    Mumbai: With Valentine’s week just around the corner, the anticipation is building for Delhi’s hottest musical event. Moonrise Festival, scheduled for 10 and 11 February at the JLN Stadium, is all set to turn up the heat with an electrifying artist lineup and cult performances.

    The festival’s management team has recently revealed some exciting brand partnerships, featuring renowned names such as Krasa, 24Seven and Red FM. This significant announcement has once again thrust the festival into the spotlight. The two-day spectacle, managed and promoted by Icebolt Marketing Solutions, guarantees an unforgettable musical journey with performances by legendary artists like Adnan Sami and the acclaimed Bollywood sensation Akhil Sachdeva.

    Talking about the development organiser Moonrise Festival India Pvt Ltd founder Vineet said, “We are delighted to have Krasa as the title sponsor on board and youth-centric brands like 24Seven and Red FM as partners. In the coming week, we are expecting a few more names to join the list. The festival has garnered an overwhelming response and we look forward to a grand and successful show on both days of the festival.”

    The two-day-long music festival, happening in the heart of the city at one of the most iconic venues in New Delhi, JLN stadium, offers an unmatchable experience of music, youth culture and culinary delight to the visitors. The main highlight of the festival is the stellar performance by the music maestro, Adnan Sami, and Bollywood hits by Nasha Boy Akhil Sachdeva, who shot to fame with his Love Anthem ‘Tera Bann Jaunga’ from the movie Kabir Singh. The musical tableau includes performances by many leading artists including cult rappers like Sid-K, DG Immortals, Krsna, and Seedhe Maut, Indie Band Twin Strings and DJs like DJ Yogi, DJ Kashish and DJ Cheshta.

    The inaugural day will be dedicated to the timeless melodies of Bollywood’s Romantic theme, and the following day to the compelling rhythms of Cult Hip Hop. Beyond music, the festival heightens the attendees’ experience with a wide range of local and international food delicacies along with flea markets that allow you to both shop and have fun.

    The activities during the festival include tattoo making, hair braiding, tarot card reading, and face painting. The festival will be full of surprises, including fun activities, token rewards, artist meet-and-greets, and dedicated special guest zones, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all.

    Vinod Bhanushali moves on from T-Series after 27 years

    Mumbai: Super Cassettes Industries (T-Series) president of global marketing and media publishing Vinod Bhanushali has resigned from the company after serving it for 27 years. He has announced his plans to pursue his entrepreneurial dreams and is setting up a boutique content company.

    “Having literally started my career at T-Series, it’s an emotional moment for me as I leave the company,” he said. “Whatever I know about music and films, I have learnt it all during my sole long innings in this company. I’ll forever be obliged to my mentor, Gulshan Kumar Ji, and Bhushan Kumar.”

    Bhanushali led the marketing of over 1,000 films and was instrumental in making T-Series as India’s largest music company, one of the largest integrated motion picture studios, and creating and building the world’s biggest YouTube channel with over 190 million subscribers.

    As he embarks on an entrepreneurial journey, Bhanushali added, “I’ve always worked like an entrepreneur, taking all decisions which were good for business, growth of the company and also for the people who work there. And BK (Bhushan Kumar) supported all my decisions. I’m excited to start something of my own, which I will announce very soon.”

    Bhanushali had started his career as a clearing and forwarding agent at the Mumbai Customs Docks, before shifting to the entertainment business by joining Sahara Studios as an associate junior worker. A chance meeting with the late Gulshan Kumar in November 1994 became a turning point in his life when he joined T-Series. Since then, Bhanushali has been the driving force of the music company.

    He was also the co-producer on several Bollywood films like ‘Kabir Singh’, ‘Batla House’, ‘Saaho’, ‘Thappad’ and ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’.

    Action-packed blockbuster ‘Kabir Singh’ to make its World Television Premiere this September on Sony MAX

    MUMBAI: A heartbreak can impact anyone and leave a mark that could live on forever. Kabir Singh is a fine example of a heartbreak gone wrong. Gearing up to be Sony MAX’s World Television Premiere, Kabir Singh, Bollywood’s biggest blockbuster of the year will premiere on Sony MAX on 29th September 2019 at 12pm. Kabir Singh starring one of India’s biggest heartthrobs Shahid Kapoor and actress Kiara Advani, is the highest grossing Bollywood movie of 2019 and will premiere on Sony MAX this month.

    The movie encapsulates the heartening love story of Kabir and Preeti as they embark on a tumultuous journey and face various obstacles in their love life.  Written and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Kabir Singh is a remake of the Telugu hit ‘Arjun Reddy’. Starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani, the film gets into the flaws and impact of a rough relationship and an aggressive young man. 

    The film takes the audience through the lives of a house surgeon of Delhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Kabir Singh (Shahid Kapoor) and a first-year student, Preeti Sikka (Kiara Advani) who fall in love. Their love blossoms over the years but Preeti’s father (Anurag Arora) is against the relationship. He forcefully tries to get Preeti married to someone else which sends Kabir on a downward spiral of alcohol and drug abuse threatening his career, life and love. Will Kabir and Preeti be able to be together? Or will their love story remain incomplete?
