    Pooja Sondhi gets HR handle at Adomantra to drive growth playbook

    MUMBAI: She’s not just hiring, she’s here to rewire. In a strategic move to anchor its growth plans with a strong people backbone, Adomantra Digital India Pvt. Ltd has roped in Pooja Sondhi as its new chief human resources officer (CHRO). The appointment signals the company’s intent to double down on its talent-first philosophy while expanding operations across Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.

    Armed with over 20 years of HR experience, Pooja is no stranger to driving scale. A certified POSH trainer and two-time HR award winner “HR Professional of the Year” (HR+L&D Innovation Summit 2024) and one of the “50 HR Innovators” (World HRD Congress 2023) she’s known for her sharp people insights, strategic acumen, and change-making credentials. Her resume spans stints at Dainik Jagran, JCDecaux, Vcommission Media, and Aargus Global Logistics, giving her a ringside view into both legacy and new-age organisations.

    At Adomantra, she’ll steer HR across its growing business hubs, with a focus on building a high-performance, inclusive, and agile culture. As part of the company’s FY 2026 roadmap, Adomantra aims to onboard new hires and expand its business footprint placing Sondhi at the centre of this scale-up engine.

  • JCDecaux signs 10-year Delhi Airport Metro Express Line ad deal

    MUMBAI: Global outdoor advertising company JCDecaux’s India arm has signed an exclusive 10-year contract for the operation of the Delhi Airport Metro Express advertising network.

    The contract is effective from 1 April and covers both indoor and outdoor locations, further strengthening the transport media portfolio operated by the agency in India.

    JCDecaux India has the exclusive advertising rights for Bengaluru International Airport as well.

    A spokesperson of Delhi Airport Metro Express Pvt. Ltd. said: “We are confident that with its international expertise and track record in operating the leading airports and metro concessions, JCDecaux will offer high-quality services to advertisers and an enhanced experience for airport passengers.”

    JCDecaux chairman of the executive board and co-CEO Jean-Charles Decaux said, “We are delighted to have signed the contract for the India’s first airport express metro. This new contract further strengthens our transport portfolio in India. The Delhi Airport Metro Express will become a showcase for advertising excellence in the urban community of Delhi, thanks to the quality and diversity of the advertising solutions that we will introduce.”

    Globally, JCDecaux operates advertising concessions at major airport metro lines such as the Heathrow Express (London) and Airport Express (Hong Kong). The new contract underlines the relevance and creative excellence of JCDecaux’s portfolio of products in metro networks around the world and further consolidates its leadership. This contract strengthens JCDecaux’s leading position in the Delhi OOH market where it currently operates Street Furniture with 800 bus shelters.

    “Delhi Airport Metro Express reduces the travelling time for passengers travelling to the airport, providing a world-class experience on a par with networks such as the Hong Kong Airport Express and Heathrow Express. Covering 23 kilometres, Delhi Airport Metro Express Line runs on a dedicated elevated and underground corridor, delivering the highest levels of comfort for the public,” an official release said.

    It caters to the same target audience as Terminal 3 and Terminal 1D at Indira Gandhi International Airport as the most convenient way for passengers to reach the airport. “With the elevated corridor, piers, pillars and gantries, this line offers the most impactful outdoor locations on the road leading to the airport. This will also ensure coverage of the traffic moving to and from the airport,” the release added.

  • JCDecaux consolidates DTIDC bus shelter ad contract 20 years

    MUMBAI: Global outdoor company JCDecaux India has consolidated the account of Delhi Transport Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (DTIDC) for 20 years.

    JCDecaux will install, upgrade, operate, maintain and market 419 advertising bus shelters in Delhi.

    The 20-year contract can be extended for another five years. These bus shelters will be located across Central, North, South, East & West Delhi, giving the agency an edge over its peers.

    Under this contract, JCDecaux India will upgrade 319 existing bus shelters in addition to installing 100 new advertising bus shelters at new locations across Delhi. With this win, JCDecaux India has strengthened its street furniture portfolio in Delhi with a total of 5,594 advertising displays including 866 advertising bus shelters, 1,438 pole-mounted Mupi and Flag poles, 26 toilets, 50 Information displays (seniors), 24 vending kiosks, and 10 police booths.

    GNCT Delhi transport minister Arvinder Singh Lovely said, “The endeavour of the Government of Delhi is to provide world class infrastructure to the residents of Delhi. In the recent past, government has taken a number of initiatives to enhance the Public Transport System in the city such as introducing new state-of-the-art Bus Queue Shelters for the benefit of its citizens. JCDecaux has consistently performed in maintenance of their bus queue shelters and has delivered a self-satisfactory experience for the public transport users.”

    JCDecaux chairman of the executive board and co-chief executive officer Jean-Charles Decaux said, “We are delighted that in the light of our past performance, the Government of Delhi has chosen to expand JCDecaux‘s services, enabling us to continue to play a part in the transformation of the city. This new contract will bring the benefits of well-maintained advertising bus shelters in premium locations to an even greater number of people living in the city. It consolidates JCDecaux‘s position as the leading street furniture company in India, strengthening the reach of JCDecaux‘s national network and enhancing the communications‘ strategies of advertisers and their agencies.”

    The JCDecaux group posted revenue of 2463 million Euros in 2011 and 569 million Euros for the first quarter of 2012.
