who is also associated with the celebrations, said each year on March 14 awards would be given away in the name of late Nataraja Mudaliar, the man who was responsible for the first silent Tamil movie Keeshavadam.

    According to Lakshman, the channel will also institute an award of Rs 1,00,000 each to a dozen low budget movies in Tamil as an annual feature.
