    Mumbai: Alkem Generics-owned antacid brand Omee has launched a new campaign featuring Bollywood actors Johnny Lever and Rajpal Yadav. The brand’s latest campaign #SabkoPataHaiOmee aims to make India laugh as well as create awareness about the brand’s antacid solution for all acidity problems.

    Conceptualised by Hats On Advertising, the campaign features Johnny Lever and Rajpal Yadav in their trademark comic avatars, highlighting their acidity woes with the tagline that says – ‘Acidity Ho Toh Omee Lo.’ The campaign is available across the platforms such as television, print, and social media.

    Sharing the experience of working on the campaign, veteran comedian Johnny Lever said, “Once again joining hands with Alkem Laboratories for the new Omee project was really fun!”

    “It was double dhamaal to work on the #SabkoPataHai Omee campaign and share screen with Mr. Johnny Lever,” added comedian Rajpal Yadav.

    MUMBAI: Johnny Lever to judge the comedy show ‘Ek Tappa Out’ on STAR PRAVAH. A new reality TV series is all set to enter the league of the Marathi comedy shows. The show titled ‘Ek Tappa Out’ will launch in April on Star Pravah and interestingly, eminent comedian Johnny Lever will be making his Marathi TV debut with the show.

    Johnny will be seen donning the hat of the judge of the show. Alongside Johnny, two more Marathi stars will judge the show. Besides, there will be four mentors guiding the contestants throughout the contest.

    Talking about the unique concept of the show, Johnny said. “Humour exists and hence Johnny Lever exists in the show.     MUMBAI: The most eagerly awaited action comedy of the year, BOSS, is all set to start a new trend. Well this Akshay Kumar starrer is certainly changing the ways how films are promoted nowadays.

    How many times have we heard about a teaser that announces the launch of the trailer of a film? And how many times have we seen a teaser that’s already become the big buzz in Bollywood days before it has hit the screens?

    Two days after private screenings of the teaser and it’s already become the latest rage.

    The teaser of BOSS will be released theatrically with Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbai Dobaara, which releases on 15 August. The theatrical trailer will be released with a lot of fanfare on the 27 August.

    Producer Ashwin Varde says, “This is the first time something like this is being done in our industry and we are all excited about it. The idea is to build up anticipation for the film, which hits the screens on October 16. We’re all humbled with the exceptional response to the teaser itself. It gives us greater motivation to deliver to the best of our abilities.”

    BOSS features Akshay Kumar in the title role. The film also stars Mithun Chakraborty, Shiv Pandit, Aditi Rao Hydari, Johnny Lever and Danny Denzongpa.

    BOSS is produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, Cape Of Good Films and Ashwin Varde Productions and is directed by Anthony D’souza (who had previously helmed Akshay in BLUE). It is all set to release this October.

    Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 to open on 7 June, 2013

    MUMBAI: Producers Samir Karnik and Nitin Manmohan, who operate Top Angle Productions, have decided to release Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 on 7 June, next year.

    Going by the stupendous success of the first part, the producers are on a shooting spree with Dharmendra and his sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol taking active part in the shoots. They recently wrapped up the London Schedule on 4 December. The remaining portions will be shot in Varanasi early next year.

    According to Sunny, the London schedule was the longest schedule shot overseas for any film with the film extensively shot in Leicester and Birmingham.

    While the Deols will reprise their roles from the previous film, Neha Sharma and Kristina Akheeva will play the female leads.

    The film also features Johnny Lever, Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor and Sucheta Khanna in pivotal roles. The Film is been directed by Sangeeth Sivan.
